This is a great review. Very good. Good work with showing photos where your shooting against window hid some details.

Awesome thanks for showing the differences! They both look pretty good.

    Thanks for the comparison!
I own version 1 and this helped me decide not to upgrade!
The extra height does look better on version 1 though

Glad it helped! I had the version 1 for a while, and I only got the v2 because somebody had it used at a really good price. Glad I got it, but I don’t know how often I’ll be using it.

I am confused between this and peak design 15L zip backpack. I never carry cameras with me. Its just peak design looks nicer whereas this has more organisation and pockets. Which one would you recommend?

While I haven’t owned a peak design backpack myself, I’ve seen a few of them and people who own them note that they’re a bit more rigid, always holding the full shape even when empty, and that they sometimes find it hard to make use of the organization if they’re not going for camera use.

So, no luggage ass through on the original Daypack right?

hopefully I won't have to keep pestering for help; there are several that I would like to know about and would like your opinion in hopes to delete some; these I will have to pay return shipping and that will add up with multiples so I want to do my best to find out first so I don't waste any more money: reminder, its for son for college who wants comfort #1, 15" laptop, exterior water bottle, and large cavity to hold books. No clamshell opening. These are the ones that I will have to pay return shipping on so would appreciate your help: Synik 30 (only problem I see perhaps with this one is will it be comfortable enough and not sure of that strange water bottle compartment), Evergoods CHZ26 (comfort? book access), Alpha one niner Evade (from the vidoes it would seem the pathfinder would be best but owner sent message that evade would be best for books ,would like your thoughts), and lastly Aer tech pack

Here are some books in those bags: imgur.com/gallery/WLnXzEm
I like the evade1.5 the best with these books. The compression straps on help make it more usable like a half zip bag, and the separate laptop pocket is nice compared with the chz26

@@AndyModellBackpacks WOW!!! How kind of you!!!!! This helped! My son, by these photos eliminated the Aer (I ordered last night haha but hopefully can catch before ships) and the Synik. So we are down to the Evade and CHZ26. We may have to order both and let him try. All the Thules and Borealis came today. He liked 1 of the Thules so worse case he will go with that vs a grocery sack hahah. You have been so helpful! I truly thank you!!! God bless you in whatever you do :)
