I've heard it's because the record label wanted them to write a pop song and so during the process of touring America and trying to finish Led Zeppelin 2 they had to write and record this song in a day and it was a really stressful session so none of the band members particularly cared for it and it was kind of treated like and afterthought to the Led Zeppelin 2 sessions
