Who else has come back after Luke found out after nearly 6 years? 😮🤔 Let’s just say it’s a good job he’s like Ellen’s brother and Jon went to check he calmed down enough to carry on building a Lego car. Oxtra might of been clicked out of existence like Jane did to Andy while playing The Stanley Parable
of course YT recommends this video after this last Show of the Weekend. And how nice that they put Corazon on the shower curtain now where's the rest of the Oxventurers? lmao
As you said, your job isn't an easy one cause a lot more goes into it behind the scenes than most people realise, but it's so contagious seeing how happy and passionate you are about your work! Good on you Ellen, killing it :)
Aaron McDonald I agree. Whilst making videos may seem 'easy' to some, especially if you work in some other industries, it doesn't mean that there isn't hard work or stresses involved. Ellen is clearly passionate and people (including myself) try to return that passion to her for and because of her output
I am deeply upset that i do not have an Ellen . She is so wholesome and sweet. Even a miserable git like me feels joy and happiness seeing her. World needs more Ellens
I think the algorithm suggested this video to me cause you just recently just slipped and told Luke you went to legoland and he basically fell apart emotionally. It's actually impressive it stayed a secret for this long...
You know the "Whole don't tell Luke" thing might not work now. Might to contact Jane, I here she can "Protect secrets and assets by removal of personnel" if you catch my drift
This is a comfort watch for me. If I'm having a sad day I will watch this video and I am going to smile. I love her meltdown in the English language with the pirate curatin... and the inability to find a good camera angle towards the end is just too relatable.
I just found this video five years later after seeing the devastating reaction Luke had when Ellen let slip that she came here. I had to go back and uncover the lore, lol. ;)
My brain is now churning trying to work out the scenario where Ellen or an original character chats with their own duplicates that seem to appear out of nowhere and they're all really nice and friendly to each other.
Serious talk, it's so wonderful that you finally got to go to Legoland and meet an old friend to boot! It must have been one of the best business trips ever! (*Definitely* don't tell Luke that.)
In the past I have worked as an editor, a channel manager, a community manager, a moderator and a occasional collaborator and I cannot agree enough with the sentiments that is not an easy job! There is so much that goes into each video, from planning and theory to shooting, editing and marketing. But more than that your excitement at being in that hotel room is infectious haha. Couldnt stop laughing at it. You even managed to make something as mundane as repositioning your camera entertaining. Thanks for the laughs, kinda needed them today!
Great to see you enjoyed visiting my home country and legoland, I have a lot of happy childhood memories of that place. And seriously YOU GOT THE PIRATE ROOM! The theme rooms usually cost a lot and you got in one of the best of them without paying a penny!
I *loved* this vlog so much - you're so excited!!😂 Your videos are always entertaining Ellen - both here and on OXtra - as your passion and humour always comes across. You're so good at what you do. It's always a pleasure to watch your videos and appreciate all the hard work that goes into them - travel perks definitely well deserved😊
I went to legoland when I was a kid (so early 2000s) and all I remember is a lot of brightly coloured giant Lego, a dragon-rollercoaster, and my father swearing in Norwegian.
You're rambles are the best. Keep up the great work. I'm glad you enjoy your job, despite all the hard work that goes into video production and editing. Also your accent is lovely.
Liked the little song thing at the end. Also, liked the very relaxed nature of this vid. Felt like actually being shown around the place as if i was there
Near an airport and Lego themed hotel? I think I just found my next travel destination! As a fellow 28/29 year old I would be so excited with this room, I still walk by the Lego aisle in the store and want to buy and build the new sets. Only problem is that I don't have room to actually store the finished products.
The beginning of this video got me so pumped for legos. I’m a grown adult and I wanted to get up and get the LEGO bin. It’s so cool that you get to go do things like this for your job. And you bring us the best content while you do it. Don’t tell Luke.
I'm grateful for the wonderful job you do in Oxtra, for all the grins, laughs, funny and informative vids you've done! You always make me feel better and rekindle my love for the games, community and industry. Oh, and if you love rain, please visit Bergen in Norway! We're famousfor the 7 mountains encircling the city, trapping all the rain here 😝 We don't have Legoland, but we DO have...ehm...Hanseatic houses, a famous fish market, and some nice and geeky (smallish) cons. 🙂 Aaanyhoo, thank you again for being. Well, you!
My nephews and I stayed at the Legoland hotel in California and we also had the pirate rooms. It also had the monkey, rat, and spider. It was pretty cool!
I've been to Legoland many times, never been in the hotels though. I live in Denmark and used to have 1 day trips there. I think it's awesome that you went to Legoland Billund! :D Also a big fan of you. :)
Ellen, I want to say thank you. I watch all your videos (+xboxon and outsidextra) When ever I'm sad or down your voice and smile always can put me in a good mood. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. ALSO DO A COZ IZ FRM LAANDAAAN 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bit random, but bloody well done on taking the chance with a youtube channel and it then snow-balling into a presenting career. I'm very, VERY new to Outside Xbox and Outside Xtra, but you can already consider me a fan. I have social anxiety disorder & suffer from depression, and watching your videos (both for OX and your personal ones) really do work wonders at cheering me right up, so THANK YOU and I wish you all the best for 2018, m'dear x
I think its so gr8 for you to have a job where you can travel and see some of the stuff you didn't do as a child and on top of that keep doing what your doing cheers from Denmark :D
Ellen, I loved this video! It always brings a smile to my face seeing you enjoying what you do. You are so funny and obviously having a lot of fun with it! Keep up the good work, hun! x
Hi Ellen! Long time visitor, first time commenter here. I enjoy your videos, they make me happy (and sometimes a little sad...). Keep up the good work! Greetings from the Netherlands
Nice video. I can understand that your job has alot of behind the seen stuff that people don't see or understand, but at the same time must be cool to do the stuff that you are able to do. I wish that I could do what you do. Oh well. As always good videos.
Damn it, I fell asleep before this was uploaded (just spent the day at Brands Hatch, so I was knackered). Glad to see you had a great time, mainly because you make brilliant noises when you're excited. (Don't tell Luke.)
This is great bc I was a Mega Blocks but not of my own volition kid and I'm jealous but vicariously enjoying the room. I wonder if their luggage carts are lego too
I plan to start this new year by subscribing to this channel! Have loved outsidexbox over the last few years so naturally when I stumbled upon the channel of my personal favorite half of the the duo, I naturally was inclined to watch a lot more! :)
i know this video is quite late but omg i love to see people just geek out like this, everyone tries to cover up how nerdy they are great to see awesome video @icklenellierose
2:40 "Well, a double rainbow is a phenomenon of optics that displays a spectrum of light due to the sun shining on droplets of moisture in the atmosphere. does that explain it?" -Lux, league of legends
It was very nice of you to bring back a present for Luke though. Most co workers wouldn't really think of that kind of thing. So you guys are a great team.
Gotta say, they have really nice rooms in legoland! And nearly perfect lighting for free? Double rainbow? A pi-rat? Yeah, this looked like an awesome day, hope you enjoyed yourself!
After a long day and a Monday on the horizon, seeing you in Legoland is a welcome way to bring the day to an end! Be sure to destroy all of Luke's devices he may use for social media stuffs. Leave no trace.
The lighting really is good at the end of the video... I have to say its the first time your eye color was standing out (in a good way) that much - or I just didn't pay that much attention on them so far... Have to admit, I also never was to legoland, and I don't know if I ever go there, but at least I will go to Disneyland (Paris) at the end of the month for the first time. But thats pretty expensive as well.
Ellen, you're so deserving of this mad sort of job. You're brilliant! Smart, hilarious and talented. I love your videos, you do good work. Also I'm mad jealous of your lego monkey which I assume you accidentally dropped in your suitcase on the way out and would definitely post back but postage is so expensive these days so....
My brother and his family have been to the Legoland hotel in Windsor a few times outside of the park on season, which is a lot cheaper...and it is still a lifetimes with of Lego...in a hotel. Well, they enjoy it.
So I went backwards. A friend made me watch an outside xtra, then while going back through the videos I came across comments wondering who the new people were. This led to finding outside xbox. (you're all amazing btw) I only found this channel because I've been stuck in bed with a cold for days. I have to say you're incredibly entertaining even without Luke for a foil. It might just be the sinus meds talking but right now I'm fairly certain the best thing I've ever seen on RUclips is your video on how to be a vlogging superstar. Anyway this is getting long. Thank you for making me laugh while I'm stuck in bed and being a funny person with actual thought out opinions.
I would in no way be surprised if they made that spider the night before you arrived because the staffers are OX fans and knew it would get a reaction. And to that I say, "boooo, hotel staff!!! More pirate rats, less 8-legged freaks!".
I really love how the first three minutes of this video is just Ellen being like "Look at this cool thing. And this cool thing. And this. And this...."
Oh hiiiiiiiiii.
icklenellierose oh hi
Erm doesn't that shower pirate look like Andy?!
bring me back a death star please :P
Well, I can think of no better reason to stay up
DONT TELL LUKE ♡
Who else has come back after Luke found out after nearly 6 years? 😮🤔 Let’s just say it’s a good job he’s like Ellen’s brother and Jon went to check he calmed down enough to carry on building a Lego car. Oxtra might of been clicked out of existence like Jane did to Andy while playing The Stanley Parable
Didn't get the joke so came to see what it was about 😂
The algorithm put this in my recommendations after the great Oxtra betrayal.
Same 😄
Don't tell Luke.
Sovash Chetty Dammit! You beat me to it 😁
Sovash Chetty yea
Well... This is awkward...
Lol
I think someone told him already
of course YT recommends this video after this last Show of the Weekend.
And how nice that they put Corazon on the shower curtain now where's the rest of the Oxventurers? lmao

Random Username for Chris yeah mate exactly, a lot of scripting, many takes and editing. You've got to have the patience of a saint
Aaron McDonald and people with the world's most raging libido saying "your hot af" (if you so dare happen to be an attractive person)
[Grammatical error semi-deliberate - and also, just realised]
Agreed. Honestly it looks fifty times harder than my job (scripting and editing alone would baffle me), but also a million times more fun.
Watching this again in honour of having Told Luke
I am deeply upset that i do not have an Ellen . She is so wholesome and sweet. Even a miserable git like me feels joy and happiness seeing her. World needs more Ellens
Oh no. Luke has been told
1:16 Corazon, old boy
I think the algorithm suggested this video to me cause you just recently just slipped and told Luke you went to legoland and he basically fell apart emotionally. It's actually impressive it stayed a secret for this long...
So when you turn on the shower do blue Lego bricks come out of it?
No, that only happens in Lego prison.
Double the pain Ya see, once for the head on the way down, and more as you step on them at the bottom.
Oh sweet. A nightmare I never imagined but now can't forget.
Yiks that would hurt lol
Everything is awesome... Oh dear god the pain!!!
Don't worry Ellen, the only way a Lego spider could hurt you is if you step on it.
Or swallow one of the bits!
Don't tell luke
Don't tell luke
Does Luke have a channel?
Akmal Ibrahim yeah, it's called donttellluke
Andy would be so jealous of that sweet room
Particularly the Corazon shower curtain :D
1:19 hey it’s Corazön de Ballena
Oh no, someone told Luke.
You know the "Whole don't tell Luke" thing might not work now.
Might to contact Jane, I here she can "Protect secrets and assets by removal of personnel" if you catch my drift

The lighting made your eyes incredibly striking.
My brain is now churning trying to work out the scenario where Ellen or an original character chats with their own duplicates that seem to appear out of nowhere and they're all really nice and friendly to each other.
RUclips recommended this video to me after seeing you drop the bomb on Luke.
Thanks!
Serious talk, it's so wonderful that you finally got to go to Legoland and meet an old friend to boot! It must have been one of the best business trips ever! (*Definitely* don't tell Luke that.)
This was an especially great vlog.
Huge fan Ellen!!!! Love the hair color and eyes so beautiful!!! Plus you're so excited and adorable and innocent!! Thanks for the laughs!!
Ellen is an adorable little angel. I loved hearing the excitement in her voice in this vlog.
In the past I have worked as an editor, a channel manager, a community manager, a moderator and a occasional collaborator and I cannot agree enough with the sentiments that is not an easy job! There is so much that goes into each video, from planning and theory to shooting, editing and marketing.

It’s always sunny in Philadelphia? Cool.
It’s double rainbowing in Elle’s Land! 2:28
Saw a double rainbow the other day, and it reminded me of you and your work. Thank you for all that you and the OX crew do. It make me happy.
I *loved* this vlog so much - you're so excited!!😂 Your videos are always entertaining Ellen - both here and on OXtra - as your passion and humour always comes across. You're so good at what you do. Love the three minute intro, and the one minute outro. Fatigue + happy Ellen = LOVELY!
Ooh very nice to see a snapshot of what you've been up to! And yeah, Legoland tickets are not to be taken lightly... glad you got to go!
Been to legoland windsor twice as a child my favourite trips ever. Love the lego games so much. Love you on outside xtra
Near an airport and Lego themed hotel? I think I just found my next travel destination!
As a fellow 28/29 year old I would be so excited with this room, I still walk by the Lego aisle in the store and want to buy and build the new sets. Only problem is that I don't have room to actually store the finished products.
As the great Bill Bailey taught us, tea and coffee making facilities are very important indeed.
The beginning of this video got me so pumped for legos. I’m a grown adult and I wanted to get up and get the LEGO bin.
It’s so cool that you get to go do things like this for your job. And you bring us the best content while you do it.

Thanks for a new video and I really appreciate your work for Outside Xtra!
This video contained absolutely nothing and I loved it.
(P.S. your eye colour is beautiful)
FrodoTheDodo her hair is also great IMHO.
ELLEN, I hope you are ready for this blow up after what you've done! Hi again after 5 years!
I think its so gr8 for you to have a job where you can travel and see some of the stuff you didn't do as a child and on top of that keep doing what your doing cheers from Denmark :D
you can feel the excitement from ellen's voice lol

Hi Ellen!
Long time visitor, first time commenter here. I enjoy your videos, they make me happy (and sometimes a little sad...). Keep up the good work!
Greetings from the Netherlands
Really nice seeing you so happy Ellen. It's like 1 in the morning right now but I had to watch. Anyway glad that you enjoyed yourself!!

You appreciate us Ellen we appreciate you simple as. You do a great job making everybody smile so definitely keep it up!
Lucky you, that room did look good. I loved the shower curtain pirate. Hope you had a great time :)
This is great bc I was a Mega Blocks but not of my own volition kid and I'm jealous but vicariously enjoying the room. I wonder if their luggage carts are lego too
Happy Ellen is so cheering me up right now. Keep up the good work

There's a lot Ellens in this room. Plus the double rainbow... Are you sure you didn't trip into a multiverse-portal?
Into the Ellen-Verse.
This is my favorite icklenellierose vlog to date. Enjoying the stream of conscience feel. You and every member of the OX team have such a cool job.
"Press like, if you want"...like THAT'S AN OPTION!!! As always, your homey, self aware style is truly charming.
2:40 Double rainbow probably means the universe is happy you visited LegoLand.
i know this video is quite late but omg i love to see people just geek out like this, everyone tries to cover up how nerdy they are great to see awesome video @icklenellierose
You are so fun to watch! Keep up the great vids!
Two things
A lego carpet, that's gonna hurt
Don't tell Luke
Little pirate rat? You could almost say it's a... Pi-RAT??!
Mmmmm..... Rat Pie.
2:40 "Well, a double rainbow is a phenomenon of optics that displays a spectrum of light due to the sun shining on droplets of moisture in the atmosphere. does that explain it?" -Lux, league of legends

So whens part 3 of KoA?
Andy: "What's this 'Kingdoms of Amalur'? I've never heard of it?"
Luke: "I remember a time when I'd never heard of it..."
LUKE KNOWS
Poor Luke, hope he gets to go to a dinosaur legoland in the future.
After a long day and a Monday on the horizon, seeing you in Legoland is a welcome way to bring the day to an end! Be sure to destroy all of Luke's devices he may use for social media stuffs. Leave no trace.
Very jealous right now (love lego), but can't think of anyone who deserves it more. Keep up the great work Ellen.
yayaya the ellen! you have best job ever! glad you had fun in lego land and your still adorable.
You’re so silly I love it. Really brightens up my day :)
The lighting really is good at the end of the video... I have to say its the first time your eye color was standing out (in a good way) that much - or I just didn't pay that much attention on them so far...

Yaaaaaaay the diffraction of white light in the moisture in the air
That escalation. Pirate Lego was my jam as a kid, the jealousy--- Oh a double Rainbow! -_-
My brother and his family have been to the Legoland hotel in Windsor a few times outside of the park on season, which is a lot cheaper...and it is still a lifetimes with of Lego...in a hotel. Well, they enjoy it.
Hope U had a grate time in Denmark I would like to see more of this on your channel often.

I haven't watched a INR video for a few years but watched this and am still in love with her.
LOL, this showed up for me after I watched her 'reveal' in OXBOX. Rare case of algorythm working as intended
Denmark is _very_ rainy, and I love it!!!
dont tell luke lol
What a awesome room my inner kid is in heaven though the outer man secretly also want to go keep up the great work
I like how half the video is you trying to set up the camera for us to see you better ;) Loved it!
That's one amazing work trip. Cool vlog as well. And one of the jobs ever.
(Wow, my phone wants to change vlog to blog. That's bad.)
I just found out about Outside Xtra, and fell in love with the channel! Now I an obsessed with you (ps don't tell everyone else)
#DontTellLuke
I went to a Legoland in Melbourne, it was awesome but unfortunately expensive. I also saw a lego Millenium Falcon that was over $1000
I would in no way be surprised if they made that spider the night before you arrived because the staffers are OX fans and knew it would get a reaction. And to that I say, "boooo, hotel staff!!! More pirate rats, less 8-legged freaks!".
