Man what a beautiful understanding mother..
Remember this being passed around on VHS and CD-Rs back in the day - classic.
Teach cosa and zomby real shit
A timeless classic. Greatest graffiti documentary ever made.
november1ish not even close
Nah man "watching my name go by" the best graffiti documentary
Crippling alcoholism style wars? I’ve had trains on sydney docos back in the day but they aren’t even my favourite, style wars hands down
Piece by piece
Guess you haven't watched the other ones.. the San Fran one is the best
just got this strange feeling Futura 2000 is from the future, with that swag and that demeanor about graffiti.
Classic. Back to watch it again and again after all these year’s
Rest In Power RASE
Big props for uploading this Kela and mad respect to Skiny for creating it!! absolutely iconic stuff right here
Love how eine almost sees it as his human right to paint graffiti because he works and pays taxes 😆
Remember seeing him in a BBC graff documentary about 20 years ago where he stated he lived a Jackle & Hyde like existence- Wearing a suit to work in the day and a hoody out to paint at night. Guy was an inspiration to me along with many other dons here like all of TPG AC FDC, ect....
Long retired from painting now (well mostly! ;))
@@5pr1nk57 he literally says that in this documentary lol it’s the same one you saw
@@5pr1nk57 such a cringeworthy cliché documentary.
@@rav9681 sitting there like hardened gangsters talking about putting paint on a wall 🤡
@@rav9681 don’t bother commenting back to me as if I don’t know what I’m talking bout either I’ve wrote since 1999, painted lu before too. There’s nothing tough or hard about graffiti writers that’s why they all go vp when they do get nicked and serve there 3 week sentence 😂 ITS DRAWING ON A FUCKING WALL STOP OVER EXAGGERATING IT AS IF ITS SOMETHING MORE.
Great upload and interview with skiny! can’t say how much this inspired me when I started writing. Would never have thought that I would eventually meet alot of these people even writing with one of them. Can’t believe I hit that same yard jubilee side, got chased by bt’s and fell on the tracks in the middle and also got electrocuted (belt got stuck), luckily whilst paralysed I managed to move off by snapping it and I made it away. Rest in peace Rase
*LoOmiT* made it to my country in New Zealand back in the 90s seen a piece up on a wall in my city Wellington! Wow now thats getting up Worldwide fr.
This going out to the kings and toys DJ's and B-boys bring the noise all the writer's keeping it real hitin Steel
This is for the kings off the culture I ain't old-school I'm just gettin older.
Word-up.
@@CANControlGRAFFITI like Cameo ❤
Thanks for uploading this Keka, much love ❤
Enjoyed this thoroughly. Didn't like that it ended on a down note. Could have used a call back to the positivity I was feeling during most of the film. Big respect to everyone involved.
I like that it ended like that because it’s reality and graff is a dark world in many ways there’s not much positivity about it when you’re actually involved it’s very high stress
Thank you Kela 🙏🏽
Thank you for uploading this doc! Had it on video back when it was shown on Channel 4. Respect brother!
Classic documentry. Had this for many years on Vhs tape and lost count how many times I watched it bitd.
Loved the footage of Eine,Elk and Oker peparing to embark on their mission.
Shows how many years ago this was as they paint a Network South East slam door train.
My god that feels so long ago now.
We used to kill the insides. Lots of hidden out of view spots and absolutely zero 'big brother' camaras watching you're every move.
We didn't fully appreciate the total freedom we actually had back in the 90's and camaras on trains watching us didn't even enter our heads and would have been only something you'd see in that rather strange sci fi 1988 movie 'They Live' along with little flying drones fitted with tiny cameras spying on you.
To this day I still have a lump in my throat hearing about Gary 'RASE' Baxters tragic death in november of 1988.
He never stood a chance poor lad.
He fell on to the electrified tracks at Neasdon depot. Possibly one of the biggest junction of tracks on the entire London Underground network.
He apparently landed head first on to the live rail and would have died instantly.
Least it was probably quick. We saw loads of memorials and tribute pieces over the years and to this day his name is remembered 🙏❤RIP 'RASE'❤🙏 and all the other fallen soldiers......Vizo,Ozone,Wantz,Lover,Kbag,Trip ❤🙏
RASE TU 💙 he will always be remembered.
@@dantu6527 😉✌❤🙏
Amen! (breaks) and my boy Ozone, old school mate of mine! RIP
I absolutely loved those trains and the Network Southeast livery. Seeing that 'Kent Coast' sign on the side of the train brought back many memories. Some of my happiest times were traveling on those trains with my family as a kid down to the north Kent coastal towns, to the beaches. All over. The graffiti was always something that stood out to me, intrigued me and in some way captivated me. To the point that I'm still looking and taking an interest to this day, all these years on. Peace to you all.
Aw man sick doc. Remember seeing it years ago, ur doing gods work uploading this man!!
One of the best intros, love it. watching it once a month atm 😂
Great content man 💯🙏🏼
The ending gets me right in the gut. 😞 RIP to the fallen writers.

Great vid.
Peace in rest to Rase...
And big up to his compassionate MUM.
LEE the true oldschooler loved his mum too and likewise.
Big respect to all of you 'righters' and watch the lines.
Some are electrifying moments of art that lives on through our subcultural LINES.
Other's are real live NASTY lines that want to cross you out forever.
Ie the Police and Ungovernmeant!
So HOLD TIGHT and BIG UP THE JUNGLE WHICH IS ON A DAILY.
So dont be lazy ❤❤❤

Quien podra traducir esta pieza de arte ?
As "Spit" watches on...
Yo listen to Bias B - Kings and toys
Who's the guy at end talking about Rase?
Damn yo I swear I seen Goldie in a movie
snatch
Was looking for this comment.
It's a moissanite.
A what???
A moissanite is a fake diamond. Lincoln.
It's fake. Mickey Mouse. Man. Not real. And it's worth...FUCKO. LOL. Dope movie.
With Bowie😃
Every king was a toy.
I see no toys, just lost souls trying to make some sense of who they are, searching for an identity in the chaos of a prefabricated society that we never asked to be part of.
Lenny is DOPENESS tho.
HiPhOP's FoReVeR!"
Remember my Mum recording this for me waaaaay back
If you won't to do your shit, show respect to others.
TTCC..!
LEISM2 C.T.B : BMT KING OF INSIDES!!
It’s so weird hearing people repeat the same things New York graffiti writers did and said about what they did years before anyone else… not saying they don’t deserve the shine… they still out there risking their ass to paint… but it’s still weird… after videgraf everyone everywhere else basically ripped off every aspect of it… same words, same “style” same everything… just different accents lol so strange…🤷🏻♂️
them pixelations are a waste of time. proper bait
Lol why blur out the face then show a pic of it?!
Good Question - and one I see come up quite a bit ; There’s so many reasons why but mostly on a number of personal and moral levels.
As no one knows what the future holds, it pretty much comes down to peoples circumstances when they were filming. These legends don’t have to be in front of a camera at all, if a compromise is a few blurred faces, then all good.
Nuff respect man 👊🏻
@@Kelavision Yes Kela👊👊
Kings know toys don't!
This is banksy
Banksy is shit.
@HyperJunk 1987 it ain't writing(graffiti) if it ain't got no letters kid ERF ONE STB
@Gamer Crush Bansky fan is calling someone a toy LMAO
All graffiti "documentaries" are terribly cliche' and honestly dumb.
Don’t watch them then.
Ben is a huge toy!haha
I'm not against art.... sure looks great, but do it in an art gallery or place where you allow it, why you vandalize someone else property? that is just not respect, you are an idiot if you think is that the right to put your name on somebody else property give you some kind of legit respect, you are not
Who does graffiti on a railroad trackside hurt? It’s the governments fault for removing it and costing taxpayers money. It is just paint on a wall
much appreciated Kela for uploading this.
Dope!
RIP RASE
