i genuinely sobbed during this video. feeling worthless, like garbage, hating yourself, acting out, and just wanting to leave, those are things that are all too familiar to me. I felt Matt's pain and it amplified, seeing him breakdown made me feel his hatred and anger and sadness. honestly i don't give two shits about MSA but i am truly thankful for the ending. I really thought they were going to continue to treat Matt like an unhinged jerk undeserving of love and I'm so happy to be proven wrong.

I had to pause so I could regain my composure and remind myself that this is an animated story. I strongly feel the abuser should be held accountable for the abuse by law and pay for moral damages. Sorry for the long comment, but I got to see what childhood trauma can do to a boy, how it can change him into a man suffering from narcissistic personality disorder. Every time I remember my heart breaks because I also remember I can't help him since this condition is irreversible and extremely difficult to treat. 🥺

This is probably one of the only storis where the antagonist had a properly fleshed out story and motive that actually made sense, that addressed deeper topics like toxic family relationship, and had a protagonist that isn't "perfect" like every other story. Props to them I guess.
Finally a My story animated were they address the bad parenting and fix it/ acknowledge what they did do one of their children and help instead of letting them get insaner and insaner and refusing to help them/ saying they were born like that
This animated story is actually horrible. Like the gamer girls story line has absolutely NOTHING to do with the plot. The plot is a parents failure and a brothers gradual descent into psychotic behavior and the girl is worried about her gaming system and following. They could have titled it, "my parent love me more and now my brother hates me" and it would be fine. Well not fine. Still bad story.
