When I saw what song they were covering i was like "ew no." because in my mind they are so much better off singing folks country music rather then mainstream pop but they made it totally their own. they put their own signature on it and didn't compromise their sound. it was just perfect.

Yuppicide- I guess you think a good musician is one who can't play an instrument, can't write music (actual music not just lyrics), and only sounds good if their voice is altered. That's the only way he could think these girls aren't amazing. I wouldn't say this is my favorite song that they've done, but that's probably because the original is horrible. I also adored Maisy's voice in this video, and still do! Lennon's voice is very pretty unique (I love how she sounds when she says "heart") but something about Maisy just blows me away. I think just hearing that voice come out of that little body is just amazing to see.

I can't explain my love for this cover. I don't like the original at all, but, this has been on repeat while I'm doing my school. your harmonies are amazing, and the little cool quirky things y'all do with your voice give it so much character. Not to mention You're only using a guitar, and some kind of simple percussion instrument. Just, wow. Kudos to y'all. Keep it up. Y'all're going places.

would love to hear a version of this in which Lennon's amazing voice isn't drowned out by reverb. There is practically nothing she could sing that I wouldn't listen to ... And the songs I have downloaded from Nashville are proof. Maisy is great too and will be fun to watch age into the music, but Lennon is already just an amazing vocalist.
I agree, this was an incredible performance that shows such craft and talent from both girls (I mean, check out their sense of rythm!), but too much noise in the mics. However, the iTunes studio version sounds MINDBLOWING. It's got that amazing quality that just gives these girls the space to shine.

Idk of everyone notices this, but as singer with 4 years of music study, the thing that makes this sounds so good is the control of every breath and word; they control their sounds by snipping and or muddying the ends of breaths; from that to The intensional voice cracks this is simply chock full of insanely high skill technique.
