Well it gets obvious if you guess a lot. The one on the far side and doesn't have a gap from the picture to the edge of the screen is the one that's dead because they need the space to show the graphics of that person's death
It's a simple technical problem: On a 16:9 screen it's impossible to stop the zoom at the full height of the sticker without showing what's beside of it. This would only be possible on a vertical video or with horizontal stickers like in the new EURO 2020 Tournament Edition.
