Grievous is one of my favorite characters. Before revenge of the sith he was such a badass, not only that but he knew all of the lightsaber forms.

I hate how Dave Filoni changed Grievous's backstory. In legend it was such a cool story arc, and we could understand and relate the cyborgs motivations. Now It's just a childish fairy tale, that's fits perfectly with the 2008 The clone warses Grievous. #bringbacktheoldgrievous
I herard that George Lucas forced Dave Filoni to do this to Grievous because he thought his story and strength was to similar to Vaders.

This is my favorite Grievous-Monster AMV. Very good timing with the clips coordinating with the song. Always loved Clone Wars cartoon take on the general, better than the comical take of TCW. Thanks for the video!

I hate that in the Clone Wars movies such as Revenge of the Sith, he was portrayed as a wimp.
At least he got the respect and power he actually had in StarWars the Clone Wars 2003 series.
I love this version of grevious, this made him have more of a presence and made him actually feel like a Jedi slayer.

Henry Scott remember he is still part machine and was weakned greatly by there weapons also, if there is basically a whole army of people with weapons which can stop you..I think that was a breaking point of his.

No the director of SWTCW just did a horrible job of making him,he was injured in episode 3 but not in the SWTCW TVZ show,did you know that at first the director planned to change his back story to he became a cyborg so he would be fast enough for them to let him be a Jedi.

The contrast of the general grievous of this series with that of "Revenge of the sith" is BRUTAL, this series did honor Grievous as The Jedi Executioner, the fear that Grievous gave me in this series was as much as Darth Vader
Here they showed us how Grievous without having the strength the guy is already BROKEN, he was the Darth Vader of the clone wars

In the comics and this show he could beat yoda,episode 3 was when he was recovering from mace windu crushing his chest,and SWTCW just screwed up in making him.
Yoda wasn't as skilled of a dualist as mace windu,if grievous can beat mace in a dual then he can beat yoda.
Which I want to state that he could beat mace,he stalemated mace before when grievous himself was at a disadvantage and mace himself said the he would have lost if it weren't for that.
Once again grievous has fought many force users before,none of them may have been as powerful as yoda,but I still say yoda loses,especially since they passed a rule for no Jedi is to take him on alone because he was to powerful,yet another thing SWTCW screwed up,the fight would be insane and very close bug I still say grievous would win,but barley.

It sucks that he's portrayed as being really weak in the curret Star Wars show. By that, I mean he can barely go up against a jedi knight/padawan by himself. In this show, he is beyond bad ass. Even though he technically doesnt have one. :))

Yeah it works well because most people in Star Wars just see him as a Jedi killer but if you look into his legends backstory (which is awesome) he is just a man who has went through a lot of hardship and has no choices left so he had to be on the path he’s on now it’s kinda sad
