Today I received my copy of this figurine. I got number 27 out of 2000, I'm very happy with the purchase! We are waiting for the announcement and release of Virgil from DMC5.
Excellent review! Now I am even more hyped to receive the one I have on pre-order. Seeing that there are several other reviews, I hope this means it will be shipped soon. I got it from a store in UK. I am more of a Vergil fan, but I believe DMC5 Dante is the best design.
I love this figure far more than the DMC4 Dante (with the exception of how much better the magnet for Rebellion is on it) but for the life of me, I can't seem to get my Dante's arms to move out in front of him without feeling like I'm going to rip his coat. Also the inner shirt sleeves are stuck up inside his coat's sleeves and I can't get them out. I've even taken a coat off strapped the sleeves with tape to hold them onto his forearms put the coat back on and they still just slide right back up.
Well said! No 1:6 scale is perfect and there will be *minor* issues at times. The question is: How much do they bother you? I personally just received my DMC5 Dante and I can't believe I'm holding a toy from a game I've spent 300 hours playing even to this day.
that smirk got me like oh my gosh. tho i have to say, dmc 3 dante stole my heart, both in game and in figure, i love the anime-esc look so much on him. but i cant say that the dmc 5 one looks any less amazing. great video
If you're living on a budget, I'd say no. There are more important things to spend your money on, like paying bills, putting food on the table. But if you have extra money, and if you are a Dante fanboy, then definitely get one.
Honestly I don't know of any other stand that has the strength and durability like the one I use. Maybe you can try ebay and see if any seller is offering that base?

Can you only bend the elbow 90° or does he have a double elbow joint?
How do you achieve that pose? Cool pose btw. I have been trouble to pose my dante (specially its arms) because of its outfit.
