Yes, the movie has plot holes and factual errors, but who cares - it still is an eye candy... ;-D
The fact that it was filmed in my hometown, (let's not talk about the sad truth that I didn't know that at the time *argh*) makes me somewhat biased, though. :o))
If you're looking for the cool fight scenes, keep on searching. This video doesn't include any as I've always found the actual storyline to be much more interesting than the action sequences...

I came because of the music, I stayed and watched the video (which I usually don't do) because it is one of the best movie summaries ever. You don't have to know a bit about the movie itself to understand what is going on.

I liked this video very much ;) because it didn't only show the gore and the fighting, which of course was very entertaining when u watch the movie^^ but i guess this scenes where picked more intelligent! they show what was really important and also the message and symbolic of the film :) It is just great

This movie's great! Only scene I ever grin at is when, at the beginning, they determine the Mona Lisa painting to be an original. Well, must be an original painted copy. Cos THE Mona Lisa by da Vinci is much, much smaller. ;) Except for that, really a great movie! And a great video you put together here!
I really recommend seeing this move. It's good. But for now we're here to listen to this awesome piece of music, enjoy :)
that is definitely one of my favourites...there are so many great details... and the message is huge...! But i guess those people who should watch it...will never do...LOL

From the compilation of clips, I'd say all the action was right there. The action scenes would've ruined the underlying message delivered in these scenes. As usual, you manage to fit the selected music perfectly to the tone and mood of the movie. gj =)
I love Equilibrium film, it's tell me that not to work like a machine, we must know what is right is wrong, work always come with emotion.

A bit of a marmite movie, you either love it or hate it, same as Donnie Darko and a few others. I love it and Donnie Darko. A really good, interesting concept.
Yeah - actually conveyed a much better sense of the mood in the movie than the original theatrical trailer.

I love this movie and I love Christian in this role. He's so real. Too bad the movie didn't have big success like some other si-fi movies. It's underrated. It should be a classic.

I remember myself being really scared about the prospect of Bale remaining a god-forgotten B-movie actor for life...
Admittedly, it's still one of his best roles. Much like Jonny Depp looks so much more caring inthe earlier, pre-superstar part of his career;)
The movie ended where it started. War waged before, it waged after. The supression of emotion was just a time of true peace, at the cost of your soul, Don't gain the world & loose your soul~

it's been a while since I last watched EQ, but I still recall the following:
The Mona Lisa that is burned in the beginning of the movie is painted on canvas. The real Mona Lisa is painted on wood, though - plus its actual size is a lot smaller than the one shown in the movie.
When Preston looks out of the window and at the city, he sees the sun in the sky as well as a rainbow. You can't see a solar rainbow, though, unless you are facing away from the sun (have it in your back).
one word "FANTASTIC". One of the best "homemade" vid's I saw on YT. Matching great with the sound. Thumps up.... btw. may I ask you what program you use to cut your videos ? Greetz and keep up your great work
I saw this movie and Ioved it so much.The message is complex but the facts and the subject are so simple.the message is deep:"so close but yet so far from the people that we love and from the things that bring us happyness and peace in life-a way which do not solve anything ,because in the end all that matters is to feel,an ability that we received from our birth and which we can't cork up , to have a reason for living
I somehow got this movie from Netflix on the exact date that we started a Chemistry unit on equilibrium

well, it seems you put toghether the most touching and calm moments of the film... the song suits very well with this...
if it is possible to make a suggestion, I would have added some action scenes, but with another soundtrack... the one with farewell by apocaliptica is a good video, already watched it?
