Wow... Did Paul W.S. Anderson say to the guy playing Wesker, "You know the Matrix? Just copy Agent Smith in every conceivable way. The way he acts; the way he talks. All of it."
To be fair, voice actor for Wesker in RE5 has very specific voice, I really doubt anyone could replicate that. This actor certainly tries, and to be fair, he isn't terrible considering that he has to deliver nearly unspeakable lines. I thought he kinda looked the part, bit more rounded in face but he sorta resembles Wesker from games. One thing that always bugged me about characters in these movies beside them having nothing to do with ones from games (personality-wise) is that most of them seemed like really bad cosplayers. I swear I've seen cosplayers do better job with costumes then actual movie. Now Wesker, at least he looks like movie character and not bad cosplay.

So Wesker took away Alice's powers, but hasn't it been established that the reason Alice has her powers is due to the T-Virus? So Wesker basically ''cured'' her from the virus then? And wasn't it said in the last movie Umbrella was looking for a way to reverse the virus? So he basically had an anti-virus serum all along. Unless of course Wesker had his scientists create an anti-virus mainly for Alice in case he needed to remove her T-Virus powers, despite the fact they were trying to find out how she bounded with it. Also how was he able to create such a serum for that but not one to combat infected T-Virus zomibes. Unless the scientists used the Alice clones they had as a template to create the power off serum but in that movie they didn't know...oh fuck it the more thought I try to put in the more it hurts.
Wow. I never thought about that until now. Which begs the question, WHY WOULD PAUL W.S. ANDERSON WRITE HER POWERS AWAY IN THIS FILM TO BEGIN WITH?! If he's still gonna have her be this overpowered Mary Sue even without her powers, then why not have her keep her powers?

I thought the first in this series had some merit, as a prequel of what happened in the mansion in the first game Then (hopefully) each sequel could have been proper movie rendition of the games
While it's obvious none of these are Resident Evil movies, they are like an anthology of movies Paul Anderson wanted to make Resident Evil - Cube Apocalypse - a "Living Dead" sequel Extinction - Mad Max/Road Warrior Afterlife - Prison Break and I haven't watched the last one. Any suggestions?
my question is when Alice first landed that plane on the roof and the rotor hit that concrete how did the rotor not get damaged wouldn't that have severely damaged the rotor then the plane would have been screwed
My question about your comment is wouldn’t watching Afterlife damage the logic centres in your brain and wouldn’t that damage make it impossible to ask a good question like yours? 😂
So this entire movie series was based on some Resident Evil fanfiction that people said was really good, some even saying good enough to be a movie, and someone took those compliments seriously?
I’m not if it was in Phelous video (most likely) but something about - Paul Anderson wrote a script - and was shopping it around. That script had the resident evil elements applied to it and the series was born.
I think that Chris's role would have been better if it was Billy Coen. We know Billy was a prisoner... So, this would fit perfectly. But, no. We got inmate Chris. (-_-) And Billy was a military man too! Prisoner, Military man, "not trust worthy".... Did they get Chris and Billy confused?!! Because I seriously think they cast Wentworth to be Chris when they were thinking of Billy. I do like the Executioner part though. I think that was the only real good part of this movie... He used to be my worst nightmare. I actually had NIGHTMARES about him. Until I played RE5... I was chicken for the first 30 minutes, then I killed him... I got over my fear. Now I fear Pyramid Head. XD (But the Executioner didn't belong in this, yeah. Though not as much as the Majini.)
You're so right! It would make way more sense if it was Billy. I don't think they cast Wentworth Miller to play Chris while thinking of Billy, though -- these people don't even know how to work with mainstream characters like Jill and Leon, they probably don't even know who Billy Coen is.
Yeah, it would've made sense to have it be Billy. But then again, he was introduced in Resident Evil Zero and hasn't made much appearances since (aside from the Umbrella Chronicles spinoff). Or perhaps Mr. Anderson was so in love with Resident Evil 5 that he decided to bring in Chris. Since this hellish nightmare of a film series is finally over (Thank God) here's hoping in a reboot that they stay true to the games and have Chris remain the S.T.A.R.S operative (at least in RE1 and Code: Veronica) we all know and love. EDIT: Well, we got it.... But it felt like a Monkey's Paw curling. I will never hear "Crush" by Jennifer Paige the same way again.
The whole "shot to remove powers" is like that videogame trope of the sequel game removing all the late game skills you get in the previous game that pisses me off everytime in RPGs.
When Phelan says "Jill, is that you Jill!?" I always think that he's lost his mind and is actually thinking thats Jill and not an image of her on a box LOL.
I would like to know how the clones suddenly have dark brown hair when the clones established in Extinction clearly have sandy blonde hair? I guess Alice hooked her clones up with hair dye. Also, how does the clones have Alice’s powers when, to my knowledge, they weren’t infected like the original clone Alice? Oof.
Did anyone else listen to Shawn Roberts as Wesker, and get the feeling that he was trying to imitate D.C. Douglas' performance as RE5's Wesker, save clipping out the latter's British accent? Given how much this movie rips off--er, *imitates* RE5 in other areas, it wouldn't surprise me. Though as far as things TO imitate goes, they certainly could've done worse; D.C. Douglas was an *awesome* Wesker. In any case. Roberts sure comes closer to canon!Wesker than Jason O'Mara did, in the last film (the 'corporate little weiner' Phelous mentions, before going on to talk about 'the new Wesker', Roberts).
I think overall these movies REALLY wanted to be The Matrix...the slow motion, Alice basically being a knock-off Neo, and her outfit in Retribution just SCREAMED that it wanted to be The Matrix and not Resident Evil.
As someone who reviews fanfiction, I can confirm that these films are basically fanfiction, except maybe the 1st movie (the only one I like). All the worst traits of fanfiction combined into one horrible mess can been seen in the sequels...except for porn. Also, I think Milla Jovovich might hate Jill Valentine since there is a lot of Jill abuse is this series. Apocalypse: Jill is an idiot who puts on an outfit that will make survival harder, and becomes a useless cheerleader for Alice. Extinction: Jill is never referenced as if she does not matter. Carlos who liked Jill in RE3 now has a raging boner for Alice. Afterlife: Same as Extinction till the end where Jill is mind controlled. In RE5, Jill ripped her outfit open revealing the jewel which let Chris know what he needed to do to save her, meaning she actually contributed to being rescued. Retribution: Jill is basically the same as RE5, just without the contributing to being rescued part mentioned earlier. And then proceeds to be a useless cheerleader again when she is rescued. I am guessing the "final" film will have her be just like in Apocalypse...call it a hunch. So from this, I think it is safe to say Milla hates Jill the most since all the other characters do not get abused as much. Or maybe Anderson just wants to promote his wife, so he makes Jill look as bad as possible since she is considered THE Resident Evil girl? That is my theory at least. My personal head canon is that Alice never woke up at the end of the 1st film, and all the movies afterwards are her coma-induced dreams.
Scott smith Maybe she liked Carlos and was upset Carlos liked Jill? Perhaps she is jealous of how Jill has a better chest, or is more popular then her. Those are my best guesses. I do know that Milla said she wanted to play Jill in the first move, but Paul W.S. Anderson convinced her not to. I am not sure if she is telling the truth or not. If true, then I guess Anderson hates Jill.
they don't even know what the red device is in the movie they think it's a robotic spider while this is a nice idea the games variant simply injected steroids that made you easy to manipulate and extremely strong
I could totally imagine a Resident Evil theme escape room, where you find keys and medalions and so forth. a few cleaver motorised props, like statues that move when you put gems in. could be fun. could sprinkle in some memos and diary notes, some as clues other as just flavor, like the famous turning zombie one everyone remembers.
I wish Barry canonly just spoke as stilted as his 1990s counterpart I knew this English teacher in my middle school who i swore spoke like Barry in the 1996 game.
Why doesn’t Phelous have more subs?!?! I love his videos, especially all the silent hill and resident evil stuff. But his movie reviews and video games are awesome too
Notice how the movements during the Wesker battle are directly copied from the RE5 cutscene? The glasses throw, the backflip, the teleportation, revealing the reptile eyes without glasses, and putting them on before grabbing their hands and throwing them etc.
3:19 Phelous: Neither is she, she off dying her hair blonde. *Jill looking confused after loading her gun* I know that wasnt intentional but some reason that made me cracked up
Apparently him destroying that time thing the time masters had blew him into another dimension where he's stuck in an RE fanfic. Too bad the gun and the deadpan voice didn't go with him. the resident evil series would've been so much better if it had been captain cold instead of Alice in umbrellaland.
considering you add some comments for these old reviews when you upload them on youtube, you shouldn't forget to mention in Retribution that Ada's actress was dubbed over by her voice-actress from RE2 and RE4,Sally Cahill. The closest thing that they ever got to a character being like his game counterpart in these movies when you think about it...
It's like a series of alternate universes all being run together like they're on on-going plot. It's like someone made a movie, and then just started making movies based on all the fan fictions people wrote about it.
This movie is basically the Alice version of Resident Evil 5, set in the US (instead of Africa). They had the executioner, las plagas, Chris (no Sheva though, instead it's Claire), no Uroboros plotline but it's still Wesker as the Big Bad. They even have the plane crash with the miraculous survival except it's not a volcano this time, and the only thing they really missed was the boulder-punching. It's honestly no worse than the plot and events of the game. Btw the split-head dog in the movie you said is from Silent Hill is ALSO in RE5, it's the Adjule. Do even remember the last fight in RE:5? Wesker's spinning trash arms and Chris punching him in the heart and I get Sheva to shoot him in the heart with a rocket launcher with Chris still clinging to his back and he's just fine and the entire fight is in a convenient volcano and as they get rescued you both fire rocket launchers from within the helicopter... This IS Resident Evil. This is where it is: This movie IS the state of the game in RE5. Completely absurd, take it for what it is. The games and movies are SO FAR AWAY from what the franchise was in the original Resident Evil, if, what you liked of the first game was the slow pace and the slow unfolding and the creeping horror leading up to the Tyrant and the rocket launcher, and not - as the games and movies have given us - was the supernatural science, grow-fast monsters, and lots and lots of shit blowing up. Considering what I've recently been playing in RE5... all the nonsense in that... you're being way, WAY too harsh on the movies. (But yes, I would have liked the original characters to do a bit more in the Alice Universe... and on that front, they were at least cast faithfully, unlike the recent garbage we've been offered...) I mean really, as a mindless action flick loosely based on elements of RE5, this movie is fine. Although I'd be ok with a faithful retelling of the actual RE5 story too, I suppose... if we got Irving, Excella etc in it. (Would probably need to be a fan movie.) (I posted this on your rant video too... but I think it belongs here... with your actual review. Oops.)
wait, so wesker had a plaga in him too. now normally i'd just take that to mean anderson adapted the sucker mouths and merged them with the t-virus, except then next movie the red queen explicitly mentions Las Plagas! What the hell is going on here!
my biggest problem with that wesker fight is the fact that alice stabs him with a knife covered with her blood, aka her dna, so that means she gave wesker exactly what he wanted since her blood would then be in his system and given how things work in resident evil that would probably be enough
Also, the reason Wesker can survive so much stuff is because he Injected himself with (I think the T-Virus or the G-Virus.) Which is why he survived the Tyrant after being Impaled, and the and the Mansion explosion. (This is all found out in the Umbrella Chronicles.)
in the game yea but in these stupid movies none of the masion event ever happen , now he just happen to have T virus las plaga combo bullshjt with no explanation and inject himself that why he can survive all of that
Dr Strangelove Well, last time I checked it was Birkin who injected himself with G-Virus, and he is one of three people to ever be injected with it. The other two being Sherry (Kinda) and the dude from Degeneration. Also, Resident Evil Revelation is Wesker's sister trying to get her hands on the prototype Virus so she can be like him.
After watching the final chapter, I really appreciate this film. At least you can see the slow mo, rather than having the camera too close in the dark.
24:58 No. I say it's like he pulled a Masashi Kishimoto in how he referenced Naruto's previous arcs incorrectly...as well as have the rest to the story characters devolve into dung.
KingNazaru actually I like that series, what I didn't follow was your thoughts on it. Sure the fillers can get annoying, but to me, all in all, it's still my favorite anime
Tobisaru It's not just the anime that's bad, the manga is as well. There are numerous plot holes, it's ripped off better mangas including Masashi's brother's O Part Hunter 666, retconned its story a multitude of times, characters acting insane, stupid, like assholes, pretentious pseudo philosophy, contradicting the rules set up for how the series works etc.
One thing I will say for these movies is that they allowed Phelous to review them, and I sometimes like to watch these movies before playing any Resident Evil games, as the horrificness of them really makes you appreciate the games more.
turns 10 today! I remember seeing it when I was at community college Wasn't screened in advance for critics but I had fun with it Slogs in a few places but Milla Jovovich proves she's still a bonafide action heroine battling the undead. Happy too they kept the song from the trailer in the actual movie. The action is impressive and the 3D is utilized pretty well. I just love how Shawn Roberts is hamming it up as Wesker in every scene he’s in. Love that they brought back Claire and introduced her brother played by Wentworth Miller. Just stinks Jill was captured and brainwashed by Umbrella. Funny this came out 11 years after The Matrix, guess Anderson was a huge fan
5:51 This is the first time I notice that the slide dosen't move back when he fires. Cmon they even do that in complete trash movies...well, a few atleast.
I always find it so jarring how different Sienna Guillory (Jill) looks here (and in Retribution) compared to Apocalypse. I didn't think it was the same actor the first time I saw the movie, shows how much different hair and makeup can change your look I guess. I only bring it up because the cutting between the movies from 26:28 really sharply highlights the difference.
It would be really cool to see you tackle Anderson's steampunk "Three Musketeers." Especially as his wife's ninja version of Milady is actually as scarily incompetent as every other character and only survives through sheer force of stupid serendipity.
The Plagas infected are even dumber than you think. Las Plagas wasn't something Umbrella really worked on. That was mostly TriCell. And the Majini? They weren't infested by natural Las Plagas like the village, they were using Type 2 and Type 3 Plagas made by TriCell while Wesker's Umbrella was making Urobouros. Also, the Majini weren't zombies. They were intelligent enough to coordinate attacks and use weapons. I don't know if the Plagas could work on the undead. ...well there are the modified Lickers I guess...
I just thought of this. They are in Hollywood and the cook wanted Alice to fly them one at a time to Alaska...in a 2 person plane. That is a 5 hour flight by a commercial plane so probably more like 6 or 7 hours by that plane which means it would take Alice (if she could find enough gas to keep filling it) about a week to bring everyone to Arcadia. Yeah, good plan
I'm not a fan of horror games (They terrify me) but somehow, your comedy stuff helps me get through any scary parts so thanks for that :) also the cosplay outfits are very cool 14.7.22
Gunplay it hurts! Gunplay it hurts! Nevah believe in the *LIIIIEEEEEEEEE~* That song is just so memorable and nostalgic. I like what I've seen of the "return to form of sorts" that is the seventh game, but I'd absolutely lose my shit if they decided to release a new RE game themed around the old school cheesy B-movie dynamic. I mean, I know they sort of did that in 5 and more so in 6, but those were action B-movie style. I want a legit survival horror B-movie style modern RE.
I watched this movie in the cinema. I wanted to leave after all clones were killed and “real” Alice lost her powers. Some people even did it. But I was brokeass student and didn’t want to admit this movie was waste of money, so I stayed 😂
What Barry doesn't know is that if he kept the ruby neck tie, instead of finding Resident Evil Afterlife, he would've found the Reset Button. Is that a reference to get a REALLY powerful weapon in Resident Evil?

Yeah and get a ___________ sandwich of your choosing.
And yet the future refused to change.
my question is Were the hell did alice find all the same outfits for her clone army? and the weapons did she loot an Armory does she have a personal tailor in the apocalypse? resident evil logic for ya
That intro was one of the most well-acted and well-filmed intros in internet review history.
I agree, phelous's resident evil reviews are my favorite reviews, that and the wrong turn series, his videos are pure gold!! 🤣🤣
Damn right!!!
Wait a minute, I that that was game footage!
The "take that" sketch aimed towards all the keys and items you have to collect to progress in most Resident Evil games was hilarious!
SO THAT'S WHAT THE JOKE WAS! I dropped Res Evil5 only 5 minutes in due to the disappointment it was....
Gotta love phelous as barry
It was better than the entire LA movie franchise. Isn't that sad?
I bought them all. Just waiting for three. A horrible adventure once taken is still an adventure.
Reminds me of that game Limbo of the Lost.
If Wesker wanted an Alice Sandwich why wouldn't he eat one of the clones instead of blowing them up?
William Young he likes his Alice sandwiches cooked.
Because.............
...hmm.
His stupidity is showing again
Imperfect alices
That's the thing. They weren't imperfects. They were successful.
Wow...
Did Paul W.S. Anderson say to the guy playing Wesker, "You know the Matrix? Just copy Agent Smith in every conceivable way. The way he acts; the way he talks. All of it."
It seems Anderson ripped a lot off from the Matrix in this film. With all the pointless slow-motion bullshit.
Bane Knightfall And the Mary Sue Main Character.

Wesker did kind of have that formal "Smithspeak" in Code Veronica. IMO

popman1997
What about _"The Rock"_?
popman1997 If that's the criteria then M.Night made 2 really good movies before he started turning in piles of shit and we all hate that guy.
popman1997
Actually, the first Transformers movie was not bad either. Why else do you think they made so many sequels?
Kira Lawlet hmm. then maybe it's because the Resident Evil movies aren't as "popular" as the Transformer movies

After watching all these piss awful movies, I can say without a shadow of a doubt that Paul WS Anderson is a worse film maker than Michael Bay.
KingNazaru

this entire Resident evil movie series is a clusterfuck sandwitch, with extra Alice and bland flavor.
DarksideEXE Now with I Can't Believe It's Not Alice! 1-50000000
I thought the first in this series had some merit, as a prequel of what happened in the mansion in the first game
Then (hopefully) each sequel could have been proper movie rendition of the games

9:11 Watching Wesker beat the crap out of Alice makes me so happy.
That THING......isn't wesker, wesker is cool.....but yeah that weak ass, facsimile of wesker beating up that fucking Mary Sue made me happy too.....
I enjoy that little key adventure every time I see it.
While it's obvious none of these are Resident Evil movies, they are like an anthology of movies Paul Anderson wanted to make
Resident Evil - Cube
Apocalypse - a "Living Dead" sequel
Extinction - Mad Max/Road Warrior
Afterlife - Prison Break
and I haven't watched the last one. Any suggestions?
Retribution - Resident Evil in a holodeck
+Greycat R Afterlife also contains a little bit of The Matrix as well.
+Greycat R Afterlife also contains a little bit of The Matrix as well.
Wrath's Attack she's an original character inserted into bad fanfiction, what else would you expect?
+Greycat R Who just happens to be the wife of the Producer/Director and basically gets fuck all else work in leading roles.
I would much rather watch a Phelous resident evil spoof. Had me rolling lol.
The Cast jokes in the beginning of these videos always get a good laugh out of me.
"I GOT A SHOTGUN!"
You got to be a Resident Evil fan when you start poking fun at the needless puzzle solving.
Holy shit the beginning of this is hilarious
my question is when Alice first landed that plane on the roof and the rotor hit that concrete how did the rotor not get damaged wouldn't that have severely damaged the rotor then the plane would have been screwed
My question about your comment is wouldn’t watching Afterlife damage the logic centres in your brain and wouldn’t that damage make it impossible to ask a good question like yours? 😂
The first game was.... a trip
@@dallasmay4031 Luther's magic plane catching abilities did it
"Didn't he die, and that's supposed to be someone else?"😂🤣🤣
I think with with these movies Capcom just say "whatever Sony, just send us the damn cheque" and make their own canon CGI movies.
Monster Hunter is next.
There were 2 CGI Resident Evil movies.
Constantin Film is the one who actually makes the live-action films. Sony just distributes them.
So this entire movie series was based on some Resident Evil fanfiction that people said was really good, some even saying good enough to be a movie, and someone took those compliments seriously?
no the dumbass known as Anderson wrote the script for ALL the Resident evil films minus the canon cgi ones
I’m not if it was in Phelous video (most likely) but something about - Paul Anderson wrote a script - and was shopping it around. That script had the resident evil elements applied to it and the series was born.
Wesker likes blonde Jill because....
I dunno, she's one of his greatest enemies and he wants to make her his? That's my headcanon.
At 19:51 I was disappointed cause the master of lunch was actually attractive
Oh so cause the weapons weren't wet but cause Jill did "SHE BECAME COMPLETELY USELESS."
Ogihci2 EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEwhatever
It's hreeeeeeeeeeee
*THE MASTER OF SANDWICHES!*
Man, I just realized that Alice in basically this whole series (or at least this movie?) speaks with what I can only describe as a "sexy monotone".
Holy shit! Alaska is part of the Earth?!?!
My whole perception of reality is torn asunder!
Damn you Resident Evil!
The beginning is basically every resident evil game
I think that Chris's role would have been better if it was Billy Coen. We know Billy was a prisoner... So, this would fit perfectly. But, no. We got inmate Chris. (-_-)
And Billy was a military man too!
I agree with phelous Wentworth Miller would be a good chris in any other RE series
True. Like, they even kinda look alike a little, too bad they wasted him.
Agreed❤
The whole "shot to remove powers" is like that videogame trope of the sequel game removing all the late game skills you get in the previous game that pisses me off everytime in RPGs.
These movies used to be a guilty pleasure of mine, but they became more and more horrendous as more sequels were made..
When Phelan says "Jill, is that you Jill!?" I always think that he's lost his mind and is actually thinking thats Jill and not an image of her on a box LOL.
Resident Evil 4 was awesome...
The Video Game.
"Uh hey Robert, I don't think the bullets did enough damage to the DVD, can we load it with coins?"
Barry, you're pitiful.
the beginning is just amazing lmfaooo, great job phelous
I swear I'm not even a fan of the games and these movies still piss me off. >___
I like to imagine a very tired zombie just following Jill around and resetting all the traps and locks that she left open.
Oof.
Alice is such a Alice Sue in Resident Alice
DorianMichaelsIII Shawn was honestly perfect for Wesker, too bad they gave him nothing to work with
@Zoomer Waffen stfu
Wesker in these movies makes me think more of Smith from The Matrix sometimes.
Kaiser Yuuki why does she hate Jill?
The coma theory would explain the plot holes
@@reptile1677 true but that's some heavy coma dream lol
"Alice Drinks Crystal Pepsi" needs to be a thing. Everyone needs to know how it tastes.
This movie is ridiculous, isn't that right Enrico?🙄
"Yeah!"😂
I wish Barry canonly just spoke as stilted as his 1990s counterpart I knew this English teacher in my middle school who i swore spoke like Barry in the 1996 game.
Those Prison Break cuts get me every time. Well done. Lol!
23:44 - "oh look he's still alive and he's infected or something...I don't know. And he's working for Wesker now, cause why the hell not."
Why doesn’t Phelous have more subs?!?! I love his videos, especially all the silent hill and resident evil stuff. But his movie reviews and video games are awesome too
hey enrico, does this movie suck?
"........yeah."
"Can i get some Gauze?" *GUNSHOT*
Notice how the movements during the Wesker battle are directly copied from the RE5 cutscene? The glasses throw, the backflip, the teleportation, revealing the reptile eyes without glasses, and putting them on before grabbing their hands and throwing them etc.
Wesker is the best thing about these movies: they did him justice....until the last one
The Little Bosnia Experience DOOR OVERKILL
3:19
Phelous: Neither is she, she off dying her hair blonde.
*Jill looking confused after loading her gun*
I know that wasnt intentional but some reason that made me cracked up
Oh hai Captain Cold
Apparently him destroying that time thing the time masters had blew him into another dimension where he's stuck in an RE fanfic.
Too bad the gun and the deadpan voice didn't go with him. the resident evil series would've been so much better if it had been captain cold instead of Alice in umbrellaland.
Love that you pronounce ‘vlog’ as ‘V-log’.
considering you add some comments for these old reviews when you upload them on youtube, you shouldn't forget to mention in Retribution that Ada's actress was dubbed over by her voice-actress from RE2 and RE4,Sally Cahill. The closest thing that they ever got to a character being like his game counterpart in these movies when you think about it...
johnnysasaki They didn't do it with Barry though... :'(
Nothing like getting through a hard day, sitting, litting a joint and watching a Phelous video. Your my favourite youtuber
(Would probably need to be a fan movie.)
(I posted this on your rant video too... but I think it belongs here... with your actual review. Oops.)
wait, so wesker had a plaga in him too. now normally i'd just take that to mean anderson adapted the sucker mouths and merged them with the t-virus, except then next movie the red queen explicitly mentions Las Plagas! What the hell is going on here!
my biggest problem with that wesker fight is the fact that alice stabs him with a knife covered with her blood, aka her dna, so that means she gave wesker exactly what he wanted since her blood would then be in his system and given how things work in resident evil that would probably be enough
That 4 minute skit was better than the entire live action movie series.
I never f***ing liked Claire in these movies.
Also, this is the only movie where Wesker has his trenchcoat and is actually cool.
PikaLink91 his voice is just fucking cool, but I'll always like the Wesker voice from the game.
Super Duper Mega Ultra Alice: Afterlife
Also, the reason Wesker can survive so much stuff is because he Injected himself with (I think the T-Virus or the G-Virus.) Which is why he survived the Tyrant after being Impaled, and the and the Mansion explosion. (This is all found out in the Umbrella Chronicles.)
in the game yea but in these stupid movies none of the masion event ever happen , now he just happen to have T virus las plaga combo bullshjt with no explanation and inject himself that why he can survive all of that
Ventus Gale true.
Dr Strangelove
Prototype Virus actually. It's unnamed through out the series and for some reason only works on Wesker children.
LightAndDarkMdness02 really? I thought in the Umbrella Chronicles he injected himself with the G-Virus, guess I was wrong.
Dr Strangelove
Well, last time I checked it was Birkin who injected himself with G-Virus, and he is one of three people to ever be injected with it. The other two being Sherry (Kinda) and the dude from Degeneration.
Also, Resident Evil Revelation is Wesker's sister trying to get her hands on the prototype Virus so she can be like him.
00:00-02:58 All that... For a damn movie.
Yeah.
Yeah?
That prison break joke was fucking amazing
The Flash should be in this movie
Where did they find all those copies of her armor and TMPs for all of them? Umbrella must have had quite a bunch of 3D printers for all that stuff.
After watching the final chapter, I really appreciate this film.
At least you can see the slow mo, rather than having the camera too close in the dark.
Phelous, what are you doing with Nostalgia Critic's fancy dress neck tie?
Ashton Goodnough lol
WHAT!?!. The beginning of this is a riot
I cant stop watching these awesome reviews. Thank you phelous. 😁
Thanks for the prison break gags. Hahahahahahah. Typecasted on a whole different genre
Honestly this is my favorite out of all the RE movies, mostly because of the soundtrack
16:20 Captain Cold?! What are you doing here?
24:58 No. I say it's like he pulled a Masashi Kishimoto in how he referenced Naruto's previous arcs incorrectly...as well as have the rest to the story characters devolve into dung.
KingNazaru don't follow
Tobisaru Yeah you definitely shouldn't follow that series.
They raided an armoury that required them going underwater to reach and all the guns were fine upon returning to the surface.
HOLY SHIT! Phelan (or his friend) shot that DVD right through the center hole! Perfect!
One thing I will say for these movies is that they allowed Phelous to review them, and I sometimes like to watch these movies before playing any Resident Evil games, as the horrificness of them really makes you appreciate the games more.
turns 10 today!
I remember seeing it when I was at community college
Wasn't screened in advance for critics but I had fun with it
Slogs in a few places but Milla Jovovich proves she's still a bonafide action heroine battling the undead.
5:51
This is the first time I notice that the slide dosen't move back when he fires. Cmon they even do that in complete trash movies...well, a few atleast.
ALSO HOW THE FUCK DID WESKER SURVIVE THAT BLAST
+João Cabral Because of Anderson logic.
+EnforcerX71 That explains it. XD
Yep, that intro covers the logic of the games. XD
LMAO. The whole key thing. I love his sarcasm.
I'm not a fan of horror games (They terrify me) but somehow, your comedy stuff helps me get through any scary parts so thanks for that :) also the cosplay outfits are very cool
14.7.22
20:42 to 20:45 Wow Phelous you just did an excellent impersonation of Doug8798/Dumbass8798 when he thought he got revenge on me and Abel.
Wait.......does phelous own a shotgun?!?!.......wow cool
I watched this movie in the cinema. I wanted to leave after all clones were killed and “real” Alice lost her powers. Some people even did it. But I was brokeass student and didn’t want to admit this movie was waste of money, so I stayed 😂
I just laughed and shook my head with the las plagas showed up
I like how K-Mart has perfect highlights in a post-apocalyptic world.
The intro alone made me upvote.
Oh
