It would be so funny if we got other Berry Mythicals but they're nice and Pecharunt is the only one that is evil and brainwashes people, and he's sort of like that one family member that never gets invited to gatherings
Names for these Pokemon that were "blessed" Similiar to how the 3 loyal are based on expressions mixed with their animal
Blissey: Munchibliss
Snorlax: Beary
Terapagos: Terapagone

Here is a fun theory relating to Pecharunt if you were interested:
So we know it is responsible for giving the Loyal three their toxic chains, but the real question is why did it want to take Ogerpon's masks? Surely greed couldn't be the sole reason. Though after the Mochi Mayhem event, there is something that happened during the Teal Mask story that does kinda line up. After learning the truth about Ogerpon, you still go to read the 3rd and final sign board which talks about how if the ogre sees your face your soul will be not under your control. But this can't be true because we already know the entire tale of Ogerpon is false. Not only that, but it isn't really part of the story like the other two signboards. However, what Pokemon do we know can take over your soul once you look into its eyes? Pecharunt, where it shoots its mochi into your mouth and you become a mindless zombie to it. The 3rd signboard also mentions how those who wore their mask would be safe from the ogre's wrath, which would also make sense here because the mask would block Pecharunt's mochi. So maybe, Pecharunt wanted to steal the masks because he wanted to control the man and Ogerpon, but they could only take 3 masks. And coincidentally, the three masks that were taken leave it with just the pure Grass typing, meaning it would be weak to the Loyal Three's Poison type
Solid.
And so, the whole mask festival where people wear masks... To shield themselves from getting mochi shot into their mouth.
@@eglolso that means they lost the original tradition of the festival to the story of ogerpon. Which was the perfect opportunity for Pecharunt. However, Pecharunt would’ve become more nervous after having their controlled Pokémon sealed away and awaited for their return. But since the MC character caught the loyal three it instead decided to take matters into its own hands and hypnotise the entire town. With the arrival of a strong trainer like Nemona it saw it’s chance. Just to be defeated by the MC and caught.
But that still leaves the question as to why Pechrant wants to take control of humans and pokemon what is it they are trying to accomplish?
but hey that's just a theory a game theory (i'm crying still)
An idea to expand on Mesmeraz's Loyal Three;
1. Blissey (the failed maiden) Poison/Ghost
2. Kangaskhan (the failed mother) Normal/Ghost
3. Marowak (the failed crone) Ground/Ghost
Ability Effect: A 30% chance to Disable the opponent's last used move (regardless of whether it made contact or was a status move).
For Dechesto;
1. Snorlax (the sleepless one) Dark/Ghost
2. Slaking (the restless one) Fighting/Ghost
3. Komala (the anxious one) Fairy/Ghost
Ability Effect: A 30% chance to inflict sleep on an opponent after targeting them with a move.
And finally for Degenoran;
1. Terapagos (earth) Rock/Ghost
2. Jirachi (space) Psychic/Ghost
3. Celebii (time) Steel/Ghost
Ability Effect: All moves have a 30% chance to restore 1/16 of the users HP
OR
Ability Effect: All offensive moves have a 30% power boost, but also deal recoil
So Komala has an anxiety disorder.

0:53 tbf real fruits do exist in Pokemon for example fuecoco eats an orange in a cutscene, applin lives inside an apple and kitakami has an apple tree farm as well, blueberry academy and naranja academy both employ the fruits they’re named after, tropius has bananas growing in its neck because they love to eat them, etc.
before i start, this concept has to be the evil berry is fire, ice or electric type based on the cheri, aspear and rawst berry with their own malignant chains the burning chain, the frozen chain and the shock collar.
why not shock chain?
The Burning Band, The Chilling Chain, and the Shocking Shackle.

Apart from small big turtle every concept is fascinating
The artwork of the blissey and backstory reminds me of the Chansey line in the rom hack fools gold (a what if scenario where if every pokemon had a regional variant in paradox to the mainline universe) and the Chansey line basically had rotten eggs.
Hey so…all citrus fruits are berries botanically. So that does include oranges. As are bananas, bell peppers, chilies, tomatoes
2:30 made me spit out my tea, was not ready for that visual lol. Regardless this is an excellent video, you are able to translate the themes of pecharunt into other berries/legends flawlessly.
I accidentally made a pokemon like pecharunt before blueberry academy even came out.
It was based on a fig wasp.
I named it Waspit
It makes its home inside of pecha berries. bug poison and made a venemous jelly out of it.
What a neat concept!
It’s crazy that Oran berries were canonically better in the past, since they heal 20 in Legends Arceus.
I like to think that the ace type of these berry pokemon would be ghost, kinda representing how they “possess” and take over the pokemon that fall into their traps, and that the pokemon they influence gain the other typing that they have, and they all have their own type’s equivalent of a poison chain.
I think the original loyal three could have been an unfezant, oranguru, and Mightyena
Or munkidori could have been a thwacky, look at the body shape.

Mesmerazz captured Pokemon are giving more of a loyal 3 vibe I personally think chains should be different
Im pretty sure the reason they gave pechrant the inverse story of its source is due to its poison typing, the poison typing comes from the fact it is based on a peach pit, famous for its containment of cyanide.

I have two other Pokemon for the Rasp berry runt: A Cubone that recently lost its mother, and a Kangaskan that lost its child in a accident

I started thinking about the idea of a Bread Cat again, and I think it could be fun to see that as a Pokemon, especially as a compliment to the Bread Dog we got to see in Paldea.

The golden apples and the garden were a gift given to HERA not Zeus since the labor would not have been hard accomplish given that Herakles/ Hercules was his son and Hera was behind the caveat of the labors since she’s the one who despised him.
I like the small face on Blissey's egg made using the cracks, Dechesto (if that's how its name is spelled) is my fav of the new evil berries

Very interesting. The only thing I would say, haven't actually played the update yet so this may be wrong, but the toxic trio weren't based on existing pokemon were they? Definitely still love the concepts and designs regardless, love seeing ideas expanded on like this.

Kinda unrelated but am I the only one kinda confused as to why Pecharunt's violet dex entry calls it "Peach-shaped?" Like, Peaches don't exist in the pokemon world, they have Pecha Berries which Pecharunt is named for. So in the context of the pokemon universe; WTF is a Peach?

They used the peach to tie into Momotaro's story, but you can definitely do something with Western mythology as well. Although I guess it would be less of a deconstruction if you played it straight with a Leppa Berry (or a Pomeg Berry, depending on your beliefs).
