Thanks so much, Phelix! 🙏 Glad you enjoyed it! Kisumu has so much to offer, and it’s exciting to showcase these unique estates. Keep tuning in for more interesting explorations!
Lolwe and Migosi are divided by that road adjoining Kakamega road. This estates were built when i was apupil. There is no kondele estate. Kondele is ashopping centre bordering Migosi, Manyatta and Nyawita. Do something about Tom Mboya, Kibuye, Arina, Nubian estates... Arina was my hood in high school.
I missed on this Migosi and Lolwe. For sure, to do justice, I will plan to redo the area and especially cover both Lolwe and Migosi. Happy to hear you understand the area well from an early. Thanks for the insights about Kondele. I will do something for sure on the areas mentioned. Thanks for the continued support.
Personally I thought Kisumu City was small. And I decided to walk from CBD to Kisumu Specialist hospital I can tell you, I didn't manage. Reaching Mamboleo bypass, my legs were burning inside the shoes. I decided to board a vehicle and still I paid around Ksh 40 just 10 shillings less if I were to board a matatu at CBD. So I didn't save as I thought and I wasted my energy.
😂 Phelix, that’s quite the adventure! Kisumu might look small, but those distances can really surprise you, especially on foot. Mamboleo bypass is no joke! Glad you made it safely in the end - and hey, now you’ve got a great story! Thanks for sharing.
Not really These estates are far from city CBD. If a motor bike takes this long at least 10 minutes, it means if one were to treak, they will take around 1hr. That's far bana.
True, Phelix, these estates are definitely a good distance from the CBD! Sometimes the size of Kisumu surprises even locals - trekking would be a real challenge! 🚶🏽 Thanks for bringing your insights here; it really adds to the picture of life in Kisumu. Stay tuned for more explorations, and karibu back anytime!
Thanks for the continued support. On this one, am really lost. Differentiating between the two estates is tricky. Will one day redo the two to get the distinct boundaries and if they neighbor each other. Maybe you can share more insights on the two.
They really destroyed this estate, I leaved in this estate 9 years ago and back then it had an estate gate of which shops were not allowed inside the estate and half of these buildings were not there, there was some level of organisation in the estate not this random development happening now
That means there has been negligence of some form or do we attribute the disorganization to increased population growth? Some of these issues are controllable but most of times given a blind eye.
@@ShiftingNews it's just pure greed because the estate had a management which was supposed to oversee the implementation of the estate plan on where buildings are to be located and common areas, they even did some maintenance on common areas, because of the main gate into the estate a lot of the homes didn't have perimeter walls back then..it just looked a bit tidier
@@amollohisaac Like stayed in Kenya re in 1998....it had agate, anursery, agym and fully gated.. It was the only enclosed estate in Kisumu with modern buildings.
@@oumaedwin198 so you people have nostalgia with the past of this estate. Sad it took a different direction in terms of tranquility and development, and it now looks in the current state.
I didn't know kisumu is this developed
Kisumu has improved indeed and still growing. It should be a good city one can decide to invest in
Very nice video Sir

Best video of the outskirts of Kisumu town. Kudos brother 🎉❤
Thanks a lot 😊 for the complement and encouragement. We will keep improving pole pole tu.

Amazing
Thanks very much brother. We continue exploring.
Tweak your camera settings a bit.
The brown hue is way too saturated making Kisumu look like Kampala.
Noted on this. Guess I forgot to adjust the settings when doing this coverage.

Migosi and lolwe Estate are 2 different things. Next time, try to pick someone who knows kisumu well, nkt
Thanks very much for the concern. For sure, we will make sure we do the homework well next time we redo Kisumu. Thanks again for the amazing support.

That's Lolwe Estate. Not Migosi
I have noted this and highly apologize. Will plan another exclusive tour to get the clear picture of the two. Thanks for the continued support.
Your guide doesn't know Kisumu very well.
Next time, get a local resident to show you around.
I will do a breakdown of Kisumu and environs and plan for another coverage with a different approach to ensure we get most of the areas right.
Lolwe estate not migosi
