Lyrics:
How we could have known
That we’re stuck in a system
There was a pre-existing dictum
Programmed to do nothing else
Why feel so alone
When we share so much wisdom
But you set fire to the kingdom
Burn it all until it melts
Or else
Now this comes from inside
How long do we have to try
Now this comes from inside
And stays there until you die
Now this comes from inside
How long do we have to try
Now this comes from inside
And stays there until you die
Long time ago it was all for a show
Fill our wounds with a pound of salt
And your reason to justify scars you can’t quantify
Lock us inside a vault
Now this is your fault
Everything is a problem
There was a poison in the air
despair is an eternal blight
You’re losing it all
You’ve been blinded by stardom
You think that you’re alone but
we are waiting for you every night
You’re mine
Now this comes from inside
What you have I want it’s mine
Now this comes from inside
And stays there until you die
Now this comes from inside
What you have I want it’s mine
Now this comes from inside
And stays there until you die
Animation and visuals are absolutely incredible!!! Chorus is great as well!!

It’s so bittersweet and this feels like a goodbye letter to Scott and the franchise. I feel like so many of us who have been around since the beginning have been slowly letting go of fnaf (although RUclips wouldn’t be what it is today without it as crazy as that sounds). This franchise will probably never die, but this feels like a nice send off for us adults who kept up with fnaf as teens. Thank you.
I remember when I was 13 and first heard the original song. Streaming wasn't as big of a thing so I had one of those apps that worked as a closeable RUclips so you could listen to music and such, and I had it looped for days and had it in my head for weeks. Feels like so long ago now. So many people I used to know back then that I shared that song with. So many memories.
I'm a teen who kept up with it as a kid and tween and this feels like a transition to adulthood and letting my childhood go. Saying goodbye to it.
I agree I will forever cherish a bit of fnaf in my heart

The fact Scott made FNAF as a last ditch effort at game dev before he’d eventually give up if it didn’t work out, but instead it turned into this: a huge community, several fan-games, fan arts, animations, theories, fan songs, books, comics, plushies, toys, action figures and several games that managed to stay relevant for over 10 years. It’s just wild! It’s every developer’s dream! So glad it worked out for him! Congratulations, Scott! And thank you Living Tombstone for still making these awesome FNAF songs!

I'll admit I was a little underwhelmed at first, but after looping it a few times it really clicked just how calm and nostaglic this song is, it feels melancholy in a way. this fandom has been a big part of my life since the first game came out, and this really feels like...the end, or at least the end of an era. FNAF will NOT be the same from here on out, and I'm...excited to see what they do differently. hopefully they learn from SB and make something truly amazing and polished next time.

It’s rare that I find a FNaF song that gives me nostalgia, whether it be a new song from a newer artist shooting for the style of the old days, or it’s a song FROM the old days that I listen to again years later.
But this one…this is something incredibly special. It somehow manages to harken back to the old days, while still feeling entirely new. The cameo from the old FnaF 1 song voice, plus just the vocals in general, are stellar.
Easily one of my favorite FNAF songs of this year, and I’m really happy with the turnout. Well done everyone, great job.
Was listening all the previous FNaF songs and honestly, the throwback to FNaF 1 just brings back soo much nostalgia. This song seems to be so much less energetic than the first few though, I'd like to believe that its because back then, when the lore was fresh and new, everyone was so excited and now, people are still excited but with a better understanding of FNaF, I feel like this song is some type of "Thank You" to FNaF in general, and everyone who's been a part of it. :D

This really is an end of an era. I was obsessed with FNAF as a kid. Listened to the songs, watched the theories, rambled to my friends... Those were the times. The living tombstone was always just amazing. TLT, Tryhardninja, EnchantedMob, all of these creators genuinely fueled my childhood. FNAF genuinely shaped me into the person I am today. Cringe as I may have been, I wouldn't change a thing about this cornerstone of my personality. You can leave the FNAF fandom, but the FNAF fandom will NEVER leave you. I regret nothing.

Not only is this song certified bop, the animation and attention to detail is insane, my favorite being that they used the same voice effects for the older animatronics as they did for the first song.
It's the internet's beloved horror game. FNaF has brought many priceless memories for everyone, through content in the games as well as content created within the fandom. Bringing a community together to share memories and talents is one of the major things that makes this game truly legendary.
Yup
Amen brother.
indeed. im gonna miss fnaf...
@@WarFoxThunder fnaf isnt over, theres still gonna be a DLC for security breach, and steelwool probably will make a new redemption fnaf game since security breach left fans disappointed
@@sqingul i'm not disappointed by SB, though. you can tell it was originally going to be something else; some rooms feel like they originally would have more of a purpose, and some have remnants of something else intended to happen in them (knocking over barrels in the comedybot room gets a moon dialogue line, implying moon would chase you in it) and the delays only stopped once fan pressure to release the game got too high
This feels like a loving tribute to security breach, the games that came before it, and TLT’s previous fnaf-related work that truly does come from inside. Absolutely incredible work to everyone who put this together!
The whole vibe this song gives off really feels like the 80s, the way the song is a metaphor for the unending process of that being told over and over again is so cool and works much better than a basic, "this is the plot of the game summarized in a song" sort of a thing, and just how killer the visuals and singers are make this a truly incredible song

Only *SIX* people animated this??? OH MY GOD. The talent, the music, YES YES!! The lyrics oh my god, another masterpiece to remember ❤
MFW this music video animated by six people has better production value than majority of the Security Breach endings
The fact that everything after 1:20 was animated in SFM makes my mind explode, especially since it takes quite a bit of work to make SFM look that good.
Hold up, IN SFM?! Kinda makes sense how the animation looks nostalgic, BUT STILL/
For real! It looks fantastic, especially the black light part! This whole music video was fantastic visually and musically! Whoever did the SFM is a genius!

@@clankagaming The comic portion was all blender, but the animated part after 1:20 was all SFM, look it up on their behind the scenes video.

Now we're waiting for your security breach song
Hi I made a Nightcore version
I really like this song. It evokes a feeling of nostalgia. However, it seemed to me that the whole song is an appeal to Scott that the series has gone the wrong way and it's time to "close". But I think that TLT still loves the fnaf fan base, since after so many years, he is back again...
Hi
fan base is the only thing holding this thing together at this point
I listened to the song again after I saw this and it is so true. We need a good send off to fnaf and it hurts me to say that but fnaf isn’t getting better
As someone that's never been remotely interested in the FNAF series, Security Breach actually garnered some interest from me. I think their shift, while it may not be what existing fans want, has probably succeeded at broadening interest.
To be honest, this is also the first time I'm hearing about Security Breach being considered a failure, which is interesting to me. I'm not connected to the fandom, so it's not very surprising.
It’s not scott anymore. The fnaf is going another way. Since Fnaf8 there is another story, another gameplay, another everything connected with old series. I think the way to add something REALLY NEW instead of making something “new” just to explain old (fnaf5) will make the story better, this way will lead to the future, good and gold but ANOTHER fnaf.
This song is officially 1 years old. Time flies man, time flies..
Its sad but true i just got done listening to all the songs in a row

Can I just talk about how FNAF was the only game that I couldn't/can't let go? This game brought me happiness, introduced me to a whole bunch of youtubers and made me meet new people and artists I probably would have never seen/met before. I even met my best friend thanks to sister location. It pains me to see this game finally be over with, this era of FNAF done. This game was the best game out there for me. I know this community had its moments but doesn't every community have those moments? I wish this game could stay alive but sadly not everything is like that. Things must come to an end eventually. I'm glad TLT made songs that I could look back to and think about all the good times I've had in this community. I can't believe it's been 8 years since the first FNAF game came out. And TLT was the first to make a song about it. Must be real special.. but I bid farewell to the actual canon games.
Have a good year y'all
I agree
The throwback to the song that began this wonderful timeline of music dedicated to this franchise hits so differently. I remember sitting on the bus when I was younger, blasting FNAF fan songs through my headphones while staring out the window, making up my own little scenarios. Now it has been a month since I graduated high-school…this game and the fandom alongside it truly has made the most memorable moments within my life 🤎

This really makes me think about the fact that I actually grew up listening to TLT and on the FNAF franchise. I went from being terrified at 13 sleeping in my sisters room to playing it on VR and PS5 laughing my ass off from the excitement. This horror franchise will forever have a place in my heart and I really hope they find some kind of way to continue it. I would love to see it recreated or something. But for now, I guess this is goodbye Fnaf. From the age of I believe I was 10, up until now, the age of 17…you have brought me so much terror yet so much joy. You truly are a masterpiece. 🥹

"How long do we have to try?" This lyric literally shows how they are giving up slowly. How they may loose to william, and let him live up to his selfish goals. The song is uplifting and shows meaning. It's beautiful. Hope is something they had little of to begin with, after being burnt and thrown to the side, showing those poor souls trapped on earth. I can't get over fnaf. It's amazingly twisted in its own way, throwing murder and mystery together. It's truly amazing.
I think their souls were once freed already, but they all decided to come back because they wanted revenge.
I also think it has a second meaning for the community. Like, look at the part with the classic animatronics, . That's a direct reference to the community as a whole. We've reached that point where a lot of people in the community find it hard to stay a part of it, missing how it was when it was smaller, and hate what it's become. It's at that point where it will either eat itself apart or emerge better than before. I just hope it's the former option.
It’s actually “how long do we have to try?”

Não tô entendendo nada kkkkkkkkk
It might be just me pulling this from my own bias, but I love how the entire song (to me) is like a double entendre. Looking at it at a surface level, its about the molten freddy and how you cant hide the old animatronics and the souls inside. Listening to the lyrics a few more times however gives me the sense that its almost talking to the franchise. It was blinded by stardom, they poured salt into the open wounds of the fans, they think theyre alone but the love and original pull of the games are always there. They gave wisdom for the new game and it just fell short. Idk, it feels really poetic and meaningful (':
I couldn’t agree less than I already do.
@@megalo_64 why?
yess you get it! the blinded by stardom line feels in some way out of place with the more surface level meaning but applying it to the scope of the franchise changes the lyrics completely!!! especially with the "but you set fire to the kingdom,
burn it all until it melts"
im not at all bashing steel wool, but i dont think anyone can deny sb just didnt have that same nostalgia value as the previous games. its pretty neat as a standalone but its so out of place story and genre wise :') this songs a blast and it has a finality to it thats honestly just. satisfying. an end to an era sorta
the animators did an awesome job as well, the visuals are stunning!
I can't help but agree with this because the series started as a hail mary game for Scott, and then it turned into this franchise that lost the original charm.
THIS, THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT MY THOUGHTS ON THE SONG ARE

Thats what I was thinking. It's actually so cool!
The pixel font for the lyrics is the same too
I thought it was just a reference to the fnaf 1 song's "We're waiting every night"
Also the first fnaf song actor was singing
At the start of 1:30 Gregory's expression was scared. As soon as they said "You think that you're alone, but we are waiting for you every night" he finally realized he wasn't the only one being tortured and his opened extremely wider to help us experience his horrified realisation. If he had seen The Blob before any of the hallucinations from THE DISKS OF SL, he wouldn't have been able to understand what was happening. In this song, Gregory is shown EVERYTHING we can tell him, and he is horrified.
