I would suggest two 70,000 ton supercarriers that can go round the world (as proven) and launch 5th Gen fighters faster than a Nimitz are terrific value for money. 7. For what the Yanks paid for two Ford Class ($30 Bn) we could build 6 x QEs.... The only waste is the oxygen nuggets like you steal .....

There RN paid the price for that with the Invincible class mini carriers in the Falklands War. You would have thought that the RN would have put that right when they built full size replacements by adding launch catapults and arrester landing gear. For the Middle-east hotspot RAF Akrotiri on Cyprus continues to be the UK's only carrier of note. No doubt Dear Leader Starlin wants to ditch the Cyprus bases ASAP and give the Cypriots lots of money to do so, just like Diego Garcia.
