I'd guess a prime reason Garrett was bounced is that he's a 50-year-old stoner. I think Gavin wants to run the network more businesslike, betting he's a more rigid boss than Anothey was. I was surprised to see how vital weed is to Keith. I've got to admit something silly about old guys with greying hair, and getting stoned is the highlight of their day.
