    Just came across your video and I must say that you are correct 💯!! I'm 78 lady and I was having some issues so my granddaughter sent me to her gyn doctor and he started me on the hormone, estradiol and it is helping me very much. So if I die of cancer, like a lot of people saying using this well i will go out happy!! Thank you for your information.

    Dr. Gersh, it took 3 urologists at the same practice to figure out exactly what you just said!!! It's so unbelievable that they are specialists, and it took 4 years to get the correct diagnosis. But, silver lining is that with OT and estradiol cream my bladder issues, UTI's and IC are all but gone. Thank you for your video. I hope women realize how important your videos are and how valuable correct diagnosis for female urilogical issues is. 🎉😊

      Exactly the same for me. 3 YEARS!!! My uti frequency was back to back to the point where I had blood in urine. Useless, money hungry male urologist!! I cured myself!!! Did my own tiktok research, found estradiol, told a urogyno to order it for me and have been UTI free since.

    I’m 74, and I just started estrogen vaginal cream. I had estrogen sensitive breast cancer 30 years ago, with a total hysterectomy that stopped estrogen production to help stop the cancer. It was a hard call to start using the cream. What changed me is that I have a level 2:bladder prolapse. I had no idea I even had it as I became a widow recently and really had no symptoms. I was shocked to see the prolapse and ended up at a good OBGYN that specializes in prolapse. I started with a physical therapy specialist for prolapse this week. I’m super proactive and want to prevent possible surgery. Your information was so timely for me. Thank you for explaining vaginal health so clearly.

I just watched my husband loose his battle to bladder cancer along with other sub cancers.

    Ok now I’m confused. I was diagnosed with endometrial cancer back in May, which all the gynaecological oncologists confirmed is caused by too high oestrogen levels after menopause onset. The best option for treatment was a full hysterectomy, which was done just recently. None of the doctors had recommended or mentioned anything about vaginal health, in relation to the estrogen needing to be replaced. In fact it was celebrated that I needn’t worry about it any longer as it was no longer going to cause issue. Dr Gersh, it would be absolutely amazing if you could do a video regarding this whole process of looking after the vagina following a full hysterectomy. 🙏🏻♥️

    Thank you for so much vital info. As we get older we dont realize so many changes take place in our bodies. I was injurred by a doctor because he didnt realize these things happen after menopause.

      @amelapapan6625,
      May I ask how the doctor injured you? Was it a physical examination?
      Whenever I'm getting a Pap Smear, my doctor always uses a glove and lubricant; it's never sore or painful, and I get no injuries.

    I have leaky gut and through very strict diet i’m very vigilant and eating the most super antioxidant foods. I don’t drink cuddle smoke, and I have zero sugar no pizza no desserts etc , on top of that. I take Whole Food supplements with no fillers, vitamin D and especially probiotics to keep the micro biomes , gut health strong.
    I’m 68 years old and through these super foods exercise is crucial and just part of my lifestyle. I’m a fitness and yoga instructor.
    You mentioned Esther dial along with other vaginal health things we can do. Thank you. I am wondering if through foods we can improve our vaginal health keeping those micro, biomes, strong, and healthy through whole food eating???

    Anyhow, I sincerely believe that because of my diet, I have none of these issues. My vagina is still very lubricated and sex is no different than it was in my 20’s.

    Dr. What about those ladies that have had Lycan Sclerosis? Can this treatment help in that area if the problem wasn't totally disfiguring or even THAT bad? Plz can you answer this? It's so important that I know?

    • @tweetyArtist

      I have lichen sclerosus and have been on the clobetasol cream for years. Once I started to use the estrogen vaginal cream 2 years ago, I found it helped the condition also and now it seems I do not need as much of the steroid. Lichen sclerosus comes as we age because the lack of estrogen exacerbates it.
