I had 3 real ones to choose from and the difference in those might as well be the difference between these 2...they aren’t all 100 percent identical..one real one had lighter blood staines than another on the hands..n they both were at target.
for average consumers, it’s better to give us exact and distinctive differences just by looking at the front of the box (the figure itself). So that we can tell which one is fake right away.
I bought this figure from someone today and I'm kinda confused because it shows all the points of the real one but the stomach/chest pushes in and the box has slightly darker pictures. But other than that it matches with the real one?

Tuned in to your channel and found out I got a fake one. I just checked my Ultimate Michael Myers and thank god it’s the real one. Everytime i buy a toy from NECA, I make sure now to verify through your videos that it’s real before I take it out of the box.

Dudes, no one is saying that fake is better, but even though it is fake, it is well made and requires the same amount of effort. Even though the material used is of lower quality, it is nice that everyone can shop according to their budget.

That's how mine was. I dont know if others have that. The one that I opened for the real Neca was solid with no space in between the overalls and body. When I go back to my shop I can really try an move the real one around am see if it loosens up.
Ya I checked mine out an my figure is like solid solid. There is no give until you get a little below the waist to were the legs connect. Now I dont know if the rubber (overalls) had adhesive to stick to the figure maybe wore out? But my fake one has a fat air bubble between the figure an overalls
what about the circular tape. i have a few figures and the boxes had circle tape too and bottom very high quality and 2 inch tape inside holding one or 2 times down depending.
On the new releases they use the circle tape. The older ones they used the 2 inch tape on the real one. They use the 2 inch and 1 inch tape on the inside of the boxes. I have never unboxed a neca figure directly from neca or stores that had the 1 inch tape holding the box closed, A lot of Fakes do though.
Ok so I'm confused.. Maybe someone can explain this to me.. If the product in this video is BOTH an official Neca licensed product, how then does it make one fake & the other legit? Both products have the UPC or official Neca copyright correct? So once again, how does this make it fake??
All they do is copy the box. The box is just a reprint of the real so it has the same UPC. They do it with a lot of products everything from toys to electronics like Beats By Dre

From the companies I bought them from. I bought all mine on Ebay an everyone that I purchase was a company from China. The real version I buy are always from the US. You have to look at the companies reviews. I will be making a video soon with more info about the fake figures.

No I never made it because there is practically no difference between the 2. Same thing with the hellraiser Ultimate. I bought that and I only found 1 difference which was the sticker on the bottom of the box. So I never did the video.

If it doesnt have the Neca logo it is 100% a fake. Neca would never make a figure and not put the logo on it. I just did one on the Friday the 13th Part 4 Update of one that I got screwed on and bought. It didnt have the logo on the side or on the box at all.

neca really need to do something to differentiate their releases with those bootlegs ... i noticed from the video, the twist ties from original is black .. fake is clear ... but when i searched other youtube videos, most of them had clear twist ties ... so probably this is 2nd version release with black twist ties?

I always say along as your happy with it. If you are going to open and display him it shouldn't really matter along as your happy. I get made at the people buying the fakes and trying to sell them as real.
I only like the fake one is for taking stop motion videos and pictures outside the house or outdoor the original or the legit ones are good for storing and keep in the box to display inside the house
You can actually tell which gravestone is fake. The Size could be one of them, but if you noticed those little engravings at the top corners, the fake one has black paint smudging around the engravings, while NECA's is clean. this is just from observing your video. i don't have a Michel Myers figure.. yet. I will in a couple weeks. I REALLY hoping it's a real one.... It makes me wonder how different each figure is from NECA.. To see how consistent they are with Michel. I know they fudge up figures quite a bit. judging on how many people complain about them.. I guess I've just been having a little better luck with them. The real ones have defects sometime also. I have received figures with missing pieces from neca so highly possible to get it like that in the store. Also people tend to buy a figure open it and return it.
I have one on order but with the Coronavirus it hasn't shipped yet. Just been waiting but pretty sure the figure is going to be an exact duplicate because that's how close the fake have been to the real. I will definitely get to it though.
I accidentally ordered a fake on amazon, the figure was send from china. Months later I found finally an original on amazon and instantly ordered it. I‘m not 100% sure but most of the time you can spot a fake if you look from which country it’s been send (most of the time China or something in this region).

I have bought many Predators that were terrible, loose joints, missing blades, jakked up paint, etc, etc. I used to buy all my Neca figures at Toys R Us, now Target and Neca Lady at Frank N' Sons. I have many sealed Predators, Aliens, Rocky, Godzilla, Friday the 13th, Scarface, but I don't open them because once you open the package and find QC issues, then the figures value tanks.
For me the main thing was the sticker but I dont know if they made better stickers for it. I think it would be smart for Neca to come out with a hologram sticker.
Prefer the dirtier look of the fake to be honest Im not a OOB collector so I usually buy the real and keep em in box and I'll buy the fake to take out and display
There are stores in my country that sells bootlegs and real ones.ite much cheaper to buy there real or not than shipping them. Bootlegs are not that bad. Its the paint job that lacks...other than that it's the same mold
The new fake have been pretty amazing. They been spot on and I only buy from places I confirm it is fake. That's what people dont get if you talk to the people selling from china theyll admit a lot of the time.

I maybe not be an action figure collector but it seas online all N.E.C.A toys are made in china. Hot Wheels make all their cars in a vast quantity I know because I collected them since I was a kid and you do find difference in paint sometimes in packaging because they put those on a assembly and quicky assemble and package and paints can run low now and then like the ink in your printer. So I dont want to say your wrong but how is this enough to prove your right. I'm sure all their toys are licensed, I Just bought mine at Target and it seas N.E.C.A so any other company to make a dummy or any company to sell it would be infringing on the name and would get their pants sued off them.
They make Jordans/Nike in China, they make fake purses in China with a lot of other different things. NECA has already admitted that bootleg neca toys are a problem. They make a lot of fakes of different figures like figuarts, neca, mezco, and a lot of Funko Pops. But NECA has said even on their Twitter page that fakes are made.

I accidentally ordered a fake on amazon, the figure was send from china. Months later I found finally an original on amazon and instantly ordered it. I‘m not 100% sure but most of the time you can spot a fake if you look from which country it’s been send (most of the time China or something in this region).
Ya that's where it mostly is because of the companies that make them are located there.
But even the licensed ones are made in China, aren't they?

@@TheCollectionDimension Yeah, but Neca also sells knockoffs of their own product and calls it QC issues. I have bought many Predators that were terrible, loose joints, missing blades, jakked up paint, etc, etc. I used to buy all my Neca figures at Toys R Us, now Target and Neca Lady at Frank N' Sons. I have many sealed Predators, Aliens, Rocky, Godzilla, Friday the 13th, Scarface, but I don't open them because once you open the package and find QC issues, then the figures value tanks.

There are stores in my country that sells bootlegs and real ones.ite much cheaper to buy there real or not than shipping them. Bootlegs are not that bad. Its the paint job that lacks...other than that it's the same mold

The new fake have been pretty amazing. They been spot on and I only buy from places I confirm it is fake. That's what people dont get if you talk to the people selling from china theyll admit a lot of the time.

I maybe not be an action figure collector but it seas online all N.E.C.A toys are made in china. Hot Wheels make all their cars in a vast quantity I know because I collected them since I was a kid and you do find difference in paint sometimes in packaging because they put those on a assembly and quicky assemble and package and paints can run low now and then like the ink in your printer. So I dont want to say your wrong but how is this enough to prove your right. I'm sure all their toys are licensed, I Just bought mine at Target and it seas N.E.C.A so any other company to make a dummy or any company to sell it would be infringing on the name and would get their pants sued off them.
They make Jordans/Nike in China, they make fake purses in China with a lot of other different things. NECA has already admitted that bootleg neca toys are a problem. They make a lot of fakes of different figures like figuarts, neca, mezco, and a lot of Funko Pops. But NECA has said even on their Twitter page that fakes are made.

I still call all these reviews bull. I bought straight from Target (verified Neca carrier) My box is exactly like the left but my figure is exactly like the right. No figure will look exactly the same they come from multiple factories.
