I painted mine without disassembling it I found the trick to a good paint job is a good primer and patience in the drying process I used gold spray paint with a dry brush ended up with a brass effect I’ve painted a couple of Mando blasters fun little project
I really like how it came out and have plans to build another using the Hasbro one I have that is missing the stock ... I am excited about that one too! I appreciate the comments ... thank you so much sir!!
You underestimate your audience! I watched 6 Million Dollar Man with my family growing up! I started saying it with you!! Great job on the Blaster too BTW! Inspired me to get back to work on mine!
I used to use the spinning blade of death until I discovered that dremel fiberglass reinforced cutting wheels to a good job and are slightly less dangerous. Wear goggles no matter what though, they can break.
That really turned into an awesome looking prop. I always wonder why they give the toys such stupid colors, when I was a kid I had a Tommy Gun that looked authentic.....if it had stupid colors I wouldn't have wanted the thing. Thanks for video!
I could not agree more! I assume it was after kids got into trouble with "real-looking guns" and they decided all toy weapons should be super colorful and obvious!
@@trytofinishsomething Maybe I should do one as well...? I did a Han Solo Blaster recently have look and let me know what do you think. If you have the time for it. Best wishes
This was awesome! Ya wanna make me one? hahaha and yes I did get the "Million Dollar Man" reference, I am old enough to have watch some of those shows.. lol
Looks great. My only concern was how flimsy is the connection to the wood stock with that plastic? I'm sure for display it would be fine but it looks like it flexes quite a bit when you move it around.
Yeah ... I wound up (after) taking a piece of 1/8 inch x 1/2 inch flat steel and cut into where the chamber of the gun is and all the way under the grip and I put a few Allen screws and nuts through the plastic part of the grip is and it is much sturdier now!

Ohhh good idea! I did something a little similar with my Andor blaster! I would love to see some pictures!
I don’t do electronic media wouldn’t know how to send them thanks for your interest though
That too bad I always enjoy seeing how other people finish products and sharing ideas!
This is the best blaster build i have ever seen!

Wow! So impressive.. your making me want to start building my own blasters ! Stop putting ideas in my head
It was a lot of fun ... I have another of these and I will try and make it more "accurate"!
I'm hearing the Six Million Dollar Man theme, so thanks for that.
Wow. Hard to believe that it was once that green plastic toy! Very cool.
And today, 6mil wouldn't even get poor Col. Austin a bionic pinkie.
Hahahaha! No kidding!!
Love this! Man, I have an OLD ee-3 that used to belong to my now 23 year old that I've just held onto. I may do something similar!
You better send me a picture when you do!
Wow! That blaster looks awesome! Really good job on the weathering as well!
That is high praise from one of the masters!!! Thanks!
That is Awesome build!💥👏🏿👏🏿😁👍🏿
Thank you ... Thank you! Stilll have to build my "accurate" one too!
Looks great buddy, nice build video!
Thank you sir! Enjoy your birthday, but still waiting for your gun rack!!

I am glad I wasn't so alone out there!! Thank you!!
Looks awesome. I think I need to try to finish some of my projects too lol
Dear God I know the feeling!!
Looks great. I think the styrene wrap you added will help keep it firmly attached. The weathering and paint is rad.
Thank you! Sometimes I feel like I make stuff ... JUST so I can paint it!!
2:36 Robocop referance
I got that million dollar man reference!

I haven't heard of those! I will have to check that out ... these blades if you go too high on the RPMs have a tendency to break and go flying off!!!

Just found this channel. Awesome work! BTW, I got the Steve Austin reference one of my favorite shows as a kid. (I am also creeping up on 50...lol)
Hahaha! Glad to have you and hope there is plenty to keep you!! Thank you!
Great job
Thanks Chris!
This looks superb! I see you made good use of the Rub'n'buff also, not sure if you had used it before or not.
Probably not on the channel, but I LOVE Rub’n’buff!! Thank you Nick!
Nice work Shawn! I may have to pick up one of those blasters for myself!! And of course do my own mod. Very cool!
Crap ... I want to make another ... I better hurry up and buy it! Thanks Tony!!

Thank God!!! Sometimes I feel like I am out on this island alone! It's what you get when you were raised by TV!!!

Lots of us are old enough to remember the 6 million dollar man. When will the next competition be announced? or did I miss a video somewhere?
Nothing planned yet, but there will be one for sure!
I got the 6 million dolar man reference...
THANK YOU!!
