I like this idea, mainly because I just want to hear someone say, "So, I saw BOB! kill bob," and just randomly have to shout the BOB! with an exclamation point in the middle of an otherwise calm sentence.
You can go even further and make everyone have confusing same names. Red Ze, Blue Ze, Cyan Ze. And of course, colors in names not matching colors of players.
Ze and his crew never fail to entertain us with new ideas on how people can play this game. Honestly I am so thankful that I stumbled on Ze's video which makes him my fav youtuber now. I will definitely download Twitch for you Ze
When you pressed the emergency button twice as Bryce during this session, resulting in your character getting voted off and forcing Bryce to have to mute himself throughout the rest of the game, I couldn't help but feel like that makes for a good third-impostor play in this game mode, LOL!

For me the funniest custom games are ones where the parameters are jacked way up (like that one game where everyone was rushing to finish their tasks before getting murdered by an imposter with a short short cooldown)

You should do this with the derp crew. I think chilled will cause some serious chaos. Plus with how methodical the thinking is with the derp crew and everyone else in the group I think it would make the game challenging again or at least more challenging. Especially because you guys know each other’s play styles and how you speak when your a crew mate and imposter.

It shouldn't be that confusing just to switch names. You can either go by what they are named, and the people who are really named that just know it's not them, or by the colors. You don't need to know who is the "real" Squirrel to play the game.
