Vittorio and Ollie getting along so good is the sweetest thing❤
Everybody loves ollie haha
No but actually. Love them ❤
Ollie has been charming people left and right throughout the series
The Italians get his humor 😂
My favourite part of the whole video 🙌🏾
This ep taught me the right way to react when someone spontaneously starts singing whilst making eye contact. Ollie seemed to get it right. No one I know has ever known what to do
But this man was also a good singer
Mr. Z has really amped up this series--genius move to have him be a part of it. I feel like we've been able to see behind the curtain!
You know that’s a God of Wine’s house when you find the vines of grapes growing wild alongside your doorstep. **fairytale**
You have to love when someone is so passionate about making something. When I was growing up my neighbors were from Italy and they grew their own grapes and blueberries on their property and made their own wine. Their property was bigger than what that gentleman has where they grew the grapes and blueberry bushes as they had 4.5 acres of land, but they did have a lot of woods surrounding the house/property. They didn't sell the wine either, it was for their house and friends and family. I never had any of the wine because I was underage so I have no idea how good it was. His wife was a very good cook/baker though and I ate there often when I was little. I hope he is sharing his passion with a family member to keep it going. It seems like a nice passion project for any wine lover.
It is so heartwarming of a serie. You NEED to do this in other countries !
Ollie must have come up with that title 😂
It’s a valley, and that guy has live there his entire life…he knows the weather patterns
“in heaven” ollie please 😢😂
Vittorio looks exactly like my image of what dionysus looks like
I love how Mr Z obviously realized he found people who reacted genuinely and abundantly and loved food more than anyone else, so he decided to bring them to places that deserved such great praise that only they could give.
That was beautifully written.
Well said
Beautifully said
Is this a Jolly International Food Trip? Where we go to all the places that they featured and try out all the foods? 👀
That's so true. I didn't know how to put that thought into words. You've written it beautifully
I am impressed how Ollie always is able to make friends with anyone. His personality seems really unique and heartwarming. As always great video.
At the same time, they say that Italians really do love children ;)
ENTPs are wonderful
He asks great questions
I mean, Josh is right about Ollie being an idiot. But he's a loveable idiot, which is why he makes friends so easily.
@@kahnkretefpv7594 calling Ollie an idiot by Josh is an irony because, in retrospect, Ollie is quite a genius
What I got so far from the first 4 minutes: The God of Wine is quite literally a god who can control the weather and just sells wine as a side job lol What a legend!
I don’t think he sells it. It looks like he bestows divine gifts to a few chosen😅😂
He’s pretty much Santa that gifts free wine to people 🤣
Lmfaoo yup pretty much 😂
If you Google his name it pops up right away. He sells his wine online. It's not cheap but I'm sure it's great by how everyone talks about it
I think he is Dionysus in real life just chilling
FINALLY ITS HERE!! This Italy trip has been one of their best Ollie has been completely unhinged and the food has never looked so good. I don’t want this series to end 😭
Lmao facts
YESS I AGREE
you.are.everywhere.
They probably don't want it to either
My favourite part about the Italian people featured here is that Ollie’s humour is not curbed, but accentuated with repartee.
In English, please.
@@enobekuJ jokes told, Italian go haha
@@bustermeme8723 Thank you.
@@bustermeme8723 🤣🤣 well delivered
@@bustermeme8723 Ok now Korean please
Not gonna lie, he seems like a chill dude, exactly what a God of Wine should be like 😎
Exactly! I think if Rick Riordan had to describe what God of Wine would be like and doing on Earth in his Percy Jackson book, this would be it!😁
*Bacchus* for sure !
He’s like a true Bacchus 😅
Knowing Mr. Z has cooked for the queen of England Im not surprised with how extensive his connections are. Glad they really went through with this series! Jolly youve outdone yourself! I mean Jolly is kinda Ollie's playground. His rapport with everyone gives a golden retriever energy. 😂
Jolly is Ollie's playground and KE is Josh's
Golden Doodle energy? Sort of insanely full of energy, happy, and curly. 🥰
Just says something about how much trust he puts in the guys because he's putting his own reputation on the line. If they screw something up big it has big consequences for him
As an introvert, i really wish to have Ollie's skill of connecting with people. He's a natural. He's a pro!
Yes i agree 100%
FOR REAL
truth.
Ollie himself is an introvert... or that's what I read somewhere. I can't remember what it is about but I do remember the conclusion.
Remember folks, being introvert doesnt mean you cant socialize, it just means that after youre done socializing you have to spend some alone time to get that energy back, and when i mean some alone time, I meant ALOT of alone time. Unlike extroverts who gain their energy back by interacting and socializing. So in conclusion, not all introverts are shy and unsociable
He has natural on camera comedic timing and singing, master of wine, this man is Dionysus.
My thoughts exactly!!🙌
Yeap can't convince me he's not secretly a god just living his best life here amongst us mere mortals
Yeahhh literally what i thought earlier haha
Exactly what I thought lol
Omg exactly! So,show this ragtag group of foodies has stumbled upon Dionysus, and he decided that they’re worthy of his goods
As an author, this man literally inspired me as how I would make a modern-day Bacchus, hiding away after the Greek gods disbanded. If you ever read a book and Bacchus is in it as a mysterious old man in Italy who stops rain and gives the world's best wine away for free, chances are that's my book, and you'll know the man who inspired me.
To be honest, the child in me kinda wants to believe he really is Bacchus, hiding away after all these years.
Yes! Because the visitors all seemed to think that everything tasted most true to the gold standard version of whatever it was.
Maybe... Just maybe.... He IS Bacchus.
That seems oddly specific. Joking aside, I'd love to buy a book like that. Maybe an audiobook?
He must be the modern Bacchus
Maaan, Vittorio reminds me so much of my grandad. Passionate to bone about his garden and his trees and his writing, he lamented many times about his body getting tired but his mind still have so many things it wants to do. He passed away last year but his trees and his garden thrives with little help or intervention from us. Miss you Lolo!
Kabayan?
You're lolo from your description sounds so wholesome ❤️.
@@TheKennethfilm Yes kabayan! He was definitely the definition of wholesome to me ❤
Sounds like my father-in-law, we lost him 4 yrs ago😢
he sounded like an amazing person X
Ollie is such a genuine person.... his character transcends all language and culture! That man speaks little English, yet is cracking up at Ollie (as do I), and it's not surprising! This is by far my favorite Jolly series ❤️ Tysm Jolly crew for lifting me up daily and making my heart full. ❤️
Literally everyone that is featured on Jolly is really interesting and special in their own ways!! From Juno to this gentleman, the channel is just bursting with character and charisma.
Couldn’t agree more. I love this series ❤
Everyone is just JOLLY
agreed. everyone has such an interesting character. I can't think of a single guest on Jolly that i like less.
The ‘chicken expert’?
@@christinec4246 o yea lol there's one.
Mr Z must really love Josh and Ollie. He's a celebrity chef and yet he chose these guys to experience what the super rich and super famous couldn't get their hands on. I'm glad I got to know this channel and whoever who's been on it. Every guest, every collaborator, every team member has been a joy to watch. ❤️ from Singapore!
"He said it's raining, wait two minutes."
European logic: Oh, he's probably sitting on the top floor, not in a Fiat Panda, and can see a break in the cloud cover.
Jolly logic: DIVINE AND ANCIENT WEATHER MAGICS.
Fully convinced you guys met Bacchus, the Roman god of wine and he’s just chilling and giving people wine who find him 😂
A nice retirement plan for a god of wine. :)
Absolutely 😂
Holy shit the connections that Mr.Z has. No tour guide would be able to show you all these places.
i dont think tour guides get access to these places :))
I think Vittorio was telling Ollie he was feeling older in hopes of an apprentice. I think Ollie missed a major chance!
Yes!!! Ollie??
I'm really impressed with Ollie's ability to befriend almost anyone he meets! I wish I could be like that too lmao
Okay, but the fact that Ollie found Mr. Z, and then Mr. Z was able to take them to these wild places shows how things can really just fall into place. Really enjoyed this~
Btw it's surprising that he can speak English! I'm Italian and not many people of his age know English so it’s admirable (I guess he did a different job when he was young and must be quite acculturated).
For real that impressed me
Either that or he is a god who has walked this earth for centuries and learned many different languages... I can see it
I saw that one comment from the last episode saying that Ollie is a human version of a Capybara since he can befriend everyone and this statement is proven truer and truer with each episode
is it just me or he's the Santa Claus of wine?
That’s exactly what I said😂😂😂
My boyfriend's grandpa also has Greek wine that they don't sell and give it away to the right people. It is amazing and really nothing that I have tasted before. It is truly unique.
Mr Z is right. It is a crescendo. This is the best episode so far in the series.
God of wine indeed. He could even make it stop raining.
And Ollie really has a knack to get strangers to open up to him. He is so amicable.
I adore how Jolly and KE always manage to bring us to the most unconventional and wholesome places. Thank you for bringing us along!!
To the subtitles people: it's 'lambrusco' not 'L'Abrosco' but you cracked me up so bad when I read the CCs I loved it 🤣
By the way, he didn't say he was going to stop the rain at all, he said to wait a couple of minutes in the car and see what happens - Mr. Z was trolling you HARD, he just looked at the sky and went "yep, might as well break their brains and have them believe this guy's a god who can control the weather" 🤣 I died when Josh's reaction to the translation was "NO HE DIDN'T"
Thank you Mr. Z for taking them around the motherland and being an incurable TROLL ❤🇮🇹
Tecnically he just said : there was a big storm and rain, stay in the car for a couple of minutes to see if it stops or I will come to you .. but mr. Zee's version was better 😂😜
Ai son stof! Et lavurèr! Ai son stof! Et tribulèr! Ah! That's a real Emiliano-Romagnolo! As always wonderful video, seems most of the people is starting to understand how much welcoming and friendly people in Emilia Romagna are!
You can see how much passion that man has for his wine, thus trip to Italy is so good i can't wait to see more^^
I am more and more amazed by Ollie's ability to not only have fun with new people he meets but also include them in the fun. It's a treat to witness!
It never cease to amaze me how Ollie makes friends with everyone he meets...His personality just seem to make people comfortable :)
Vittorio is just too precious. And I'm so jealous of Ollie's people skills. He can just make friends with anyone.
You guys never disappoint. You always go out of your way to try out something new, even if it’s way beyond your reaches. I hope y’all continue to make great content on this channel. Best of luck always.
The way Vitorrio loved Ollie, my heart 🥹🥹🥹❤️
only Mr Z can bring you guys to the most unique places
Goddammit this series deserves to be on TV.. Its so good, its story is so simple yet the topic and presentation is just top tier
It actually seems like a real tv show or like a Netflix series about traveling and food 😂 I enjoy this so much
Can't GET ENOUGH OF THIS SERIES
I don’t ever want this crescendo to end. So pure, so wholesome, food, drink and good friends what’s not to love. You guys brighten my day so much.
OMG THÉ NEXT ÉPISODE IS PARMESAN?! WOW. Although I was going to say that the Shelves of Cheese reminded me of ‘The Order of the Phoenix’ where they collect the Prophecy.
yeah, I immediately thought of HP scene in stead of matrix
Ollie is truly irreplaceable. He got the man to sing a song for him after like what, 15 mins of meeting? what a charmer!
Italy trip has been one of the best episodes so far. ❤️ loving it.
I love how hospitable everyone is being as you go around. Not only a great and warm welcome, but you are getting some pretty valuable and meaningful gifts too!
Another upload!!! I love this series,! Ollie is such a vibe😂
I just love how Ollie becomes friends with everyone and they actually accept his friendship it’s sweet 🥺
@@thatgirl9532 ikr! Like he's such a pure human being!🥺
@@telmanerry Right? Idk how he does it I wish I had his confidence
@@thatgirl9532 same! ^^
This is turning into the most enjoyable, entertaining food tour ever... keep em coming lads
I'm convinced that Vittorio, having such an obviously incredible passion and love for wine and the vineyards they come from, has learned to read weather to such an amazingly minute detail that he could predict when the rain would clear out. A superpower developed from clearly years if not decades of intense dedication to his craft, what a legend.
I wouldn't be surprised if the God of Wine was also the God of Weather haha. That's another one of his secret to great artisanal wine. This whole series is the reason I really want to visit Italy and it's countryside. the food, the drinks, the people and just the way of life. Beautiful.
It's strange to watch this series and see all these places where i grew up. Food culture in Italy and especially here in Emilia Romagna is a big deal so I'm glad that you're showing our specialities, local people and culture to the world. Also Vittorio is definitely one of a kind! Lovedd when he sang in Modenese dialect!!
What a jewel of a person Mr Vittorio is… it’s those people who chose their passion over fame or money who can truly make art out of anything, in this case wine! I’m enjoying this series A LOT! Kudos to the guys for being so heartwarming and appreciative, for continuing to be in awe of everything they experience ! The emotion reaches us on this side of the screen also!
Another great day when jolly posts a video!!
That is Italy. Everybody grows wine or olives in their backyards. And the whole family or neighbors come and help with the harvesting and bottling of them. What a cool old guy.
This is such a great series!
Love that you guys are exploring Italy.
Such an amazing country!
“i hope we meet again someday. maybe in heaven, which you will be presiding over” OLLIE😭😭😭
I'm living vicariously through your channel. Thank you for making me smile with your videos 🥰
"Being drunk, fat and stupid is no way to go through life" - Dean Wormerrr
A little disappointed that Olly didn't shake his hand and say, "Hello, Mr. Bacchus."
Maybe he can do something like that with the next Roman deity he meets. =)
Kudos to the team! You have produced one best series after another! Bravo!
1st
Vittorio with his hook at the end be like - come here you joking prat :D love the energy
귀하신분임에도 소탈하게 사시며 자연을 그대로를 추구하시는 삶은 저희를 겸허하게 만드네요. 즐겁게 시청했습니다.💕
The way they laughed nervously (like escaping from a kidnapper) after knowing it's the cellar 😂
Every episode it just says Mr. Z's connection with the finest, artisinal, anything basically in Italy
This is the best series ever. May it reign long, alongside the God of Wine
i like how at this point josh accepted that the man(god of wine, probably Dionysus) stopped the rain and he so easily believed mr. Z
great episode. i love wine and make it myself at home. i hope to meet this man one day. ill travel to Italy just to see him.
I think he really might just be the God of Wine. He's just wiling away in the mortal world for fun.
This series has been amazing so far! Can't wait for the next video! Please make more series like these for the Jolly channel, where you travel and experience different cultures from the perspective of a local who moved to Britain. It's like a reverse KE!
This episode was quite... Jolly I guess. I was really enjoying watching it.
The thunderstorm was just the God of Wine's trial for those who seek him.
HAHAHAHA I love this series so much. The blend of quality produce and people and humor! Everything is genuinely beautiful to watch and very informative. It’s never boring in this channel.
Omg i will do anything to try that L'Ambrosco... sounds so good. the foam it forms.. u can see that it's quality grape.
Lambrusco not l'ambrosco
6:57 I love how he is not even singing in italian, this is emilian dialect!
i've never seen a shirt match a person better
Ollie is so good at becoming friends with everyone XD
vittorio graziano is certainly a great wine producer. he is not known in italy for his wine but for his philosophy of growing grapes. as you can see from the video, the grapes grow spontaneously and he takes care of them, plows the land with old machinery that does not destroy the soil and roots, without pesticides . . etc... totally in a natural way. finally he harvests the grapes and makes good wine from them. in italy, his wine can be bought (although there are few bottles available as every year the growth of the grapes is different) and costs around 25€ (28$) which is not expensive at all.
I am just picturing how, in editing this video, Josh and Ollie must have come to the slow realization of just how much Mr. Z was trolling them based on their lack of knowledge of Italian language and culture throughout this trip.
I've wanted to visit Vittorio for YEARS.. What an experience! Thank you for taking us along the journey.
I am surprised that Vittorio has no apprentice to keep his business going. After all, he seemed to be wanting to retire already. So who will succeeded him after he retired? Such skills will disappeared if not passed on.
I miss Italy! What a wonderful series, thank you! The food, wine and scenery! However the stars are you three, your chemistry is fantastic.
Ollie gets along with everyone 😂
I wish to have the same passion as The God of Wine when I am 50+ full of life! Such a lovely video!
Yeah, that would be the God of Wine. Chilling at 71, making wine in the cellar for the fun of it.
I love Vittorio. That man must be protected at all costs.
Was Vittorio's "blues" about Jolly and Mr. Z "bothering" him? I find the song funny as hell hahaha
"I'm tired and I'm working
I'm tired and I'm being bothered~"
🤣🤣🤣
You can always tell how uncomfortable Josh gets when things are not firm and proper. Loosen up Josh! Live a little unhinged like Ollie!
I just love how Ollie always seems to become best friends with everyone he meets!! 🤣🤣🤣
Mr Z is just soooooo good at building an atmosphere and a story. That whole god of wine tale was Amazing XD
You know it’s funny hearing Ollie say parmesan smells like puke because the cheese contains butyric acid which is present in, among other things, vomit!
American chocolate contains butyric acid as well.
Can't believe they summoned Dionysius himself just to taste good wine.
