It's good to take time to feel, it's necessary. That's why I wrote the song in the first place. I needed to tell God how I was feeling at that time, and I needed to feel it. But the true benefit of telling God how we feel is not just because we need to feel it. It's because He will truly help us get through it. He says in His word that He is close to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). And it's the truth. There is place you can find in Him, where you can just be there, with your heart as broken as it is, not matter the reason, and He will come so close. I've seen it for myself. And the way to find this place, is to tell him how you feel, and then give it to Him, let Him have it. As you do that, you will see, He will step in and fill every single void that there is in you. In that place, you will find a love, that is so overwhelming you won't even be able to comprehend it. And He will stay right there, that close, and restore you completely. God will get you through anything. The only thing you have to do is to bring the fullness of yourself, and let Him do the rest. So if you're sad, be excited, because you're about to have an encounter with the King of Kings, and feel the greatest love there is.
