Great job, Grayland and Will. One additional key point: if you are right handed, walk to the left of the center line. This helps ensure your right hand holding the copper pipe and your swing is centered over the center line. Vice versa for lefties.
Also, finish your last stroke up and away from your body (as Will showed). Make sure to keep your hand holding the copper pipe up and above the waterline so it doesn’t leak at the end all over the ice. I also recommend putting a heavier pebble around the hacks as those areas often get worn out faster with higher traffic.
If you were to error on the side of caution, should you aim to have a heavier pebble or a lighter pebble? Another words, is it better to be a slower walker or a faster walker? Slower swing or faster swing?

I swear Grayland never ages.

80 strokes is the minimum. 35 seconds puts the proper volume of water for Broomstones. For most leagues, a faster pace is better than a slower pace.
