Imho Grasp > Fleet for Smolder since his Q procs Grasp. Also gives you the option to go full bruiser if you want (Heartsteel > Sundered Sky > Titanic Hydra > Warmogs). With the extra HP trading becomes much more easy. Bully your lane and be mostly unkillable due to high HP + E to escape.
In theory you could even go bruiser support (or any other lane) with this build and build your stacks up purely via trading mostly Q for stacks (passive, grasp, heartsteel) and other procs (sundered sky, titanic hydra..).
Maybe give it a try in the next video?^^
lucidity boots, Liandry, Riftmaker, Lich bane, Rabaddon, and Cosmic Drive/Slow mage item that I forgot the name are the best items for him

Hi i play a lot smolder but i struggle for stack good, in archive 150 stack at 20 minute and i guess it's realy bad, have you maybe some advice ?
all games are different, it all goes down to how many 2s can you hit them on lane. If the game is not a kill fiesta, 225 at 25/27 mins is ffine
I recommend you Talking Raptors and Krugs inbetween Waves
Helps out stacking a lot
it is fine. Genrally Smolder stars stacking really fast after 125 stacks so until that point you may feel like you are not doing a good job stacking. Once you get to 125 Smolder starts to stack really really fast in teamfights and his waveclear is even faster too. You can see in the video how stacking to 125 took him as much time as from 125 to 400
Try dark seal second after Doran’s. It will give you ap adaptive and the w then does crazy dmg and keeps you safe till you get enough ad

Whats been super annoying for me. Im about 50% winrate. If i have a bad game for whatever reason everyone tilts off the earth says smolder so useless. And i still end up doing most damage. And the games i do well i feel like i perform well but its still super hard to carry. On top of that ive had 3 junglers openly say in chat they refuse to gank a smolder. Emerald tier at its finest.
Maybe im not getting stacked fast enough. Ive been trying to be a little more aggro with harass in lane - but im now on like a 3 loss streak 😂

What should be the last item?
Options: 1. Titanic Hydra, but it should be built ealier as it applies burn with the damage cone and makes stacking easier before 125 stacks. 2. Rapid Firecannon, bauce it extends the range on Smolders Q. 3. Tank item, most likely Thornmail aginst Aatrox Samira healing. Alternatively Anathemas o reduce Syndras damage without wasting gold on mr.
