Just trade your 2021 or 2022 in you’d pay about the same just to buy all the updated fairing and stuff with tax. You get your tax back on traded bikes, at least my local motorcycle dealer does that so you only have to pay the difference, tax would mostly be covered from the trade in and most cost
I would say start on a 650. A 125 would work but in my opinion would become boring very quick. 650 is a good starting point because it’s very manageable good seating position and once you are comfortable has some decent power to keep you occupied for a while. I started on a ninja 650 and really enjoy it but after a few years I’m pretty bored with it and looking for another.

2021 and 2022 KRT Edition is and always will be my favorite color way. GTFO with that 2023 color scheme. It looks 👀 like an after thought 💭 just to change it up for the 2023 model year! Your bike is so much better looking then that 2023. I would be pissed 😤 if I waited and that was the big reveal! BTW I own a 2023 ZX6R which is the same color as the 2022 model. The Metallic Matte Graphenesteel Gray/Metallic Diablo Black.

ABS doesn't come standard with zx10r right? You have to buy ABS-specific model which is $1000 more.

If you want a bike for A1(16 yo), I recommend trying one of these: Yamaha yzf r125/KTM duke 125 or Honda cb125r!
