Agree with most of what you’ve said but it’s nonsense to say they’ve been superior to Liverpool in the last decade of the UCL. Liverpool actually won it and got to two other finals. Atleti have also done really well but not to that level.

This team has proven it without griezmann before. Winning league and beating prime liverpool. Griezmann is bonus but rest of the team can hold their own. Atletico is very disciplined and tough proposition for anyone to break down and has a very good record at home so definitely not a one man team .
As an Atletico supporter I would be delighted to have either Arsenal or City, I'm sure we would destroy them. RM and City are a notch above the rest, but City is a good match for us, we know how to play them. The rest of teams are nothing special.
The only favorite is the club that've been cheating financially for 10 years. The rest are in a similar level, anyone can beat their rival.
