Man this video is so good. As someone with 2000+ hours in the game, the advice he gives here is so good. I expected no less from Jorbs, but just wanted shout out how well he organized the information and how accurately he described the strategies and cards.
I definitely feel like “adrenaline vs wraithform” is a perfect example of why understanding is more important than a tier list. Adrenaline is an excellent card because you can put it in almost any deck and it will make it better. Wraith form is an excellent card because it can completely solve certain important fights entirely on its own, but you can’t necessarily say “Wraith form is S, so click on it every time you see it.”
I would be very very interested in a video like this for Defect! Trying to kill heart on Ascension 20 is kicking my ass, and the only way I've managed to do it so far is with ludicrous focus scaling (I recognized an opportunity to make an infinite combo deck once, but I fumbled it lol)
Super interesting video, and it gives some really useful rules of thumb to have in mind when deck building. I just built an infinite card spam Silent deck following some of this advice, and I even managed to beat the heart with it
Thank you very much for making this video. I'm at about A4-A5 on all characters currently, and I don't fully understand all my options to win the game. I only understand some, and feel like I'm not at full potential. I really hope you make these for other classes!
“Hello. It’s Jorbs. With Another Spiiiireside Chaaaaatt!!” Basically exactly what I said in my head as soon as I saw this video 😅 Been a while since we’ve seen a spire side chat.
Very interesting! My problem with silent is the early-game though, that I don't wanna add cards that doesn't go with the final build, so I die because I have my tactician without discards, or catalyst without poison (overexaggarating here but yea...) so it would be nice with some guide on how to reach your goal.
I have been playing for a week now and absolutely love playing poison build it kills thing ridiculously fast once you get that card that doubles poison
it was a little funny looking at the cards on the list, and realizing despite a lot of the cards being very different from the game rn, I still knew what each of them were supposed to say
It's of course impossible to call out every potential relic / card interaction, but it's worth mentioning how good Orange Pellets + Bullet Time can be for the first outlined deck strategy.
suggestion for the future episodes on the other characters: after explaining one of the game winning deck arquetypes, show a little bit of gameplay using it, maybe a single elite fight
dude i litearlly tried the first type of deck and went easy to act 4, finally i started to understand when not to pick cards (card draw for example). Amazingly helpful video! cant wait for other classes
Hi, Jorbs. Thanks for the video. The +10 draw tip was something I didn't know about the game. So, allow me to reciprocate: The shop keeper offers more than just wares and card removes...
it's slow it has the same prob as envenom, ur spending one mana now for a reward later but you should almost always take it if it's upgraded and ur playing a discard archtype.
it doesn't do anything until the turn after you've played it. also prepared is an unupgraded common that costs 0 energy; you can just take copies of prepared if you want your deck to regularly play them.
discarding a card is a major upside of dagger throw because of reflex, tactician, and also the large amount of card draw in silent's pool sometimes meaning you just want to discard to be below max hand size.
Well Laid Plans was depicted here with 0 energy cost, but it was nerfed quite some time ago to cost 1 energy. I'm guessing that it's a recent video but Jorbs is using the same assets he used in his last tierlist which was very long ago.

two jorbs videos in two minutes?? my lucky day
I can sleep twice today!
Two RUclips jorbs videos*
great explanation, excellent articulation of concepts that I kind of understood, but hearing them explained so clearly has made me smarter
Thank you very much for making this video. I'm at about A4-A5 on all characters currently, and I don't fully understand all my options to win the game. I only understand some, and feel like I'm not at full potential.
I really hope you make these for other classes!
Thank you for this video! It has immediately improved my ability to play Silent. Got me thinking differently about many combinations.
Was able to beat Ascension level 20 (after trying for months) after I came across this guide!
I haven’t seen non-beta art wraith form in so long, I spent several minutes wondering why wraith form wasn’t on-screen
Maligning grand finale, yet I recall Twitch Jorbs using it to proc shuriken. Which doesn't make the card good, but was very fun to watch.
holy cow its back
“Hello. It’s Jorbs. With Another Spiiiireside Chaaaaatt!!” Basically exactly what I said in my head as soon as I saw this video 😅 Been a while since we’ve seen a spire side chat.
You forgot the archetype of 1 Noxious Fumes for damage and everything else for defense. Works like a charm, 3h on average for a win👌
genuinely won a run with this + art of war. And some other poison cards of course, but noxious put in work
This guide is great. Can we get links to these tier lists?
I’m so addicted to this game. Please make more videos!
2023: Jorbs is now doing "archetypes" :)
sneaky strike also has the potential to generate alot of energy with necronomicon which makes the cursed tome event much better

Don't force archetypes. Take cards that help you now, and you'll be able to slowly build your lategame deck.

Wake up fam new spire chat dropped
I remember when Jorbs would say “what is a type of Deck?” Now we have shells and engines 🙏🏻😎
Great video, this was awesome thank you!
jorbs in his RUclips content era Pog
Spireside chat? One word: Poj
Finally, the deck archetype video
The 6 card combo was my first heart kill
Extremely disappointed he didn’t mention The Boot synergy with blade dance
dude i litearlly tried the first type of deck and went easy to act 4, finally i started to understand when not to pick cards (card draw for example). Amazingly helpful video! cant wait for other classes
SPIRE CHAT IS BACK!
great content, thank you!
Theres something about a blurspam deck with choke that is very satisfying to me
Ms. Knives does not appreciate being called simple
Does the style of video exist for the other characters? I wasn’t able to find any
I love spireside chat!
A19 silent is currently kicking my butt fingers crossed this makes the difference for me
Did he do the other classes as well?
Hi, Jorbs. Thanks for the video.
The +10 draw tip was something I didn't know about the game.
So, allow me to reciprocate:
The shop keeper offers more than just wares and card removes...
Very nice video, I enjoyed this very much!
Excellent video! When is the next character?
Please do more of this content with other characters
Are these the archetype chats?
more spire side chats please!!!
so you DO in fact, recognize deck archetypes
Hey wheres the Defect, Watcher and Clad counterparts to this !!!
Why is Tools of the Trade overlooked in the discard deck? You play a free prep every turn.
it's slow it has the same prob as envenom, ur spending one mana now for a reward later but you should almost always take it if it's upgraded and ur playing a discard archtype.
it doesn't do anything until the turn after you've played it. also prepared is an unupgraded common that costs 0 energy; you can just take copies of prepared if you want your deck to regularly play them.
why isn't Quick Slash good for the first build?
discarding a card is a major upside of dagger throw because of reflex, tactician, and also the large amount of card draw in silent's pool sometimes meaning you just want to discard to be below max hand size.
Really appreciate this video hope there will be vids like this for other characters
Some of the cards have different numbers, is this some mega old video?
Which ones for example?
Well Laid Plans was depicted here with 0 energy cost, but it was nerfed quite some time ago to cost 1 energy. I'm guessing that it's a recent video but Jorbs is using the same assets he used in his last tierlist which was very long ago.
@@aidanwarren4980hmm yeah you're right. I was going to say that too, probably just old card pictures
New video old tiermaker cards.
-Joanna (RUclips Jorbs)
