The minute I saw the thumbnail I started dancing in my chair, going "o, baby Jesse!". I am so very happy that her forever home is at Cog Hill Farm. Couldn't have been a better home for her. Thank you DeJay and Daniel for entrusting this very special girl to Brooke, Jason and Mary Carl.
It had to make parting with Jessie so much easier for DeeJay to bring her to Cog Hill Farm than anywhere else. She's a sweet, special lil donkey and she's just landed herself in paradise where the food and water are plentiful and the love is endless. She'll bring you a lot of happiness, I know.
Thanks for sharing, Jason and Brooke. It's going to be a lot of fun figuring out what critter she winds up bonding with and seeing her grow.

So wonderful to see DeJay and Daniel arrive with Jessie. I know it had to be hard for DeJay to leave her but they picked the perfect home for her. Poor Mildred might be a little hesitant to share Brooke for awhile. She has been moms bottle baby and cuddler since she arrived.
Yep! I can see her now laying on the sofa - in the house - with some sort of "pants" on! LOL! DJ & Daniel took great care of Jesse & loved her dearly! Jesse is now at Cog Hill Heaven! This was such a sweet video! Who'd have thought they would be hugged - literally, by a mini donkey!! ❤

The name Jessi is very special, Jessi is the miracle mini, the Cog family are special and the Arms family are special. All equally special who know how to love on God's lovely creations and are His Stewards caring for His beautiful critters. All have a Heart full of love that is beyond measure. Thank You Lord for blessing us with your loving Servants who give us joy every chance they get (Arms Family, Cog family, Lester & Jami and the Morrow family of Plum Grove Texas)!

Not sure if Mini Donkies are any different, but donkeys make great livestock protectors.

OMG! Jesse is so dang cute, and I dang near cried when she put her head on Brooke's shoulder for a hug. So happy Brooke has finally gotten her mini donkey. So adorable!

Holly and Sunny look like they're having a blast playing together. I think Sunny is really enjoying the company and interaction. Holly is so sweet and just gets along with everyone!
I am pretty sure that was not Sonny. Holly was playing with But You are RIGHT on in her loving playing with Holly most times she just lays around sleeping But Holly had her on her toes today.. LOL I know Bear died I think it is Lady??? But Not sure.. But I know Sonny she stays with Mama Lou now :)

Oh i am so glad!! I have followed Jesse's story from the beginning. When they kept saying she would be leaving the farm i was sad. I couldn't imagine who would take care of her and love her like DeeJay and Daniel. You are the most perfect family for sweet Jesse!!

Jesse was actually hugging Jason's neck and tried to climb into his lap. How precious is that. Donkeys are great livestock guardians.

Jessie is so sweet and affectionate which makes her a perfect fit for Coghill Farm. Mildred towers over her and is inquisitive about her, so for right now that’s scary. But if Mildred takes to her the way she does the goats, they should be good friends shortly. I’m glad you got to make one more dream come true. You’ve been able to make so many dreams come true since moving to the new farm.

Precious to see Jesse adapt to her new home. I've watched her at AFH the whole time. Now that she's by herself it's easier to see how cool she is. When she was with the rest of the herd, it was harder to just focus on her. I think she was a little homesick at first. She's still young. I'm happy for everyone that it has worked out good. DeJay could not have found anyone better than Brooks to take care of Jessie. Brooks will not care that Jessie cannot be breed or might not get as big as other miniature donkeys. That is a whole lot of sweetness and love 💕 in a small package.
