Things were way better at the start of the 1960’s (and I was only born in 1970, in Rural Ireland) because, economics aside, people had a much better quality of life in real terms, compared to today - however, lessons were not learned from the experience of two world wars when the (back then) “new way” was adopted in the 1960’s which eventually led to our current situation today - there is an obvious need to “turn back the clock” and return to traditional moral and social values pre-1960’s
Community, traditions, societal values… So important. Despite people thinking many are old fashioned or backwards, they are largely harmless and generally benefit most people.
