This organization is amazing and you should go down the rabbit hole of listening to the songs they’ve put together. They actually have a DVD of this albums that shows behind the scenes footage which is really neat
This is my very new favourite from P. F. C band , & Roberto,s guitar wow . Never too old to enjoy ones. Favourite kind of of music . I’m 88 yrs Margaret .U K .
You said it Mark Johnson’s original conception ,music a universal language , bringing people together ,Peace not war . Margaret .U.K. well done spread this news .
@@FischtankProductions These videos showing musicians from all over the world doing the same song in their own way shows us how much we have in common, which can allow us to celebrate our differences instead of being afraid of them.
Playing for Change is an organisation that needs more attention from reactors to expose their mission of bring peace to the World through music. They do so my funding music schools in underdeveloped countries & 'Turnaround' projects in America. Please react to more of their stuff, my suggestions is 'Stand by Me' that was one of their first to be noticed projects & 'Teach Your Children' with an amazing lead vocalist Tula. However 'When the Levee Breaks' is one of their absolute best, I look for rectrion to Playing for Change as the organisation needs & deserves far more attention for the cause they are pursuing, Peace through music & if you react to more I will find you again.
Thanks, Fisch! I LOVE Playing for Change.. I support them for a minor monthly contribution (I'm in no way connected to the organization).. they have so many great compilations.. some of my favorites were done some time ago... a version of Marvin's "What's going on".. and also "Wonderful World"... and "the Weight".. many of them have some of the original band members as participants... hope you promote this! I really appreciate your listen...
"Teach Your Children" from their world tour (especially the Live from Brazil, although the Australia one is good too, the singer Tula is amazing! And we all still love Grandpa, may he rest in peace..
@@optiskeptic4746 Thanks, Optis... I love Grandpa, too... I will definitely listen to "Teach your Children" Tula is one of my favorites, along with Clarence Bekker.... what a great organization!
I normally don't like the amount of pausing you did in this video. However, your reactions were so on point and generally quick that I didn't mind it at all. Well done! You got a like from me.
Playing for a change is an awesome organization! You should do more of their videos! They have collaborations with famous musicians like John Paul Jones, Slash, Keith Richards, Manu Chao, Bono and more. My humble recommendation would be to react to "When the levee breaks", "Colours", "War/No more trouble" and "Get up, Stand up". Cheers!
@@kevinsattler6603 yes, another great song to add to the list! I would also like to add "Groove in G", I believe one of their few instrumental covers, which is awesome too.
I watch way too many react videos. This one randomly showed up in my feed. I've seen several for this video. While I have no problem clicking that like, it takes at least 3 or 4 before I hit subscribe. In this case, I think I hit it about halfway through. Excellent work. I personally prefer lots of pauses for commentaries.
Wow, that was cool. I'm not sure what rock I have been under, but I have never heard about this song until now. I just did a search on YT under Playing for Change and there are definitely more video to different songs.
I checked it out further and there are so many cool songs. I listened to "Imagine", "Peace Train" and "Lean on Me". Maybe you should consider doing some of them in a livestream.
My favorite version is by Florence and the Machine, ruclips.net/video/vv2DSmy3Tro/видео.html, just about any gamer that beat FFXV will get sad, if not cry, from hearing it. I'm not sure if its from being traumatized or not, but its a great collaboration of cultures to illicit such a response.

Playing For Change, man, every song they do just gets to me. This one was no different. I'm wiping tears of joy while typing this. It is so good.
Playing for change is a play on words. Changing humanity and lives and playing for change as in money. Busking

I think I account for more than 200 of those views. I listen to this anytime I feel discouraged about our ability to be kind or really work together.

Stop pausing it and watch it. You are taking all the spontaneity out of it. Add your comments at the end.
That’s how you get a copyright strike my friend.
