    looked up this video after having bad shoulder and neck pain from pullups. i wasnt active shouldering! i was going alllll the way down. now i know, thank you. (hopefully my neck doesnt take too long to recover this time :/

      @@juanperez7290 - yes eventually. It took about 9 days before the swelling went down. I had to go to the doctor and physical therapy. I stopped doing body pull ups for about a month and went back to the basics of correct form w/a band and then I would try 1 to 3 body pull ups concentrating on my form. It was one of the worse 😔...right now it's all about the form and a band 🙄 good luck💪👊

    Thanks so much, never had this issue before. I've just started exercising again after a while out with injuries. I think I've become weak and lost form as a result

    I do a lot of pull-ups and recently have allowed myself to hang fully deactivating my shoulder and it’s caused a nagging pain

    what kind of physiotherapy exercise should i do after doing pull ups wrong for 2 weeks (hyperextended my spine and it's hurting/inflamed). most spinal exercises are for disk problems and use the cobra-pose which looks like it would make it worse (tried it no pain, ut no relief either). is there a way to support the healing process? or should i stop exercising at all for a couple of weeks ?

    Hi when I do a pull up or lift something heavy the top of my spine pains when I press it

    I use resistance bands for assisted pullups. The foot position you recommend is not possible when performing the exercise. (Because I'm doing assisted pull ups, I need stand up straight, else the bands will not stay in tension)
    Any suggestions?

      Just don’t pull up the wrong way. Apparently that’s when you sprain.
