Bro, I remember that in the Frozen Inferno video (Ice Climbers. exe) I had said that they could make more NES horror games like Bomberman, and now I come across a Bomberman.exe, my idea appeared without me knowing that one day it would happen.
I feel like the "out of context" pictures in the Gamejolt pages are Content Warnings and tags in disguise
Definitely seems like it. "Violent imagery", "flashing lights/rapid colours", and whatever the game is based on/about.

Out of all the .EXE games I would expect someone to make, Bomberman is the last one I’d expect them to, yet it could work so well.

Never expected Bomberman, of all game mascots, to get the EXE treatment. Gotta say, it's a solid EXE entry, could use a bit of tweaking here and there, but pretty good for a Bomberman EXE game.
Also hits right in the childhood, having played Bomberman since I was a child.
