tamed gigaraptors can tame orphaned babies after roaring. this was helpful for when i ran into a couple nests where the parents were killed by wild creatures (helpful for when they spawn in zones full of raptor packs or carnos).
Honestly, between the healing and the damage reduction, I’m starting to think Terrazzino’s might overtake. Rex as the go to boss killer they’re already nearly on par but objectively superior for the dragon you add a 10% damage reduction to them, and their ability to heal with veggie cake (and maybe a daeodon?) and they’re probably just gonna be the new universal kill everything Dino. Because they will just out heal most damage
I'm on single player and I had four spawn in the vicinity of green ob simultaneously, so I think there's more than one at a time. Also in attempting to trap a parent with a box trap + ramp, I found out if you make the eggs inaccessible, the parent will never lose aggro which buys you way more time to tame - parent ignored the ramp but just stood there trying to get to the egg.

Note. you can tame wild baby gigantoraptors with a fully grown one. To do so: kill the parent, ride your gigantoraptor close to the baby and do the baby roar (for ps5 players R3), and while still riding you will get a prompt to imprint the baby. P.s. Keep in mind that once the parent is dead, the baby will start running away so taming will be tricky. My advice is to track it with Tek binoculars so you don't lose sight of it. Also this taming method is fine for low lvls but not recommended for high lvls, as you don't get all the bonus lvls of taming. Only a fraction of it.

I had some Dino’s at 90% imprint then took them out on the gigantoraptor and it reset the 90% imprint to 8%. Just a heads up and they lost all the imprint from stats. Testing to see what would happen.
Considering he had it in the boss arena I’m assuming it has to be somewhat nearby. Honestly, because of the damage reduction the new meta-might become 17 Rex is one daeodon one yuty and one gigarap. With the damage reduction the dead on might be able to just straight up out heal certain damage.
Not impossible I play offi pve and we just found and perfect tame a lvl 150 so now 224 🥳 ; I have a question, do the gigantoraptor feed your Babies if you are not on the saddle ?? Because for us the Babi eat if he have food in the giganto inventory but only if we are on the saddle ; nice vid anyway like Alws
The walk for imprint worked with the Procoptodon too. Put the baby in the pouch and just jump around with it and the walk will trigger. Doesnt work with gigas and i believe rexes dont fit either. saddly.
So all I gotta do is bond my high lvl rex babies with the Gigantoraptor and bring it into the boss fights as well as yuti and they will get the buffs and destroy?
You can tame wild babies by imprinting and having them gain bonus levels like a tame as normal. If they don't it's a bug, and has been a bug for a while now. All wild babies should gain bonus levels on imprint. You don't need the Gigantoraptor for this.

I hadn't had issues with the game saving until the last update and ever since I had to manual save before going out. Ty for all the help and tips btw! I tamed many a dino thanks to your channel and advice. And hopefully the third time is the charm for keeping a save file tho
You can instantly tame a maxed wild baby giganto USING a giganto , just kill the mum walk up to the baby WHILE STILL RIDING THE GIGANTO, then aim at baby and press whatever button shows on it, should be in green color
I just feel like they should always have a nest. It's annoying to search for an hour, just to find a beautiful high lever parent without a nest. I also don't get the bonus levels when claiming the babies with it
Would anyone figure if the Gigantoraptor gets deleted when they switch it from a mod to an official integration into the base game? Want to mutate but worried
No, the Devs have stated it will be a full integration into the core code of the game. Which would defeat the entire purpose of taming it to begin with if we lost them when they fully put it into the core files. I’d say you’re safe to go ahead and mutate them. The files will be an exactly copy paste from mod to core files, so it’ll just be going from Mod to Official nothing big to mean a loss of the tame.
I'm sorry but I couldn't understand, can you take out the parents and claim the baby or not? I don't have any gigantoraptor yet. Great video, thanks for showing us all this important info. Thumbs up.

So basically they took a load of actions out of the game then put them back as this creatures buffs.
Anyone know what good stats for these are on official?
Dunno. Some good leveled Rexes and a yuti seem more than enough to take down any boss, I don’t see myself needing this. Too much hassle, no?
what difficulty broodmother was it though?
Gamma
Hey raasclark? What if you guys did Monarky on Atlas? I know it has its own bugs, but anythings better than ASA at this point
Enjoyed the vid but on my single player I could tame the wild gigaraptor aslong as the gigaraptor is lower or same level after you killed its mom( I did use the baby call)
Yo I beat the game on beta difficulty on solo and it kicked me out after the end scene and now it says I have to make a new character I can't load into my own world.. any idea how or if I can fix it? I can still see all my bases but I know if I create a new character I will never be able to use any of my stuff
Click on download character in the creation screen
@@Raasclark I'm on PS5 and got the loading screen continuously. Even when leaving it and coming back after 30 mins of chores. It's a hard hit but I got the trophy. Gonna start over just hope they patch it cause I had all the alpha trophies and was headed there next if the tek chestplate hadn't been unlocked from beta overseer.
I also don't get the bonus levels when claiming the babies with it
brother what is your rig config
Thumbs up.
How about how to find it … I added the mod looked for hrs and Dino wiped and still can’t find one 😔
I talked about it in the guide...
I can’t help but feel almost like this is just a stand in for meawings right now.
funny cause so many are saying make it like maewing or game is dead lol then ppl say its just maewing an its lame ppl never happy i swear its not supposed to be maewing or the same its similar but different enough it doesnt take away from maewing but all ive seen is ppl mad an think its exact same as maewing and ppl mad an think its not as good or not exactly like maewing its clearly not exactly like maewing or this convo wouldnt even be going on i think its great new dino but the maewing arguments are just overshadowing this thing
community of ARK is just a bunch of kids or bunch of adults with kids mentality. I dont get why they tryhard this game in a first month and now have nothing to do :D@@TakenCypress369
@@TakenCypress369 to be honest with they way wildcard works I doubt we will get the maewing for two years. This is more of a small map baby carrier with how fast it run and the fact it can glide like an asshole bird. But once the meaning comes out this will only be used for bonding cause it easier then imprinting normally. It definitely has it uses but in the far future it’s gonna be way less still then it is now.
