Plastigal Professional Staunton chess pieces review. Similar to Marshall Jaques pieces, being it the most similar plastic chess set from Argentina to a real Staunton.
Plastic pieces, matte, with white pieces with a wood tone (without 'grain').
These pieces are ubiquitous in many Argentinean tournaments, at least 3 generations remember having played with these pieces. Some years ago, these pieces quality was far superior than the last decade ones. Since 2018 they started being made with better quality. It is recommended to look for the version in a fabric bag.
