I was a independent for Biden in 2020 and wanted to be able to vote in the primary so switch to Democrat this year. I don't feel like there really is a need to be independent anymore. Republicans platform scares me. Hubby is still independent but will be voting blue all the way again. We also live in a swing state. Give us independents some credit! We see what is going on.

My 15 yr old explained project 2025 to his republican grandparents and told them if Trump wins we’re all screwed. They told him they’d never heard of it. I hope he told them to google it.
He actually did really well. Tough questions with detailed answers. Even with follow-up questions. I know the bar for Biden is really low, especially after the debate, but this is a solid press conference performance for any president.
As cringe as his two gaffs were, I was very impressed when he went on and on about foreign policy strategy. Overall I think he did a pretty good job. My faith in Biden has been restored significantly and I feel kind of bad I doubted him. I feel much more at ease if he stays in the race now. I still need to see more of this though before I’m sure they shouldn’t find another candidate.
The fact remains that DJT could win the election in November no matter who is his opponent. The determinant will be how many of us turn out to VOTE for DJT's opponent, whoever they are. I have reached the point where I can no longer support President Biden..he has done fantastic things in his 50-plus years of service to the United States of America but he is older slower and doesn't have the mental capacity anymore to lead the greatest nation in the world... all you have to think about is your elders in your immediate family and then you will understand the gravity that we face in keeping our president in office simply because we see him as the only option....some of you see or "dear leader" who has to be protected....or he deserves another chance.... I'm sorry but he does not deserve anything....he willingly signed up for this job and he's done a fantastic job but now it's time to look elsewhere for someone to lead our party- the Democratic Party and I think the choice is Right smack in front of us and that is the Vice President Kamala Harris... I firmly believe if Joe Biden and company stand behind her that she has the capacity to beat Donald Trump because there will be a very very very very very clear choice... but you all keep burying your heads and willfully and ignorantly keep telling yourself "there's nothing to see here Move Along" then I feel sad that you have allowed your fear to overcome the reality of where we are at...it will not get better.... President Biden, the Biden family and the handlers got us into this terrible terrible mess and it is up to him and them to get us out of it....to finally acknowledge the huge huge elephant in the room!

As cringe as his two gaffs were, I was very impressed when he went on and on about foreign policy strategy. Overall I think he did a pretty good job. My faith in Biden has been restored significantly and I feel kind of bad I doubted him. I feel much more at ease if he stays in the race now. I still need to see more of this though before I’m sure they shouldn’t find another candidate.
