In this video, we talk about how to choose your ditch lights or hood lights and how to install it.
Ditch light. Best use for spotting a bunch of homeless people in my area doing shady stuff. hahaha
I used a rag to protect hood and small bar clamp to hold hood to hinge in place when removing bolts. Hood did not budge and no damage.

If your planning on installing these lights or any other ditch lights don’t forget to replace the factory screws with pan head screws if not someone can just get some free ditch lights lmao no one thinks about security

Those headlights are trash. It had so many issues. The guy doesn't even make them anymore.

What did you need help with? The wiring is pretty straightforward. run the passenger wire over to the driver-side firewall, Connect the 2 wires together. One wire goes into the firewall or your switch, Auxbeam, ETC. One ground. That's it.
I installed mine today. I have them pointing outward and downward.
what size lift do you have on that?
What size fuse did you use for these?
What switch do you suggest I want to order tall slim from Cali raised they said it may burn switch without relay on harness installing same ditch lights you did thanks in advance
The harness has a relay so you won't need to worry about that

How did you guys pull the wire through the firewall?
Rubber grommet under the brake master cylinder is the go through spot for basically everything
If you take a metal clothes hanger, punch it thru the rubber grommit from the inside, wrap it around your switch wire and pull, it will come right thru…
You should check out the KC Hilites LZR lights. There damn good and got a 27 year warranty. I mounted them up on my grand Cherokee. Check my channel out brother.

Light bars are outdated.. stick to pods, or hidden bumper ditch lights. Those large ass light bars look hideous on a good looking truck. Hense i removed mine, when in reality, a single hidden bumper light does me good.
It seems that you did a good job, but if I were the customer who owns that truck, I would get pissed watching you putting the box and parts bouncing them around on the hood. Because it may result in paint scratches, in my opinion. This is some kind of negligence or a lack of professionalism. There are many places that these parts can be placed instead of on the hood. As you know these Tacoma's aren't cheap. peace. and stay skillful

What did you need help with? The harness is literally 2 plug and play connectors 1 to each light and then the other end goes to a switch and power.
You actually placed the box on the painted hood?.. Good thing that is your truck and not a customers.....NOT good otherwise.... Just sayin'

Sloppy installers, unprofessional and clowns. You should use a blanket to protect the hood and have a cart to hold the lights and tools.
