Will vines, specifically the Hyacinth bean, destroy an aluminum fence?

Hi. Thanks for tuning in. Hyacinth Bean is somewhat heavy so as long as your fence or trellis is solid and in good shape- it should be fine.

Invasive species probably slow global warming by sheer volume but at a high cost to diversity. The major challenge is to make it clear how harmful it is and convince elected officials to fight it, utilizing concerned citizens. The need to eliminate these invasives must be clearly described. The harm must be absolutely clear to everyone not knowledgeable about this issue. Innovative programs must be initiated, overcoming bureaucratic inertia.
