watching this stuff has made me realize how streamlined and accessible the game actually is for new players starting now. as a day 1 player i sometimes take for granted how many QoL changes we have received over time. great content, mitch!
I mean it’s only streamlined if you know what you are doing. You still need an established player to make this kind of guide to get rid of the obtuse factor.
@@mrbubbles6468 for some things, sure, but i mean comparatively from a couple of years ago there is a massive difference. i think if you have any experience with turn based and/or gacha games you can figure most of it out with the in-game QoL additions. if you're brand new to this sort of stuff then guides like the one Deity is making are fantastic to ensure you don't make common "mistakes" to slow your progress or misuse resources.
i lost my 2 year account after a 8 month break due to IRL things but its gone but this gave me hope i can start off even better hopefully

Thank you for making the guide. I watched your other videos on your 30 day progress and I was impressed with your efficiency and resource management. So I decided to make a new fresh account as well and see how efficient I can be.
I have a main that I have been casually playing ,on and off now for 3 years with a handful of ML5*s and a good number of RGBs (wasn't in a guild so mystics only trickled in). Even there I don't really do RTA as I only built up the PVE units that were necessary before they revamped the new player experience and gave away all those free mats and Vivian, Cermia, Sigret and Stene. The good news is that I have Straze, Stene now, Briseria, ML Ken (I'm sure he will get a buff like Briseria and LrK did), Arby, and LRK and some 4* units like BBK, and AoL to invest a bunch of mats into and all the core RGB PVE and PVP units like Landy are done. Just need more and better gear!
Going to try the 30 day following the guide (mostly) with this new account to see how efficient I can be over a month and then I plan on going back to the main and cleaning it up (I'm playing on there as well to get the free gear piece and maybe get lucky on ML Landy).
One thing I like about Epic 7 is that sense of progression, like growing your own garden over time.
What I am really interested in your guide is being efficient with daily resources, and progressing to RTA effectively and getting to Abyss 100. I think on my main I was stuck on 85 or 90, whatever stage has Ken/MLKen.
I was going to go for Destina and despite your suggestions to follow the guide closely, decided on Iseria (since I don't have her on my main), and then while going through adventure, I pulled Roana, Cecilia, Karin, and 4* ML Sinful Angelica.. This kind of changed my trajectory a bit as I can use Roana for RTA and may not need Destina right off the back.
Since I now have half of my Wyvern 13, 1-shot team already thanks to Singelica and Karin, and I have Iseria, I will probably make a turn into A13 to get a rage set at some point once I get some Wyvern gear, after the first month or 2.
Cecilia is great for expeditions and Roana for Raids, this is worth keeping. Even got Muwi and Arowel. Even if I don't pull any ML5*s or 4*s from the rest of the Covenants this is already a solid start.
I'm tempted to pull on Landy just so that on the upcoming custom banner I can go for Guiding Light, SSB (for Wyvern/Banshee 1 shot and her Reingar's Drink artifact), and Luna for Draco Plate. Thinking Long term here. Still though, that may deviate from the guide a bit too much unless I get lucky and pull Tama early. Might have to try for Tama and if I pull her early go for Landy. That all depends on how important it is to use the skystones to farm more catalysts and stigma and hunts. Landy will probably get re-run a lot but it's nice to have her and she is my favorite character.
Anyway I'm looking forward to the rest of the guides. Anyone who starts a new account or comes back now will probably be really well positioned when the Anniversary comes around end of August/Sept. They will hopefully let us pick a ML5* and give us 7 days of free Covenant pulls or at least a 5* selector. Either that or we'll get another collab right after they starve everyone of bookmarks and shit on all the new players by running so many limited and collab banners back to back.
For anyone tempted to pull in the upcoming Guilty Gear Collabs or Re:Zero, don't. Just powder Guardian Crustals (Emilia's artifact) and skip the rest for whatever is coming after all of this which might be Full Metal Alchemist rerun and if we get this go for Edward or a new collab or event/banner during anniversary.
Smilegate likes to throw bait banners before the good stuff". Emilia is the only one that may be worth pulling out of those 2 collabs. Just farm for Proof of Valor artifact and Junkyard dog, and copies of green Ram an Sol (free units). Ram can 1 shot Banshee so you don't need BIken from GG collab. You don't need Dizzy or Jack-O. As a new player you don't want to start on the path of being a filthy cleaver, as that is the path to the Dark side.

I played 5 years ago, but quitted few months after because im not used to pvp focused games.
But i still comeback for the story. now i decided to make a new Account in my Region (eu server) and decided to follow your steps and its going smoothly atm! its getting only though because i have to get to 7-9 with ilvl 41 gear to get that gear for free spirit tieria xD
but im almost there!
This time im going with the PvP mindset into the game. because this guides you put here, does prepare me for PvE as well and i think im gonna stick to the game if i follow your steps!

Everyone watching if you are past day 1 but arent too far restarting is never a bad thing. I restarted my account early on and within a week it was better than an account i had been playing for a month. It will just come down to what characters you summoned on your account and what you are working with whether or not its worth it
I got both Landy at pity and Tammarine 20 summons in. I don’t have Tagel’s book. I’ve managed to farm around 6 6 stars and I got muwi and finished Furious Quest. Is that alright? Or should I restart?
@@zoxfalcon2510 Sounds good. You can get Tagahels Book from the Powder of Knowledge shop for the coming days so don't worry about that I'd say

Great Guide! I just recently started playing, and went for a great combo. Because right now there is a Landy banner so i went for that + destina from selective.. Have been playing now for 4 days, and have fully completed UH can auto farm all the stages. Already at stage 10 in episode 2, so its great! and fully F2P :)

lol i agree with you, i started my gacha thing with raid shadow legends took me along time to figure out how these games work, e7 is different from alot of them, but has had some of the best ftp QOL changes i like the game but wasn't always a fan of gear cause i forget things, and not remembering what rolls i got on gear was hard for me, for 1 but i always struggled to get beat the 2nd chapter and getting gear, and some of the detail stuff with farming food, like people just generalize what to do and expect you to know what your doing or something, or they give you the wrong perception of how its done just to get views or whatever, kinda annoying, so i never really could figure out this game so thanks for this guide. it shows a different aspect of how to play the game,
but what i was tryign to say was, my favorite that got me into this game was judge kise :) she was one of my favs i hate how my favorite characters are always the ones that suck :(
Thats how it is for me too, character I like always end up sucking. The nice thing is once you get far enough and get stacked on gear you can find a way to make the characters work here and there so it still feels good

Question, do you think it's possible to speedrun to chapter 4 10-10 with just adventure ras, free spirit tierria and tamarin? I did the wyvern hunt but only to get the free gear. Also how long did it take you to finish all of story mode on your main account. Just returned after 3 years of hiatus from epic 7.
I wonder if there is going to be a revision on the early parts of this guide. Due to the changes of dust being used for equipment upgrade not fodder anymore.

I just got into this game and have been playin for a good week just as season 1 ended... Wish I would've saw this guide playlist before I started, but I'll adopt these guides startin today... Quick question, I saw u upgradin gear with gear in the same manner u upgrade characters and artifacts... This isn't still a thing in-game is it cus it doesn't give me the option to use gear to upgrade gear
I maintain that still to thid day Epic 7 cpuld do with focusing it’s new player experience round getting to a point like this.
Sure they’ve added stuff like the Hunt Challenges but that only focuses you into the Hunts. Epic 7 has a nunch of other content that you aren’t really guided on.
Maybe if the Hunts instead of just giving you one character, gave you a Team for completing the challenges and Jlab gave you Units that worked well with each other.
Instead it’s here is a good first unit, good luck. Meanwhile we are giving you a bunch of Stamina and Resources and not really telling you how best to use them.
I allsp think that since the Selection Summon isl now infinite resets, they should just allow you to select all the things you want on it so you don’t have to roll forever
after all these years epic 7 still manage to be included in the top gacha games

Gave up on the perfect reroll around 300 for the perfect destina crozet tagahel , ended up only with destina tagahel should have keep the crozet destina
After 10-10 cause of the Thanksgiving holiday i got 4 chances for ML summons ( G-purrgis, Eaton, C.Dom. and Otillie)
I got Tagehel 2 and destina on my #10 is that good enough? Or should i keep rolling? Rn on my #148 rolls (no crozet or aurius)
I think you’ve done this guide before the update. Now it’s impossible to upgrade your gear on +12 so easy with new powder system without using charms. I follow this guide and I cannot enhance one item on one character either =(
Is it necessary to have Ras in order to progress through the story mode from day 1 onwards?TIA

I mostly followed this guide except for maybe two things. I picked Vildred because I wanted to focus on fast farming and have a lesser focus on pvp. Can I still continue to follow this guide and your other guides?
Also, what’s the best things to farm for in this game? I’m currently on day 4 and want to start grinding and farming for useful things.
(Btw I did like ~1500+ summons to get 3/4 recommended starting items. I didn’t get Tagehel’s.)
Yep youll be fine! destina is just so you can play early RTA easier
I have aldready played for at least 3 weeks and i have some good characters but i cant get above ep 3 2-8 so i do not want to restart so what can i do?

I chose Iseria and then Arbiter Vildred my plan is that when I get to the hard part of the game I will reset moonlight and choose spec tene now I'm building a wyvern team and I miss muwi and I don't know what to do in this case I hope that Iseria was also a good choice. If I wrote something that was explained in the guide, I apologize, but I haven't watched the whole thing yet. I'm now at Episode 2 and i saved all my bookmarks - 250 and skytones - 7000

That level 70 speed set that comes from Free Spirit Tieria path--Is it okay to upgrade it to +15 for the Arky 7-day reward thing for new players?

watching now and it sucks that gear can no longer be used to feed into other gear you now have to go into your backpack and Arrange to make all the ones you dont want into dust

Once you get past the firsst month its super passive. but initially VERY grindy. once you hit level 25 you unlock pets that let you auto battle

I only just started your guide yesterday and finished episode 1 10-10, atm there's still 6days left of custom group summon, and wanted to know if I save enough covenants to get 120 blue coins what are the 3 characters to select? If it's worth summoning on that banner? Was definitely gonna put tamarine as 1. Ive only got the units your recommending at the moment and have started the free covenant summons grabbing muwi, wasn't able to get crozet, but still ended up getting destina and that book artifact with the 10souls which has been a smooth ride.

Hey, new player here. Been in the game for a week (though I did play back when it came out but not for long).
Got a pretty solid start with nice savings but neither Destina nor Tamarinne yet.
I sit on almost 2000 covenant bookmarks, some mystic medals after doing the shop reset.
I got ML Vildred in summons, picked Stene in ML Blessing, also got ML Landy for 500 mystics, hope I’ll be fine for what’s coming.

I tried to see how long it would take to get a perfect summon from the selective. Im currently at # 1000 and the most it gave me so far was just destina with tagehel, which was summon #25.... i must be very unlucky, i just wanted to get one with the 4 star and the Tagehel. but noooooooo

Regardless of what you may have missed in terms of being efficient, getting ML Landy already makes your account a win!

having destina and crozet is fine. the 4 star artifacts will come so the sooner you start the better

Yes that is so lucky. So you have spector tenebria and ml vildred? Ml vildred will replace tieria for you for all content. You got blessed

Isn't Rose a better knight to pick over Crozet? Rose gives your team attack buff and cr push which will make your runs faster and just like your reasoning for Crozet, she's gonna die faster than a healer. Building Rose also prepares new players for fire expeditions whereas Crozet has no other use cases once you have a stable fast w13 team (be it a one shot or not).
crozet i use in all expos on the 30 day master account. So rose works but crozet will protect a backline unit from getting 1 tapped by wyvern by giving a shield and defense buff if you fail your debuffs one rotation. Rose may make it a bit faster but crozet makes it more reliable and less failed runs
I also used him for almost all of abyss, the defense buff and barrier just saves you from so much rng

When i start e7 my selective summon 5 star was ludwig and i didn't even play a day because of him 🤣(that time i didn't know how to reroll)
I'm just new to this game. Can someone tell me what benefits i can get by doing lots of PVP? Should I focus my account on PVE or PVP in long term? Which heroes should I pull for the content that I focus on?
This games end game is mostly pvp. There is limited pve content beside hunt farming daily. rewards are not great for pvp but rta for example you can play as mmuch as you want and if you enjoy it and want to get better it becomes a game you can play for years
i'm gonna hit pity on tamarin. 250 bookmarks and 4000 sky stones and i didn't get her. i know that's an instant restart but jesus lord i cba to finish 10-10 again
Should i summon on the rezero Banner ?
Hello , thank you for these series . Is it better to summon first for green landy and after for tamarine ? Due to the landy banner will expire.
You need guiding light artifact if you want to use landy in pvp. It's only available during the custom banner event in which you choose cerise which comes with the artifact and you can also choose landy there

Landy is super nice to have but i would focus tam first. The problem is most other content creator will say to pull landy first but you wont be able to truly build her for month. I think progression in this game is more important than having a bunch of characters sitting doing nothing

4387 attempts in. I’ve gotten Destina, Crozet, Aurius twice. Still hunting for Tagehel’s.
You dont need all 4, just start the game. I just listed what would be the ideal set up you do not need this. You will get tons of aurius and tagahels just for playing
