I have a confusion sir if you make it clear please. according to my knowledge here the perpendicular components of E cancel each other which is sin(x). And the parallel components which is cos(x) and integrates all over the ring. But here in the lecture you cancel the cos(x) and processed through sin(x). please clarify my confusion. i did not understand the logic of step where you replaced the value of ds with piR instead of 2piR , can you explain more? why does one path element represent half of the ring ? after integration shouldn't it already represent the path length of whole ring?
