Josh you are the man. Love your reviews. I've tried academy, elite FG, and elite AG versions of every mercurial going back to the Superfly 6, and my favorite boots are the Superfly 8 academy. In my opinion, the FG/MG pattern is the best artificial grass speed boot pattern on the market. It gives players pivot and plant studs, and the shorter studs are better for preventing injury. I think talking about the academy-level stud patterns more would help people understand that price doesn't mean everything. For example, the old stud pattern on the Superfly 6 & 7 academy is now the AG-pro pattern on the Superfly 9 and 10 elite. Meanwhile, the stud pattern from the Superfly 8 elite AG-pro is now on the Superfly 9 and 10 academy AG. I just wish they would put that FG/MG stud pattern on pro or elite-level boots. Just picked up some blackout and neon yellow Pure socks - excited to try them out!
I’ve personally tried the AG plates on GX1 and Vapor 15, got to say the addition of air zoom is better for my feet on AG. Now that mercs have gripknit, I’ll go mercs all the way!
Hey Jeremiah, I know this is an oddly specific requirement, but in the todays boot market, which boot would you say has the highest volume toe box? Not talking about how wide it is, but how tall. Had a surgery and after every training session my big toe gets swollen up and starts to rub against the inside of the boot, which is extremely painful after a certain amount of time... Thanks in advance! 🙏🏼
I’d grab some soft leather boots that will stretch. The wide fit version of the New Balance 442 Pro would potentially be a really good option. Just keep in mind that nothing is going to have the volume you need fresh out of the box, they’ll need to stretch
Your position doesn’t really matter when it comes to picking out a pair of football boots. Both of those options are really good for what they cost, but very different when it comes to fit and feel. You need to pick the one that is more along the lines of what you like when it comes to fit and feel.
@@SoccerreviewsforyouTY, how about messi f50 league and nike mercurial vapor 16 academy, cus I think they both have a lighter feel and I have normal to wider feet, and i want to know wich one of these could be better for me.
Nothing about the Superfly version is better. If you really want the mid-cut collar, they’re not bad by any means, but if you just want the best boot you can get for the money, the Vapor is the way to go.
These having carved insoles for that lil zoom unit, means you cant use any other insoles comfortably? I really like putting the grippy mizuno alpha insoles in whatever boot lol
I got 5 nike hypervenom phantom 1 when nike was making them but now I'm on my last pair and looking to get new boot soon. Which boot do you recommend that has most similar feel and that soft yet stretchy feeling. BTW i got those hypervenom in AG so if AG available would be the best.
I can’t say that anything feels quite like the HV1. The current Puma Future has a nice balance of softness without too much structure to the upper. Not quite the same obviously, but along the same lines
shall i go full size down on them if i always wore 42 Eu adidas copas/speedflows shall i go for 41 EU mercurials or just stay at 42 since from my one experience with nike i had to go for 41 when iwas younger but that was like 8 years ago
@@Soccerreviewsforyou Thanks for the recommendation. Went for the Messi F50 Leagues,, mostly cuz the mercs are narrow as hell and the upper of the Messi version is just class. Thanks for the help!
Mercurials are more on the slimmer side, but my teammate with very wide feet wore the vapor 15's for a year and was satisfied, so I think it's worth atleast trying them in store.

Same bro, im thinking of getting them, but i just want to see what others say
fr bro I need to see a review 😢
I felt them, they reminded me of the tech craft.
Does anyone of you know if the upper material will be different from superfly 9 pro
@@GotSteliosit will be different
Great video! Please make a review on the vapor 16 pro fg 🙏
Great review! Can you also make a review of the Pro TF version?
The caption showed the unreleased light blue colourway. Very cheeky josh. Will you be reviewing the Elite AG version?
Does the release of the Vapor 16 change the value proposition of the phantom? Which direction would you go at this time in the AG models?
I’ve personally tried the AG plates on GX1 and Vapor 15, got to say the addition of air zoom is better for my feet on AG. Now that mercs have gripknit, I’ll go mercs all the way!

@@Soccerreviewsforyou Thank you! :)
For somone with wide fit do you think going half size UP IS good idea
I’m waiting for the pros review man
These look fantastic
Nike Mercurial Vapor 16 Academy or Adidas F50 League?
The upper reminds me of the one on the hypervenomx finale indoor
Me the same
Hey vujojosh how do these feel compared to the vapor 10?
Hi Joe, i have a question, are these better than the nike timepos legend 10 academy for the cam/rw position? Ty for the attention ❤

Hi ! This or superfly 10 ? Superfly high sock is good ? Not cheap feeling ?

For $85, I've found older colorways from top models from Puma and New Balance and even Adidas.
Which site?
wich one are better 16 academy or f50 league
These having carved insoles for that lil zoom unit, means you cant use any other insoles comfortably? I really like putting the grippy mizuno alpha insoles in whatever boot lol
The zoom unit it pretty small, so you could definitely get away with different insoles.
Hey, John. Could you compare the new Vapors and the Flyknit ultra?
Adidas F50 league or Nike mercurial vapor 16 academy?
Where do you play?
Where do you play?
F50 no debate

@@The40Glock1 Buddy the f50 academy is known notoriously to be absolutely horrible. Only the elites and pros are good.
Hey John mercurial academy or f50 league?
dropping a coment js incase someone answers
F50
Are they going to drop the blue and white colorway on those boots?
Yup think they dropped em yesterday, they’re a little different than the launch colorway but still white/blue
I was gonna buy this but always I have to go to this channel
Hey Josh, are these better than the Messi f50 leagues? ❤
Depending on what you’re looking for/like, yes. But there are definitely plenty of people that might prefer the F50s. Both are solid, just different
@@Soccerreviewsforyou basically I'm just looking for a light, comfortable, and a barefoot feel. I have wide feet too
Josh, should I get the f50 league or this boot.
F50 Messi, or just get these
Can you review the vapor 16 pro
That will be going up very soon! Stay tuned
can you review the Nike mercurial superfly 10 takedowns
They’re basically the same shoe as the vapors, the only difference is the high cut, but it’s the only difference
Patiently waiting on the Vapor Pro review lol
man i wish they had the white and blue colorway
these look better than the elites ngl
Can you compare it with F50 League?
Can we get a review of sketchers take down models
