It really isn't about how he viewed himself but how others viewed him. People love to hate him, no matter how much he tries to change people will still view him as this terrible guy because of his past and prior views that they won't let go of.
No sarcasm: thank you for posting those definitions. What turned me off about this song originally was that i was like "damn that sounds dumb asf" then i listened to it.. come to find out, its a VERY different meaning which is, somewhat ironically, driven by the literal meanings.
Every time you guys got excited I was like "wait for it...wait for it...." hahaha I've been OBSESSED with this song ever since it dropped. Ronnie is a rad human being even though people love to hate him. I noticed the Underworld vibe too and those movies are so damn good. Excited to see you guys react to their trilogy: Losing My Mind, Losing My Life, and Drugs :D
Check their newest songs out in order it’s a story 1 losing my mind 2 losing my life 3 drugs Love the video and love you guys seem to love and notice all the same things about the song that I did first time listening
Ronnie Radke just reacted to your reaction to this on his Twitch..you can go check it out..he also reacted to your drugs video and the drug in me is reimagined!
New subscriber!! Love the energy! Go down the trilogy "losing my mind" "losing my life" "drugs" Then go back to the roots and check out "raised by wolves"

Dude you all as soon as the hook drops you guys bobbing your heads at the same time looking the same directions turning your heads. At the same time. That was awesome..
I don't think I'll ever get bored of watching people hear that "popular fucking monster AHHHHHHH" Breakdown part. Those googly eyed looks are hilarious
You watch a falling in reverse video, and go "awesome!" And you add it to your playlist. A few weeks later you listen to some more songs, add them to your playlist. After awhile you realise some of the songs link up to each other, you realise they have taken the time to tell a story. You start to look deeper, break their songs down, you read into ronnie's history. Now when you listen to their tracks, you understand the symbology, the depth, and pick up on a lot more of the raw emotion in his voice, and you understand it. Your hooked, you listen to their songs on repeat, falling in reverse just moved up to become your favourite band. It's a journey I've thoroughly enjoyed, and still consistently get goosebumps and feel the emotion when I listen to some of their songs.
Gotta check out all of RONNIES material starting with when he was with ESCAPE THE FATE. Gotta see his voice and lyrical progression it’s honestly amazing. He’s a badass
I really appreciate how genuine this reaction is. I always love seeing metalheads react to the band from an unbiased perspective because a lot of people hate on FIR without taking the time to appreciate their craft
Little thing you guys might have missed in this video and others, he always has his daughter as his anchor, as a father it's that part that gets me every damn time
Accidentally found Popular monster by looking for alt rock and metal songs to add to my play list. It is now my favorite song of all time. Only song I have ever been able to listen to wherever whenever I am. Any mood and phase I’m in.
My favorite part is definitely the screaming after the second chorus! Geez that part always gets me and feels like I wanna go run the marathon 😂 Fucking awesome reaction by you guys!! 👏🏼 I was just as hyped throughout the song as you two! 🤩
Ronnie;s amazing! Any song by falling in reverse is FIRE! I call this "LYRICAL METAL" And more bands need to talk about mental health. ENJOY YOUR JOURNEY WITH FALLING IN REVERSE!!
Like everyone else is saying, definitely watch in order (Losing my Mind, Losing my Life, Drugs, Popular Monster). You'll get to hear Ronnie's experimentation in finding his "sound" that he wants. Love the content; you just got a new subscriber!
Appreciate that William and welcome to the #JamFam ! We are def checking out the trilogy and following it in order. First reaction to it will be up tomorrow.
The two of you always have genuine reactions to music and that is what sets your channel apart from many others in my opinion. I totally love this song and had the same excited reaction to it like you guys did 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I love it when I am watching the reactions to this song and you just see them getting into it with the head nodding and shit. It gets me all hyped up and fuzzy. lmao
He really can do it all! Check out the re release if The Drug In Me Is You. Gotta listen to the first one and then The Drug In Me Is Reimagined. Amazing vocals!
It's funny you guys mention Tom, they were actually scheduled to go on tour together until some family issues came up. It would be awesome to see those guys together in 1 night.
It didn't even hit us when we did the reaction...we we're going to go see them on that tour...after seeing the comments, we remembered Tom's post about the tour and family issues.
I know this is old, and this has been said in other reactions to this video, but in the breakdown when they start firing their rifles, everything is in beat with the drums. It’s especially apparent when the final body hits the ground right on “Break down”. I always thought that was a really cool little detail.
I've never watched reaction videos before, but I had to see people experience this song for the first time. You did not disappoint, and hit it right on the head, THIS IS WHAT ROCK NEEDS RIGHT NOW!!! I feel like this is one of those game changing moments.
Please read whole thing My phone was off for awhile sorry I'm back i missed this channel. Anyway great Reaction as always I love that Ronnie's daughter is in alot of his videos it's like something special father daughter thing i have that with my dad it took 20 yrs but i finally have that with my dad because my dad loves punk music and sports and I love punk and hip-hop music and just got into sports but he never knew that until we started talking a lot more so now we listen to punk music together and I started watching sport just so I can connect with him and seeing Ronnie's daughter and Ronnie do these videos together it's a reminder that I should be happy that I have both my parents in my life and are still alive because there was a time i almost lost my parents health wise and my dad left 4 times before finally being serious with my mom they been together on and off for 21 yrs married for 7 out of the 21 my baby brother is the reason they fixed everything 15 yrs apart and everyone is happy now. I hope Ronnie can find happiness to besides his baby girl and if he is dating hopefully she makes him happy i only been a fan for 2 yrs p.s. i love sublime it's one of my favorite band's smoke two joints and doin time are 2 out of 4 of my favorite songs by them what's urs Jimmy
I’m a 45yr old woman who listens to Christian, bluegrass, rap, a little bit of everything and now at the top of my list is Falling in Reverse. This is their best song but I don’t think of the other songs as a “let down” I just look at this song as a huge accomplishment for a PERFECT SONG...in all areas along with the build of emotion and vocals etc etc. It’s a Whitney Houston or Titanic moment...hahahaha
Guys, the same thing hit me, this was like the car crash when I discovered Linkin Park (I think Crawling) - I heard this on Amazon, just asked Alexa to play some metal and when I heard this it was like, hang on, did they make something I never heard? But then, the dude's voice is so extraordinary. The layers are so insane. I'm like "how did I miss this?". I lost my son and battled suicidal depression for 16 years and this resonated just in terms of lyrics. But lyrics are one thing, this song gets you as close 'musically' as you will ever get to deep depression and the fight to survive yourself. The musical battle is as strong as the lyrics. Loved this and every time I play it I recognise a different lyric. The drops and melodies are what you feel day to day, from feeling like everything is okay one minute, feeling like a robot, to wanting to break the world the next. At times you ask why you are even here if life is so painful. This song, although not the same journey, represents my struggle and I guess a lot of people recognise some parts of it. I will be searching out this insanely talented band from now on.
Yeah this song still gives me the chills, you're so right....rock needed this in the worst way....just a year ago I was saying that rock is on it's last legs and if nothing happened I truly felt that we had seen the end of rock....but this was so needed. I love metal, hardcore, punk, grunge and even some classic rock and I love hip hop...but there were only a couple of rock metal bands in the past that I liked but for the most part I didn't dig rap metal....that's not to say those bands weren't talented I just wasn't in to in for the most part....these guys do it right...I truly feel that this song and video were perfect. I've been watching you guys for a minute now and when I saw you reviewed this song I was hyped I knew you guys would love it
I would definitely have been jamming to this in the 80's and 90's. This was my kind of music back in the day. I'm glad to finally see an artist with talent rockin' again.
This song is literally one of my favorite songs out right now. I can relate to the depression and stuff. It does suck to hear its a phase and be treated like your not trying to push through it.
Ive been binge watching these reactions of falling in reverse because i like to see what they stand in his style. I like metalcore and i didnt think i would like his music, but once i listened, i was seriously caugh in it. The breakdowns are amazing and i just love his music
Welcome to one of the most seriously underrated groups in modern day music. Ronnie's talents are astounding and the group as a whole should be platinum right now. Thanks for a perfect reaction. Subscribed!
these guys are stuck in the 90's... plenty of good rock now!. also the spawn ost was a mix of electronic music and metal. you might of been thinking about judgement night ost, which was metal/rap.
sorry for my english. That song is a masterpiece. I listen every kind of music literally, but this song is a meltinpot of all the best there are on music. Lyrics, vocals, rap, metal, scream are awesome and played by only one singer. Masterpiece.
Drugs, losing my life, alone, anything from the drug in me is you album. All amazing and not one song is a let down. I’d recommend drugs next tho cause if you love heavy metal it has Cory Taylor in it as well. But all around an amazing band and they never disappoint
“That feeling I got when I first heard linkin Park” he didn’t need to say anything else. 👌🏼
That's what my fiance said!
Facts
Exactly!!!🤘
Exactly! And I got to say, this and a few others are a staple of my enjoyment with this band.
When you realized that something was missing before. There was some musical genre "hole" that wasn't yet completely satisfied.
Oh yeah...y'all opened a rabbit hole, Welcome to Falling In Reverse, enjoy your ride!
This is one of my favorite parts of watching people reacting to Falling in Reverse! They have opened Pandora's Box!
@Jim E that's sick as hell man i hope yall have a great time
My trip just started this morning and cant complain at all
Eh it’s the only good song they have
I cant wait til the finally hear raised by wolves (the first single of the entire band)

i was thinking the exact same thing, I was waiting for the reaction at the bridge
Yea
The moment the metal break down started approaching i just gain this MASSIVE grin and go "these dudes are gunna lose their shit on this."
200% same here
Person: "what genre would you say you are?"
Ronnie Radke: "yes"
Andrew Lesko pretty sure Ronnie is just a genre of his own right at this point
