I appreciate your honesty! I was considering this suite but the uncovered balcony is probably a deal breaker for me. We would love to chill and read books while taking in the views but I burn very easily so I love to have shade. 🙂 Thank you!

Appreciate your feedback - that's a practical consideration (shade or no shade) regarding the suites at the aft of any ship. Happy Sailing!

It really was very spacious & would be a wonderful suite to book for a family or friends who like the idea of having a common living room & veranda. Lots of room to spread out, and it's fun to be at the back (aft) of the ship to watch the ship's wake, and see a wide view of anything nearby. Thanks for watching, Cruising Cathy, and thanks for your feedback.

I've stayed in this suite a several years back. Loved it however I am surprised RC didn't do a refurb when they did the most recent refit. It definitely looks dated now.

The furniture in the staterooms could use an update to keep up with the bright refresh that the common areas of the ship benefit from.

How long do you think the cruiselines can survive on 25% capacity?

Hi Amelia, happily it looks like most of the cruise ships won't have to survive on 25% capacity for long. We're hearing reports from travelers as they get off recent cruises that the capacity has been rising . . . more passengers on board ships the past few weeks compared to late summer and early fall. A number of the cruise lines purposely held sales to low capacity as they returned to service - they really wanted to show that they could do a great job with their health and safety protocols, getting their crews rehired & vaccinated, and welcoming guests back to an excellent experience. As they've done so, they are now raising their target capacity - selling more staterooms per sailing - and seeing increases. Even cruising with 40-70% would be an incredible opportunity for anyone who is ready to start cruising again! It can vary by ship and the exact week someone sails . . I just returned from a fantastic Celebrity Cruise that was about 20% - they are also expecting higher numbers coming up in November & December based on reservations.
