We got even more work coming for you guys on this Godzilla swapped Lincoln Continental this week! While we're waiting for some software to tune our twin turbo LSX Chevelle, we're going to keep cranking away at this 7.3L swapped Lincoln build. Last week you saw us tear into the interior to get our custom TMI power bucket seats installed, along with our center BMW front center console and the custom fabricated rear console.
With all that interior work done, it feels like a good time to hop back to the outside of this Continental and focus on our engine bay! We really need a way to make sure that this massive 7.3L Godzilla motor really stand out in the engine bay, and we figure the best way to do that is to make sure everything around the engine looks super clean with some custom bead-rolled sheet metal! Not only that, we're also fabricating a custom intake to match up to our billet throttle body!
If you're worried about this intake fitting under the stock Continental hood, don't worry! Cause it won't! We're going to be cutting a giant hole in our hood to get our intake peaking out into the world as this car is rolling down the road.
Amongst all of this work, we also got a chance to get all of our suspension and driveline parts painted, coated and reassembled. We also got the undercarriage of this Continental covered in some Poppy's Patina!
With all this done we thought it was a good time to wrap the episode, so we can jump right back in next week cutting up our hood!
Attention to detail and the craftsmanship is top shelf.
Thank you so much!
this build is wild I love it
Thank you so much!
Great work on the inner fenders. Makes a tiny engine compartment even tinier. Looks awesome though.
Thank you! We made sure to leave enough room for all of our misc parts and wiring!
Hi guys, the continental is really coming along. Love it.
Thanks!
Dry Ice Cleansing would've done the job nicely.
Gotta find us a machine!
I love the progress on the Continental, S2S does some great work. Your 'sponsorship ads' are among the best in the game; they seem genuine & to the point, hats off guys!
Engine bay looks great!
Thank you!!
i love your engine bay work there...the chevelle and now this...top tier
Glad you like it! We should be able to get the Chevelle tuned and a new episode out in a few weeks! We're waiting on some software updates for on computer & transmission!
@@SalvagetoSavage Awesome, thanks for the chevelle update.. i really look forward to seeing that
That was a lot of progress and work in a single video guys! Can't wait to see how it progresses!
We're trying to keep a balance between episodes that show a whole lot of the process and episodes that are more focused showing the technique!
Great work on the Continental guys. It should drive like a dream, and look great doing it.
We're hoping to get this thing on the road real soon!
dry ice blasting does wonders on undercoating.
Gotta see how much one of those machines costs!
looking super duper smooth!!!
Thank you! Cheers!
What a EPIC amount of work Mikey! Coming along great,
Thanks a bunch!
Oh yes, that factory undercoating is a joy to remove. Car looks great. Want to do panels similar to what you did so seeing you guys do this definitely gave me some ideas. Not to worry, won't be copying layout because I want to be original but as far as attaching panels your video was a big help. Keep up the great work.
An amazing project, starting with being a Continental that I love, personally perhaps it is the one I like to follow the most, although I like them all, of course.
It is truly interesting to feel the work as our own, as if we were working on it. All thanks to the excellent production of your videos.
Congratulations and thank you very much for showing us your work in such a pleasant way.
Feels good to see all the boys working together
It's nice to be able to hop on the same project at the same time!
Wow!!! That engine bay looks fresh. A lot of work went into making that bay look good.
Oh a ton! But it was definitely worth it!
Awesome Mike! Thanks for the updates!
See you next week!
Great build, you guys are real pros because you didn’t just drop in a cheap chevy crate motor. The Godzilla is awesome and I believe in sticking with the original mfg brand motors make it a true professional build . Great to see real builder not take the easy way.
That's why we were so excited to do this! We've LS swapped enough cars. This one needed something that makes it stand out!
Can’t wait to see the hood!
With all the LS swap lame brainage on YT, it’s nice to see some brand continuity for a change.
Thank you! Hope you like the rest of the build!
Love the work
Much appreciated!
An over the radiator air intake would look clean. Just need to lay the rad back
That would be a good idea!
Your sponsorship ad was great! Serious. Guys are offing themselves. Keep it up.
Much appreciated! It's definitely not something that's talked about enough. Especially in the automotive industry where the old school mentality is to just tough it out. Sometimes life gets heavy and you need to have someone to talk to!
Looking great so far! One thing I would change is the intake manifold and go with a low profile intake. I WOULD NOT cut a hole in the hood. I is going to ruin the lines of the car.
I have some bad news.... lol
Awesome fab work, loving it guys
Thanks so much!
mikey killing it again... move that firewall towards the engine a lil bit ...makes your retomod air evap fit better... had to move it forward a bit to get a vintage air unit in... the haymaker is a lil narrower.....
Thank you! and thanks for the heads up!
This has to be, by far, my absolute favorite build series. I love all of your builds, but this one is just beyond badass! Can't wait until the next video!
Nobody can help that the pie cuts make shit look bad ass!!
Definitely!
Master craftsman.
Thank you!
You guys build the cleanest vehicles. Can wait to see it complete like all your builds. Always knock it out of the park.
Firewall looks amazing 🔥
Thank you!
I would be concerned that the metal intake could cause heat soak. Beautiful car. Can’t wait to see the final product
Love the channel legends 👍🏻
Thank you so much!
Is it weird that I really want a bead roller, even though I do precisely zero fabrication? 😅
If you get one I'm sure you can find a reason to use it! lol
Next episode the hood! 😊
Love this Lincoln! Men in Black vibe 👍🏽😎
Oh for sure!
class guys 👌 , good job 👍💪
Thank you 🙌
Love this car!
superstar artist!, wow
I love that stinkin Lincoln so far. And I’m not even a ford-ish guy. 😂
Us either! But there's something about these continentals!
Sweet!
🔥
I love how you guys just do what needs to be done. No Bla Bla my mommy don`t love me BS. Just know how and do it. And COOL on top of it.
Remember that time a Godzilla swap was an actual simple engine swap and it was a one-video "project" starting and ending a "sano" running and driving "mule" that was already "built" and didn't get FARTHER FROM "DONE" EVERY "UPDATE" AS THE "MECHANICS" BECAME MORE AND MORE DESPERATE TO FIND A "DEAL BREAKER" ISSUE IN THE "BUILD" THAT REQUIRES AN "UPGRADE" THAT SIMPLY DOES NOT EXIST FOR THEIR "PLATFORM" FROM THE "AFTERMARKET" AND WITHOUT WHICH THE "BUILD" HAS TO TAKE A "BACKSEAT" TO A "CUSTOMER CAR" THAT WILL KEEP THE "SHOP" SO BUSY "BUILDING" THE "TOP SECRET" PROJECT" THE "CUSTOMER" REFUSES TO "GO PUBLIC" WITH AND WANTS KEPT OFF YT UNTIL IT'S 100% READY TO "GAME CHANGE" THE ENTIRE "INDUSTRY" OF "BUILDING" PERPETUAL "PROJECTS" THEIR "BUILDERS" ARE SO "PASSIONATE" ABOUT THEY REFUSE TO "FINISH" EVERY "JOB" THEY ADD TO THE "TO-DO LIST" OF EVERY VEHICULAR "UPGRADE" THE "AFTERMARKET" AND "CAR COMMUNITY" CAN "IMAGINE" AND MAKE "KILLER" AND FINALLY "BUILD" JUST AS SOON AS THEY GET SOME "CUSTOMER WORK" ANOTHER "SHOP(S)" GOT "STARTED ON" BUT COULDN'T "FINISH UP" BECAUSE..."SUPPLY CHAIN".
"Thanks!"
Oh man. This will be awesome.
Hail algorithm
Praise be to the algorithm!
Please please please get shot of the headlights...they look so wrong....rest of the ride looks great..Good job...love your work..
Love this build. Ford powered Ford luxury. Just can't get behind the grill treatment, still think hide away headlights are the way to go. Sorry Mikey; but those OBS headlights look like a cheesy Hollywood remake of the Green Hornet.
Bro, I sweater to god. My phone is reading my mind it can't just be algorithms at this point I was thinking about this build today how I havent seen it in a while I haveny looked at any related content and I haven't seen updates from his channel in months all the sudden it pops up I didn't even say it out loud since I was alone
My savages gm 🫡
Good morning Luis!
Any chance you can get me a couple of sponsors to inspire me with my 65 Impala project in Nairobi, Kenya? Would mean the world
epoxy primer in the spray gun and the final coat is a rattle can?
yes thats correct
Dude - your BetterHelp ad made me laugh but somewhere in there I see a genuine endorsement. 😂👍
This one was definitely important to us! When it comes to hotrods and feelings; the two have never historically mixed too well! lol Life get can get really tough and we truly believe everyone deserves to be happy. It just made sense to partner with them!
Looking f'n Sweet!!
Lmao.....I always medicate 💨 b4 watching cool material like this (for adhd & creativity)😅
And I started thinking about air intakes & hood modifications.
Something like that project would look tits with a tubular or wedge Looking intake fabricated into the hood going all but like 6" from the front edge of the hood.
😂 stoner thoughts, but different & serious mf'n direct shot of forced intake air😂
DBW is always better than cable.
so smooth and clean....why would you cut a hole in the hood????? put a low rise intake, keep it clean.
We couldn’t find an intake that looked cool to fit under the hood. Even the plastic stock one was to tall. Thats how it goes when you want a car to lay frame!
Bead rolls are sharp!
Thank you!
ough, the interior is realy ugly.
