This PC was absolutely exemplary - i hope he becomes a chief Constable in his career. He is a brilliant role model. Imagine for one second that all police were like him - my god - Uk would be the envy of the world.
Another great video. Definitely keep the voice over. Nice to see a genuine officer. If more officers had some humility like this guy, public perception would be much better.
The officer did say that he was recording when he first approached you DJ. Respect to the security staff and also the police officer. Refreshing to see and hear these guys acting with professionalism...makes a massive change. Great vid DJ 👍
Great staff, sensible for them to show you around without any hassle. The Constable did tell you he was recording, which was a pleasant surprise. It's amazing that you don't tell the people who keep interrupting you while flying, that they are committing an offence, as you are so clued up on things. The constable was also polite and happy to be schooled, another breath of fresh air. Nice one DJ
I love the talk over on the drone footage as it makes it feel like we are there with you. Its also good to hear your thought process and what you're looking at too.
Possibly the most pleasant, professional police officer ever. A credit to the force. Actually took the time to check on the legislation rather then just trying to enforce a law he didn’t understand. This gives me a glimmer of hope for the rest of them.
Keep the voice over. Mate. And kudos to the people of Stoke-on-Trent! I'm a Manc but I commute to Stoke three days a week and, honestly, the people are literally the friendliest I have ever met. Speaking as an outsider who has a lot of experience of the city, the reaction of the security staff and the police officer is exactly what Stokies are like.
That police officer was polite and friendly and curious and got all the information he needed to know that you were within the law, when he meets people who are actually breaking the law he will quietly talk them into admitting their crimes. I hope he goes places. How do you get to the canal?
This police officer is how all police officers should approach a member of the public, he did everything right gave his name said he was recording was completely polite throughout. What a diamond of a bloke wish him all the best in his career.
I think that's the first ever audit I saw where both the security man and police officer were human and just normal in their interaction. However if they are all finally acting in a proper manner with public auditors then content will still remain watchable. Well done another good audit :)
I'd be way more inclined to call the police and leave a positive compliment with officers like that. Please share their coller numbers when you can. We shouldn't just shun the bad ones. The good ones need praise. And raise ££
As I'm happy to castigate officers who abuse their position, I feel obliged to congratulate this officer on his demeanour, attitude and ability to listen and therefore learn. Absolutely brilliant honest policing with ego absent and open to learn.
26:35 The constable is breaking section 240 of the Air Navigation Order 2016. He can make his presence known, but must keep any interference to a minimum. He can't know if the drone has any autonomous functionality so interrupting a pilot could endanger the public if the drone fell out of the sky because the pilot lost control. Also, he can't order the drone down (section 163 doesn't apply to drones) so will have to wait till the battery runs down and the drone lands. Tough luck if it takes up to 20-30 mins.
It's a good job he did exactly what you mentioned. He made his presence known and kept his interference to minimal verbal. He didn't ask for the drone to be landed at anytime either. This cop was a refreshing change from most. Willing to listen and be educated on parts he admitted he didn't fully know. And apologies too.
@@hazyblue69 He was very good. But the fact that DJ hadn't heard what he said about his BWV being on at the very start because DJ was concentrating does show why section 240 was breached. See 30:40.
@@TheSadButMadLad If DJ was concentrating as you said and failed to hear the constable mention the BMV then he obviously wasn't disturbed enough for there to have been a breach of section 240. The constable was neither reckless or negligent in his interactions with DJ.
@@hazyblue69 I take your point. But that's DJ who is experienced. Another less experienced pilot might have been distracted by the approach and lost control of their drone. That's the point of s240, it's to cover eventualities.
I had to watch this video twice just to make sure that I saw 1st time how professional and polite that policeman , and yes my eyes and ears didn't let me down. What a credit to the force he was...
Refreahing to see a constable who knew how to engage in a professional manner, willing to listen to you and conduct a balanced conversation. He would make agood training officer I would imagine.
I must admit, I prefer you talking rather than the music. Showing both camera views was brilliant. 43:34 I wonder that building to the top left has anything to do with the listed building. Looks like the same colour brickwork. Another great video, DJ. Thanks
👍 up to the pc and the bet 365 guys But come on bet 365 listed building on your property ,make a path (fenced if needed ) so the public can see it ,it not going to make to much of a dent in your profits to do so
What a fantastic attitude and approachable policeman (clearly informing you of camera use), and great of security to give you time and escort you to roundhouse without any unnecessary hassle. It was the protest outside the recycle centre/landfill site where you met other police from Hanley station, DJ, I think. Great video!
Hands down the best police interaction ever. I hope this copper sees this and all the positive comments he’s getting. Mind you this is what the basic level should be and we really shouldn’t be surprised when it happens but unfortunately due to the bad apples and all that.
The guys that approached you were so professional. Loving the fact that you’re starting to get recognised on a regular basis. Cracks me up 👌🏼 Also this video goes to show that there’s a LOT of profit in betting. Don’t do it guys - there’s only one winner. The listed building was fab to see also 👍🏼 Joshua 🤦🏻♂️ DOH
All in all, a good Audit, security were OK, and the police man pretty up front about his knowledge, and happy to listen, so it seemed. Nice to see so many solar panels on the roof of the Bet365 building.
Another good audit DJ, well done. Well done too to the security guys and copper, all reasonable and professional in their dealings with you. Greetings from Australia.
What a fantastic positive response with the cop and the others. It does make a change from the confrontational jobsworths who know so little but pretend they know so much !
a great audit - regarding the voice over drone vs music, this is a difficult one. I would say the length and nature of this particular audit made it a more relaxed and 'informal' audit video, meaning the narrative over the drone footage was very relaxed and 'chilled out'. I would say for a typical 'standard' / formal audit, the music over the drone footage breaks the video up and lends itself well to the overall video. This gives the viewer time to digest what has been said and seen. Running out of things to say without stating the obvious is also a risk when doing a drone narrative as the scenes often speak for themselves, such as wide panning landscape / horizon shots. The explanation DJ gives in this one really sums up the auditing movement and its goals. Great work DJ.
It is used, but it's a private play area that was put in by bet365 when the building was built - the general public can't just roll up with their own kids and have a go. I imagine if it had been in use at the time, security wouldn't have been as happy to escort him around.
I see John Coates Bentley Bentayga in the car park. All that money and he drives a car that looks like a London taxi 😂. Imagine looking around the Bentley showroom and having your pick but you choose that fugly tank, you can’t buy taste. Well done to security and the cop was good too, he didn’t have an ego. I think you’re getting a bit too famous DJ, they might be acting up for the camera.
Denise Coates the majority shareholder of Bet365 was paid £250m for the year to March 2021 which was down from £421m the year before. So I hope you were concerned about her £171m pay cut when walking around her building ;o)
Now that's a proper policeman. 👌 he should get some likes, more than the bad ones .
That police officer was so professional and it would be better if they were all like this, the public would trust them so much more.
some arejumped up idiots in uniform
some would callthem clowns in uniform and thats polite
Some are gang dressed clowns but he was great, has to he said.
This PC was absolutely exemplary - i hope he becomes a chief Constable in his career. He is a brilliant role model. Imagine for one second that all police were like him - my god - Uk would be the envy of the world.
Seemed like a decent bunch of guys on security, very reasonable, helpful and no ego problems 👍👍👍👍👍 hope they see all the good comments.
Most professional officer I have seen in these videos/audits
This is a perfect example of how audits should go, no ego problems from security or police officer 👍👍👍👍👍
That UK police officer was so professional and sound. I think his conduct was a great example. Good effort dude!
Makes a change to see a trained polite police officer, this is how the interaction should be.
Well done to that policeman. A credit to the force.
Let's put in a positive review for him, he deserves a payrise 👏
Another great video. Definitely keep the voice over.
Nice to see a genuine officer. If more officers had some humility like this guy, public perception would be much better.

Very professional officer 👮♀️and a good audit
That was one of both yours and the police's best interactions ... I wish that cop well and hope he goes a long way.. 10/10 DJ
Another great officer 👮♀️ Brilliant interaction 10/10 Sir
Can we clone that policeman?
Sell him to all the other constabularys as a mrk of how to police by consent.
Well done DJ.
Ladies and gents, could it be that the good work done by DJ and the "respectful" auditors is starting to filter through? This was refreshing.
Nice of that guy understanding the power of a camera... taking advantage of a good PR moment.
I love the talk over on the drone footage as it makes it feel like we are there with you. Its also good to hear your thought process and what you're looking at too.
An enormous building dedicated to so many broken dreams.
Possibly the most pleasant, professional police officer ever. A credit to the force. Actually took the time to check on the legislation rather then just trying to enforce a law he didn’t understand. This gives me a glimmer of hope for the rest of them.
A cop that admits he does not know everything⁉️ * faints * This cop needs to be cloned‼️😀
Double thumbs up for this officer 👍👍 Another great video by Dj

First question out of the guys mouth after telling you he was recording was to ask the weight of the drone, pretty impressive.
If the policeman-officer is watching: mate, you're a credit to the force, and humanity. Proper professional.
That police officer was polite and friendly and curious and got all the information he needed to know that you were within the law, when he meets people who are actually breaking the law he will quietly talk them into admitting their crimes. I hope he goes places.

Hey DJ, having your voiceover during the drone footage is very much appreciated and insightful!
Really enjoying your videos again DJ. Now your back on your own. 👍
What a top police officer he was it’s a pity more are not like him .

This officer needs many promotions 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
Definitely keep the voice-over during the drone shots, far more interesting!
Another awesome video.
Thanks for sharing.
Take care,
Steve. 👍👍👊
The people in charge should use people like this to train others how to act great video
I think that's the first ever audit I saw where both the security man and police officer were human and just normal in their interaction. However if they are all finally acting in a proper manner with public auditors then content will still remain watchable. Well done another good audit :)
Great to see decent people
THIS IS HOW IT SHOULD GO OTHER POLICE PERSONNEL SHOULD TAKE NOTES FROM THIS OFFICER FAIRPLAY TO HIM 👏🏽
I'd be way more inclined to call the police and leave a positive compliment with officers like that.
Please share their coller numbers when you can.
We shouldn't just shun the bad ones. The good ones need praise.

A real credit to the police force, polite interaction, he got the information he needed. Checked it and added to his knowledge. Great job officer.
haha love how dg just digs and digs and digs hehehe
Brilliant gaslighting from you about the public access to listed buildings.
As I'm happy to castigate officers who abuse their position, I feel obliged to congratulate this officer on his demeanour, attitude and ability to listen and therefore learn. Absolutely brilliant honest policing with ego absent and open to learn.
at last! a policeman to respect!

Article 240 doesn't apply to UAV's as per Article 23.

Great professional and nice cop. Trustworthy guy too. Hopefully we get more like him.
So very well done for that PC - most professional, polite and respectful.
10 out 10 to everyone you met
What a great copper. He listened and responded politely. Top notch constable.
The best police officer I have ever seen on RUclips.
Talking over is much better, I honestly used to skip the music drone part
A professional police officer, one of the first things he said was he was recording.Respect to him.
credit to the copper a lot of others should take a leaf out of his book
What a decent officer 👍🏻
It makes a change to see a proper Officer.
Yes like the comments on the drone footage.
I must admit, I prefer you talking rather than the music.

They should use this as training video for Police and SIA - spot on
top notch police officer.
At last a decent copper I knew their was one out there 😂
2 in a row Positive audits 👏👏
Still a 99% fail rate haha
What a genuine and professional security guard and police officer, top marks to them both. Ego and power not an issue.
Love seeing police officers willing to learn and not just assuming that they know best. Top bloke
Thanks dj for the great pictures, I prefer commentary when david is up in wild blue yonder cheers bob.
Hands down the best police interaction ever. I hope this copper sees this and all the positive comments he’s getting. Mind you this is what the basic level should be and we really shouldn’t be surprised when it happens but unfortunately due to the bad apples and all that.
my hat off to the officer. so professional

Wat a polite police officer. Doesn’t come across as a bully. On camera tho . Top work DJ x
what a history's beauty and no one can't or see it , till NOW !
I’ve lived in Stoke for 10 years now, and had no idea that was there! Thanks for showing it, oh and the voice overs are much better ;)
Another good audit DJ, well done. Well done too to the security guys and copper, all reasonable and professional in their dealings with you. Greetings from Australia.
Yes I prefer the commentary instead of the music 🎶 , I like that you are picking out what buildings are and what you can see ,thank you 🙏
What a fantastic positive response with the cop and the others. It does make a change from the confrontational jobsworths who know so little but pretend they know so much !
Much prefer the talk over to the music DJ
The commentary over the drone footage is better than music in my opinion
Both cop and security SHINED. Hats off to them :)
Credit where credit is due to Dibble, the country would be a better place if more officers were like this fella.
Brilliant police officer, 10/10
What a pleasure to see a nice officer 👮
DJ great audit, I always enjoy your professional approach...
This in some fantastically informative content, so inquisitive and educative for all parties involved.
I like the commenting during drone shots since it offers your perspective
This officer proves how bad all the others are!
I say chat and drome is best but all good 👍 thanks.
