I live pretty close to Blenheim Palace but never been to the Christmas event because it seemed ridiculously expensive. Not only is it great to see what's included but the footage you've taken is incredible - never seen such good theming at a Christmas event. Well worth visiting the palace and grounds outside of Christmas as well - The Orangery is a fancy restaurant - again never been as it's rather expensive but the other eateries are more reasonably priced. Another incredible Oxfordshire house is Waddesdon Manor although their Xmas event pales in comparison so probably best visiting during the rest of the year!
Simply stunning, you spoilt yoursellfs now though no where else you go will be this good, pity you didnt go on wheel bet the lights looked great from on there ❤❤❤
Love this ❤ we have annual passes for Blenheim Palace as we live quite close by and are going to see Peter Pan in the palace next weekend. We have never done the lights trail as I thought it was too expensive but after watching that we’re definitely going next year. Also when you pay entrance for the palace you can convert your ticket into an annual pass for free. They do loads of events throughout the year, especially Easter and Halloween but also flower shows, food shows, jousting and car shows. It’s our favourite place to visit. Loved the Peter Pan themes decorations, projections on the windows and ceiling , all the fairies :) The light walk loved the laser and water light shows. My fav songs are White Christmas and Oh Holy Night .
you have done a great job, man of my own heart, I love Christmas and I always do a Lighting display for the Kiddies in our Village, but I am A pensioner , but I still try and add a bit of Magic for them all , Have aa merry Christmas Guys
Blenheim is a fabulous palace. We went in the summer and they had lots of food stalls then too and a jousting competition on the green in front of the big courtyard that weekend , then we walked round the fabulous palace inside & it’s church - full of history and a great day out. The grounds are great to walk round in the summer too. Xx
If you do LEGOLAND Christmas this year please go and do Windsor Great Park Illuminated after as you won’t be disappointed, the light trail is incredible and lasts around an hour

My home zoo has done a light trail as well-believe it did start Pre-Covid tho. The zoo is still open til 3, and then the Light Trail 5-9. There's an Earth Globe sitting at the south end year-round which is a little weird out of season
After watching the video that whole entire light trail is completely different to when we did it a good 4 or 5 years ago, where you started was the exit and like I said in the previous comment there was no market, don’t even think the palace was open either because it was post Covid so it was literally just the light trail
It's just down the road for us , we've only done the light trail because as you've said it's beautiful but a bit pricey. The only complaint I have about the light trail is I wish there was a shorter route for people who have issues walking long distances, it was a bit too long for mine and my other Half's mum.
I think all that Christmas market section is new as I a few years ago and it was literally just the light trail, also didn’t go inside the palace either !! Also didn’t realise how expensive it was as we haven’t been for a few years as dogs are not allowed in the palace or light trail which is a shame as it’s one of the best in the UK

Incredible vlog, Shawn. Made for a very enjoyable night's viewing. The Peter Pan walkthrough was great, full of the sort of charm I'd like to see more dark rides aim for. As for the lights walk, I always like them, but this one was just fantastic.

We’re local to Blenheim so visit regularly. Great to see your video doing it justice. It’s fantastic all year round venue. I can’t see in the comments anyone mentioning that you can convert the ticket you bought into an all year pass for no extra cost (I think you might have to do this onsite). If you did come back during the year, perhaps to see the Harry Potter tree, it wouldn’t cost you anything.

Thought when told us the price here we go another rip off because it's Christmas, but this looked I've got to say worth every penny of it!! This may be the first Christmas vlog on the this channel from all the other Christmas theme park vlogs on the 2nd channel this has to be my favourite by far I loved the Peter pan story inside the Palace and the light trail the polar express fountain show stunned me granted experience was pricey but certainly seemed worth the money would love to do it one day

Interesting you saved Paris to last, but obviously Disneyland Paris was the first park you covered as Theme Park Worldwide-so it makes some sense to close out the decade as it opened in a way
Very pricey i think in Yorkshire people wont pay high prices try YWP AND BOSTON CHILDRENS FARM near DONCASTER for great value for money details below. YWP is 175 acre park and the welfare of the animals is taken very seriously, so they have plenty of space and they specialise in animals that are endangered. I would just love you to do a vlog on this park, it is so underestimated and yet i think it is one of the best parks in the country. The people who set it up came from Woburn Safari Park and they set it up with the same quality of welfare for the animals.

Blenheim palace one of my favourite places lots to see it is expensive can be crowded and can be cold 🥶 when there is a northerly wind.
