This started a discussion with my husband for taking a detox day of internet per week. To help with the time, and do something else, also maybe be less addicted. This was a great video, i’m glad I saw this.

I have been scrolling for an unbelievable amount of time the last few weeks. I am replacing scrolling for the uncertainty of my future.
Wake up call! Thank you 🙏🙏

I don't care. I'm spending years working my life away so I'm gonna enjoy my life. I don't do other harmful things like drinking, smoking or doing drugs like everyone else.

Guilty as charged. My Doom Scrolling is political crap on RUclips, flicking through Shorts videos and Facebooking. I can spend hours sitting on my ass wasting away a day and feel unaccomplished and bad know I have 100 other things that I should be doing and I just irresponsibly chucked half the day away, but hey, there’s always tomorrow. Mel, I hope you can expand on this topic as 2 therapist’s and one shrink doesn’t seem to cut the mustard, but I think your work can. I found you about a month ago and feel your coaching and guidance is more likely to break through and help me with my worthless addictions and ADHD issues. I’m spreading the word about you Mel and thanks for doing what you do.

This is a great Video. This brings back painful memories which i have been enduring. My relationship of 5 years ended 3 months ago. The love of my life decided to leave me, I really love her so much I can’t stop thinking about her, I’ve tried my very best to get her back in my life, but to no avail, I’m frustrated, I don’t see my life with anyone else. I’ve done my best to get rid of the thoughts of her, but I can’t, I don’t know why I’m saying this here, I really miss her and just can’t stop thinking about her.

I am sorry about what you have been through. I have been through something similar and was almost depressed, till I contacted a spiritual counsellor who helped me get my ex back and hence my life back

Been working on my social media scrolling time cutting it back. Too funny this popped up after listing to morning affirmations. Finding more time for other things and getting stuff done. 🧘🏼‍♀️🚴🏼‍♀️🚶‍♀️📚💨

Social media developers literally modeled the apps after slot machines. Mindless scrolling, brightness in lights, constant bings, all the things!! It was designed to numb us and have us addicted. Wickedness

Who numbed their minds out putting white and beige book covers on your books for a cleaner background?😅?

They did that so the blue book behind him "pops" out at you. Advertising without being "pushy".
