Funny how jugs with a juggernaut relic he heals they should do something like that with hulk because they're basically the same champ, big tanks that can't take damage but do a lot of it
Science is definitely a stacked class but Luke cage is my favorite 7 star science. He just completely shuts down the toughest defenders in the game. He is my favorite counter to serpent because he counters his power gain and the concussion usually shuts down the unblockable specials and his immortality. Plus he has the sunder to counter the high crit resistance. He can easily take bullseye because Luke is bleed immune and the exhaustion debuffs counter all the crit damage. He can tank photons unblockable specials with his indestructible. He has quick and easy access to debilitate to help with enchantress. Best counter in the game to Sasquatch as he can’t gain charges and go into wrath phase. Completely shuts down the root mechanic of kindred. Just my opinion but I think being able to effectively fight the toughest defenders in the game and counter what they do should deserve a spot on this list.
Top Science champs based on my opinion Top 3 6* limited champs 1. Scorpion 2. Human Torch 3. Red Guardian Top 5 7* Science champs 1. Spider-Ham- my 2nd ever r3 for Valiant and use my r2 6* Ant-Man with Spite Stinger for the small taunt 2. Photon- Annoying defender that can literally KO you through the block 3. Hulk- Just big damage ad really good attacker for next couple of BG seasons 4. The Overseer- Really fun attacker that relies on buffs instead of passives with immunities preventing his buffs from being removed by any other means except naturally expiring 5. Silk- Solid attacker that can evade any special no matter how impossible it is to dex normally with huge bursts of physical damage.
As someone who has R3 Hulk awakened (soon to be sig 100), he's definitely my top 1 champ. He is very underrated on defense (which I like since people tend to mess up when they underestimate him and get caught off guard). On attack, he absolutely destroys everything in any game mode. Finish fights within 20-30sec in battlegrounds. Close 2nd to Hulk would be Spider-Ham who I have the same love for as you have with Spot. I know everything about Spider-Ham just like you know everything about Spot. 😅 After Spider-Ham, I'd put Photon. I also have her at near sig 100 as R3. Does very well on both attack and defense (one of the best if not the best dual threat champ in the game).
i love him too. altho only have him at rank 2 unawakened. i have silk at the same level and have been using her a lot more, even without the utility from her sig ability. the most amazing thing about hulk is that he can do a lot of damage real fast, and has the rare degen resistence. plus hulk is also a pretty scary defender purely because of that unstoppable and the scary long stun on sp1.
I have all 3 as 6 stars BUT I only have photon ranked up. Spot and spider ham are unduped and still sitting at r1 or r2. So my initial thought was.... Spider ham can be substituted (not by many champs but a few) Spot is so cool and ive seen some good damage but isn't an essential piece to a lineup Photon is incredibly unique, arguably the best defender and best attacker of all 3. Can yall sell me spider ham and or spot? Bc I do like both champs but didn't know if I wanted to invest my limited resources.

even in regular content i rarely see people use scorpion with his synergy's. with the scorpion, spiderham and venom trinity he goes absolutely nuts! plus its insane for venom, and a nice extra for spider ham. i use this trinity all the time. and sometimes use the toad synergy if i need it.
I use all 6* Scorpion, Venom and Bullseye! The Venom and Scorpion synergy is awesome! I pile on the Fury's a😂nd watch the damage climb. I am glad Lag mentioned the rupture immunity! A huge plus with rupture being more commonplace these days.

they are both awesome. but honestly silk does rely more on how agressive the opponent is. while red gaurdian relies a lot less on it. but is not as good in really long fights
red guardian is insane and lags is a bg player so it makes sense Red literally takes fights in one sp2 lmao and takes no block damage so ofc he’s gonna put him over silk I fully agree with the ranking he just destroys fights one of the strongest bg characters in the game

Largely agree. Like many others I'd have Silk in the mix as well as Overseer especially at high sig. Personally even tho Spot is a nuke I'd put them both over him because they don't have to rely on AI manipulation. Definitely agree on Titania. The SP3 then heavy spam in the corner always had some risk, but whether its intimidate not working the same or AI issues its frustrating when they just launch a special with all the debuffs on them. Hulk, Ham, and Photon are all really close for me. Scorpion is definitely still number one overall with his combination of damage and utility and that annoying evade on defense
Overseer is a hard doom counter without even tutning off his aura of hazarath. Pretty cool. Taunt on heavy is a great tool. All or nothing is bypassed with a few heavies.
#5 could be a favorite champ placement in the list. I would have went void personally he’s super high health incinerate immune gets damage on the opponent with any debuff that damage can’t be blocked he can’t reverse heal stop evades and dex with synergies he can do a lot of damage as well easy to play and get stronger as the fight goes on. Great Swiss Army knife has been good for defense and long form content

Hot take: QS deserves to be in the top 5. Bro counters unstoppable, evade, miss, power gain, and regen. He deals massive explosion damage with his whiplash, and gets a trauma on special 2, which increases his normal damage, has a pretty reliable debuff pause and on top of all of that isn't as fragile as a 1mm sheet of ice. Not to mention he's a solid defender. Plus, he has a lot of niche uses as well like the majority of his utility being available with his special 1 alone, being immune to the dexterity mastery, and a safety net with his evasion. He's really good and i know he catches a lot of hate because of his animations (which is fine i understand theyre kinda wonky), but I want people to start acknowledging just how much is packed into the champion especially sonce he's been added as a 7*.

torch has also slightly gone down because a lot of champs have high energy resist now. so even if they do energy damage or are mystics. his damage is often reduced because his best newer fights often have energy resistence in their base kit. sinds human torch relies purely on energy damage that affects him a lot.
Scorpion is slow enough for BGs, the most played currently in the game. For endgame players who explore story content 100%. They generally plays only BGs and alliance war, that's the reason scorpion isn't currently best.
He's valuable on a Swiss army roster. He will always have uses. BGS aren't his forte but he can handle speciality nodes as well as an incredible base kit and a list of awesome synergies

I can see Human Torch being released as a 7 star. The Thing is a 7 star so it would make sense to release the rest of the fantastic 4 as 7 stars. He will more than likely be released last for sure.
I absolutely love Spot. His playstyle is really fun and his damage through the high sig ability is just amazing, but I am unable to get him as a 6*. I have to be content with the 5*ascended but that just isn't the same🙁. On the other hand even though I acknowledge Scorpion's utility and his definitely high damage with synergies, I am unable to experience satisfying damage from him on his own and therefore don't like him. Probably skill issue on my part. So I definitely understand the list but I would rank Scorpion differently if it was my list which it is not👍.
I have a duped r3 silk she was my first r3 and it’s my favorite champ this list ruined my day lol. Just to clarify I know it’s his opinion and I’m not mad she got snubbed science class is stacked I just personally think silk is at least top 5.
I've noticed intimidate hasn't been working right. Brought Adam Warlock to the Crucible I think it was the Modok fight and everytime intimidate was up on Modok he would intercept my attacks with either basic attacks or special attacks. It was so annoying. Almost every time. I'm like shouldn't he be blocking?

My relic on Spider Pig is the same as what Lags has and same rank but does less damage. Is that because of champ level? My Pig is 7r2 compared to a 7r3
Maybe silk could go in place of red guardian but as a 6* science champion torch and scorpion stand out above the rest. They’re so powerful we probably will never see a 7* variant of them, silk if there isn’t one already it’s not far away. Even red guardian could get a 7* variant. To me the best 6*s are the ones that will never get a 7* variant.

The title sbould be Lagacy's top 8 science champs. Then nobody could argue otherwise. Top science champs (according to Lag's opinion) is not the same. It implies the ranking is more objective. When Lag said he has a R3 Spot and knows how to use the champ as the reason for his placement, the same could be said as the opposite that Lag does not have R3 Titania, Silk, Overseer, Luke, Joe, etc. and therefore does not have the experience of using these champs at their peak power. I am not saying Lag does not know his stuff. He obviously does and know the game very well. I am simply saying that reasoning is not on equal ground. These are all good champs. We are just splitting hair because we are passion about this game.

Silk is very fast also depending on rank and Relic can do r3 Onslaughts r3 Mangog and others in 30 seconds as long as the A.i plays into your intercepts.😊

Don't make it all about BGs. I am a constant Celestial V guy and I never bothered to rank up that guy. Silk is my top champ.

He is highly biased towards champs he rank up in excitement but too stubborn to admit the mistakes.

Brought Adam Warlock to the Crucible I think it was the Modok fight and everytime intimidate was up on Modok he would intercept my attacks with either basic attacks or special attacks. It was so annoying. Almost every time. I'm like shouldn't he be blocking?

My piggy is crazy, definetly my next r3, have him naturally sig 80 and he cooks on attack and defense
Photon is more difficult that spider Ham is defense but yes ham is more powerful so Fair photon hulk Ham both top 3

I have an r2 silk. I gotta agree with Lags shes good but i think shes number 6 on my 7* list and i think what y'all are missing is that hes doing 3 exclusive 6* and then top 5 7* he said that off the bat.

The pig is the best. In BG’s he nukes, Doom, Kindred,Sassy and so many others in under 40 seconds.
I think Scorpion is just the best science champion for any matchup. He can literally take anyone other than champs who shrug off debuffs.

My relic on Spider Pig is the same as what Lags has and same rank but does less damage. Is that because of champ level? My Pig is 7r2 compared to a 7r3

You have no idea how badly I want a 5 or a 6⭐Scorpion.
Maybe silk could go in place of red guardian but as a 6* science champion torch and scorpion stand out above the rest. They’re so powerful we probably will never see a 7* variant of them, silk if there isn’t one already it’s not far away. Even red guardian could get a 7* variant. To me the best 6*s are the ones that will never get a 7* variant.

You parry with pig a lot so more block prof is nice he doesn’t really need any extra stats for damage

The title sbould be Lagacy's top 8 science champs. Then nobody could argue otherwise.
Top science champs (according to Lag's opinion) is not the same. It implies the ranking is more objective.
When Lag said he has a R3 Spot and knows how to use the champ as the reason for his placement, the same could be said as the opposite that Lag does not have R3 Titania, Silk, Overseer, Luke, Joe, etc. and therefore does not have the experience of using these champs at their peak power.
I am not saying Lag does not know his stuff. He obviously does and know the game very well. I am simply saying that reasoning is not on equal ground.
These are all good champs. We are just splitting hair because we are passion about this game.

Silk is very fast also depending on rank and Relic can do r3 Onslaughts r3 Mangog and others in 30 seconds as long as the A.i plays into your intercepts.😊

Good list but Silk is my favorite and my #1 for 7* and Scorpion like you is my #1 for 6*. I love my rank 3 awakened 7* Silk.
