Dreambuild I Trek Top Fuel I light Trailbike I Marathonbike

The Trek Top Fuel has long been Trek's only Cross Country Fully. With the introduction of the Supercaliber with 60mm of rear travel, they gave the Top Fuel 115mm of rear travel instead of 100mm. This makes it especially appealing to marathon riders, but it is also a ideal basis for a light and aggressive trail bike. This was exactly the thought when we built this bike. We were surprised by the large tire clearance, see for yourself what we fitted on a rim with 30mm inner width.
Das Trek Top Fuel war lange das einzige Cross Country Fully von Trek. Mit der Einführung des Supercalibers mit 60mm Federweg am Hinterbau spendierten die Amerikaner den Top Fuel nun 115mm statt 100mm etwas Federweg am Hinterbau. Damit spricht es vor allem Marathonfahrer an, jedoch eignet es sich auch bestens als Basis für ein leichtes und bissiges Trailbike. Genau das war der Gedanke beim Aufbau dieses Rades. Überrascht hat uns die große Reifenfreiheit, seht selbst was auf einer Felge mit 30mm Innenweite montiert wurde.

Does the shock come with the frame? Because a sidluxe would have been a better match with the fork, great choice of components anyway! XTR is a very nice group, especially the four-piston brakes

Very nice bike, which provide a very good performance at xc and trail as well. I drive a Top Fuel from 2016 with 120/100mm travel and a weigth of 11kg w/o pedals which is amazing. I think the 2020 model is better at all, but there is no reason for me to buy the new model for not less money. What did you think about it ?
