IMO Any guard can use this info. Like that light technique on/off/move. If your shadowing a subject, even unarmed using flashlight, not giving away your position is smart. 'Its kind of like making noise, you want to be quite until you can't'. The instructor is right. Even coming through a door not telegraphing your position, retracting so they can't grab your weapon. You may not have a rifle and sling like he says, but if you have a handgun do you want to be fighting to retain a weapon, disarmed?
Usually nothing happens on security duty where you would need this... until it does. We always talk about guards needing more training. Here's a 3.23 minute video that could potentially save your life.

Do you recommend using the flashlight when doing this during the night time? Or will it give away your position?

@@anonymous-rz6zj Excellent question. 99.9% of security personnel, including law enforcement, should NOT be using any of these tactics. These tactics are designed for an active shooting or hostage situation only until after you have the proper training and it is allowed under your SOPs. You are essentially pointing a loaded firearm at someone just to target identify since the flashlight is attached to the firearms’s rail. Some of my audience is current military , SWAT, private SRT, and the video is designed for them. I have actually uploaded some videos on how to use your flashlight.

Dude, why are rent a cops getting paramilitary training? Door to door urban warfare or something or are you just larping SS Waffles?😊

@@crimbullet why would anybody but military personnel be CQC training? Licensed security are not police, police are not licensed security and military ain't either one.
So, why are you promoting intensive combat training in security services? Ain't y'all BSIS licensed goons in trouble enough? Pretty soon a massive lawsuit is going to be filed because of your kind's antics.
And y'all are dumber than cops and have no protections or immunities.

The video is designed for anyone that can find it useful. The expected audience is trolls, military, law enforcement, private security personnel, paintballers, and larpers. Also, this is not intensive combat training. When you get some more experience or training, come back and we’ll revisit this conversation. For now, you don’t have reservations to sit at the table.
