Speaking of the Fords in the 1960s at Le Mans, it's thanks to Jacky Ickx (a Ford driver) that Le Mans got rid of the "everyone runs to their cars and gets going ASAP" start when he won the race in 1969 after *willingly starting last to ensure his safety belts were properly secured* and his decision was almost immediately vindicated at the cost of a privateer driver's life.

Wish I was there, meant to be my 5th le mans
You forgot the flying Australian (or maybe he’s too well-known for such a video) but great video nevertheless
Before watching this video: I know that Johnny Herbert was one of the drivers of Team Mazda who won the 24 h of Le Mans in 1991 with the Mazda 787B. I wonder why Johnny Herbert is not mentioned in this video?
You missed quite a few. Webber. The Hulk. Hartley just to name a few.
For those who don't know much about wec, Toyota is the Mercedes of wec
not for long when peugeot audi porsche ferrari joined
There's also Jacky Ickx.
I have a question: Why nobody is talking about Ken Miles?
Different triple crown
Ken Miles never actually raced in F1, all i could find was an entry to the 1961 USA GP but they never started the race.
Fernando Alonso… or did I just slip into an alternate universe and this never happened?
1:43 That's a daytone prototype, but whatever. You do you I guess?
It’s still a car Juan was driving though.

What about Alonso? He's won Monaco and Let Mans but not Indy as yet.
